If Ole is a smart coach, since we have been unable to buy a proper RW and our defence have been comical he should switch to a 3-5-2 formation. Rotate Martial, Greenwood, Rashford and Cavani as the two strikers. Shaw can play as the LCB closest to the LWB. Telles is s perfect candidate for LWB. The problem is who will play as RWB. Wan Bissaka is extremely poor with a very low football IQ, poor touch, etc. Crystal Palace scammed us big time.

This happened because of the infatuation with Sancho by Ole, the board and fans. If we had moved on from this deal in late August when they told us 120M or nothing we could have signed one of Ocampos, Neres, Coman and Sarr.

Chief, the leaky nature of our defence is based more on our coaching and defense system than the defenders. Against Spurs, their Wingers were usually drifting inward dragging our FBs inside providing space for their FBs to bomb forward. I was shocked on numerous occasions where we couldn't defend this simple strategy. Our wingers (Greenwood and Rashford) were supposed to track and defend against their fullbacks or defend using the zonal system, where the DM would track the winger coming inside towards the 18 yards box.

Agaisnt Brighton they explored us with one of the benefits of playing the 3-5-2 or 3-4-3 systems. I repeat we actually have more of a coaching problem than a personnel problem.

Shaw and AW are always tucking into the center of the defence whenever we are defending leaving so much space for opposition full backs to exploit us.

We clearly have a huge problem with effective coaching and defending. It's a pity though, there are so many lumbering and slow players in our team. Pressing is also alien to us. Once we lose the ball, we just drop back into our half of the pitch.
