how have you been? its been long i came online but i remembered you when i thought to myself that there's someone u can actually give an answer to my problems. Honestly, i am fed up with myself coz i don't know what is actually happening to me. i told u sometime last year that i was pregnant but lost the pregnancy on february 21 at 5 months due to incompetent cervix which was not detected early enough. now, the problem is that i've not been able to get pregnant ince then and i don't feel happy about it. after the miscarriage, the first blood i saw which i mistakened for my normal monthly peroid a was on 26th of march and it didn't flow well coz i remembered that i never used any pad and it was just some spotting which did not soak my pant, and then, i was supprised to see another one on 9th of april which was very reddish and was flowing well and lasted for normal 4days, after that the next one was 7th of may and was expecting the next one for around 4th of june coz i have a regular 28days cycle but to my supprise, it came on the 1st of june but i suspect i must have had an early miscariage coz i was getting some symtoms like tenderness of the body and my breats were fuller.

Now doctor what do u think must have happened between these period of march to june, please talk to me coz i haven't seen the next menstuation but i am confused as i can;t even calculate the cycle in days since it jumped from 7th of April to 1st of june. when do u think i should get the next period coz i haven;t seen it until date and i don't pray to see it again till after 9months. but if incase i should expect it, what is the date i should be looking at? thank u Dr as i await ur speedy response.

29th of june

i saw some spotting on the 29th and throughout the day, i did not use any pad and it didn't stain my panties, i thought it was implantation bleeding coz it also happened during the last pregnancy that i lost. but unfortunately, the next day been 30th, it came rushing and i had to use pad coz it was soaking already but i am feeling headaches, could i be pregnant or what? i took the home pregnancy test on the 27th and again on 28th but it came out negative. please help me out

happy new year Dr,its been long i came on nairaland. remember i told u in october that i was pregnant and everthing was going smoothly until last month when i saw what the doctor refered to as liquor and said it was an inevitable abortion, to me it seems that was the end of the world for me, i didn't want to accept but i had to when he enlightened me concerning it. i want to ask you when exactly i can try for another one. it happened on 21st of february precisely and i haven't seen my period since then. how soon do u think i should start seeing my normal menstrual period? actually the Gyn i saw said i should wait for 1 cycle so he will be able to date the pregnancy, but does that really matter? my husband and i have been having sex since 2 weeks back, do u think i might get pregnant again as a friend of mine said she got preg 2 wks after miscarriage.

please, i'll like to know if i am pregnant. my last mc was on the 30th of september and i was epecting it around 28th of october based on my 28 day cycle. i realised i started having pains on my nipples about a week before my expected menstruation and i am still feeling the pain till now. i saw little blood on 28 but stopped, it came on the eveing of 29th again but was thick ad brownish, not the colour of blood, i only notice this only when i dip my hand into my vagina, it never stained my pant until it stopped, that means that i never used a pad this month coz it wasn't flowing at all. i did a pregnancy test with pregnacy strip at home, and the result came with 2 red lines meaning positive, i vomit whenever i brush and its always green and very bitter. i haven't been to the lab to do a proper test but i went to the Gyn and he said he can't really say if i am pregnant becos it is too early to know now. is this true Dr?and also is there anything like false positive, this was what the Gyn told me that they've seen cases of false negative which i know about but i have never heard false postive. Does it mean that one mught not be pregnant and a test tells u that u are, i feel he doesn't know what he is saying. i am scared coz if i happen to be pregnant, then i need to go for treatments, the spotting could be a result of attempted miscarriage.

please when am i likely to ovulate? my last menstrual date was 30th of sep, the previous months before it was 1st sep, 4th of aug and 7th of july. how many days circle do u think this is?

i wrote u sometime ago that i went to see a Gyn and he gave me some drugs which included clomid Clomiphene Citrate Fertility Drug. i have finished one course of the drug and he gave me some dates to make sure i have sex which are 8th, 10th, 12th, 14th, 16th and 18th.i have been having sex since the instructed date but i still want to be sure if this dates are right coz i can't wait to get pregnant.

one more thing Dr, i don't think i ovulate coz i seem not to notice any slippery discharge like egg white. i understand that the Clomid drug given to me makes one fertile but do u think it is okay? or can u suggest another drug for me to take which wil make me ovulate? is it true that if an egg has fertilized and u happen to have hard sex, it can bring it down without u knowing coz i kept wondering if i have been conceiving all the while but it is always coming down due to my ignorance of having hard sex during that period. and finally, is it save to drink red wine while u ovulating and having sex? can it the alchohol stop the sperm from forming with an egg?

your doctor probably is suspicious that you have high prolactin level. However, if you squeeze anybody's nipples, you will see a discharge. The fact that you have regular cycles also discredits this diagnosis as people with high prolactin levels do not have regular periods. What drugs did he give you?

he gave me clomid, emzor, flagyl, a cream in color tablet to insert in my vigina at night and also one other one called risoven or something. i am not too sure about the last one, will check the name again

i am also taking some 7 days injection which i've started taking

thanks for all your responses to our problems. i went to see a Gyn yesterday just to explain somehings and believe me, about 25k that i did not budget to spend there came out from my pocket. it was then that i remembered you and i said to myself, this is what our Gyn on nairaland will offer to us for free.

Dr, sometime ago i asked a question concerning my menstrual circle and also to know when i can concieve but Agaba123 responded to my question and i got everything cleared to me.

i actually went to see a Gyn coz my husband and i have sex almost everyday and pregnancy never happened. it came to a point that when we're through with sex, i'll raise my 2 legs up in other not to make the semen come out of me but still it didn't happen.

Now my question is this, when i saw the Gyn , he took all the information of my circles and confirmed it was regular and then went further to say he wanted to examine my breasts, i was scared when he touched it and tried to press it, then i saw a liquid coming out from both breasts without breast feeding. he ended up giving me some drugs and said he wanted to investigate me for 3 months.

what do u think can be the cause of the liquid?
Is clomid recommended in my case coz he gave it to me and i've started using it?
does it mean i can't get pregnant because of the liquid?

please Dr, i need a quick response as i am scared of what i saw. thank you as i await ur reply

It looks like you have a regular 28-day cycle but 2 cycles may be too small to conclude. however based on the information, you may begin to get fertile 7 days after your menses and that can last until the 21 days. The ovulation occurs in between somewhere around the 14th day.
If I were you, i would just enjoy sex with my husband without worrying about getting pregnant as soon as possible because those girls that get pregnant out of wed;wedlock care nothing about getting an issue.

anxiety might affect the uterine wall and impair conception even if fertilization occurred.

Folic acid tabs is highly recommended if you intend to get pregnant and it is quite cheap. one 5mg- tab a day is more than enough.

And your husband must be kidding. Just two months after wedding and she is putting you under pressure. he can only worry after 1 year.

Also remember if you have been taken any contraceptive before now, it might affect your conception for up to 6 months from when you stopped. the type of contraceptive also matters.

i will like to ask u some questions, the question goes like this;

if i had my period on the 7th of july, 4th of august and 1st of september consecutively, how many days circle will that be? how am i suppose to know when my ovulation time is? when can i have sex if i want to concieve? what are the vitamins that i can take to facilitate my getting pregnant? is EVIOL a good Vit E to take because a friend of mine says its good and i am taking it at the moment. please kindly help me out on these because my husband is dying to be father, we just got married in June and he can't wait to see me get pregnant.
