I chastise Fred a lot for his poor passing range and tackle making decisions but he has been extremely impressive in the midfield today, winning that tackle for the 3rd goal was nice.

4-4-2 diamond is not the best formation for the kind of pressing that Leipzig are utilising, we need wide outball options and our current formation is too narrow. Also having Fred and AWB, two players that are poor in ball progression is a major handicap for the team.

Fred has got to be one of the poorest midfielder when it comes to progressive passing.
