Hhello my people,
I just bought my Mini bus aka korope, I have put it in a good shape to start work. Everything cost me 1.1m my question is how much can I give it out on hire purchase, how much should be paid weekly( pls note the vehicle will be plying lagos island road it's a very busy market area so I know there will always be work for the driver)

Any other tips to guide me through this whole thing will be highly appreciated.

Medical report is not a requirement in UAE embassy when you hold a 30/90 days tourist visa. Proper medical test will done in UAE if you desire to later change to residence visa.

Though, it is advised (not mandatory) to do some basic medical test (HIV, TB, Syphilis, HBV &C...) personally just to be sure of your health status if you are going primarily for job search.

Ministry of education will not attest your degree without sighting original copy of SSCE . MOE is the first step before MOFE.

Okay let me tackle this issue that is confusing all of you and for those giving out wrong information here.


Once your E-Visa is out and your agent sends it to you, then you have 45 days to visit the Abuja embassy for bio metrics/Payment and sticker, after that they give you appointment date for visa stamping/collection.

Because if you don't go to the embassy early, the visa might expire in your hands within those 45 days pending when you get an appointment at the Embassy.

After your visa sticker has been stamped on your passport, you have roughly 50-60 days validity to enter the U.A.E.

But I always advise travelers to leave within 1 month of receiving his/her visas from Abuja embassy.

The truth is that I can't travel earlier than the date I chose. I wish I could but some personal and financial reasons beyond my control won't allow it.

I have to say this that nairaland has been of so much tremendous help to me ever since the beginning of this processing. One thing that hasn't been helping us in this part of the world is lack of information. This thread has been able to provide lots of information. However, I'll still say that there are too many speculations and assumptions and very little facts.

I had to walk into the embassy to make enquiries from the officials today and based on what I found out, the 45 days is still an assumption or otherwise a time span for the biometrics. I do not entirely trust them because of their corrupt processes and selfish mindset but I think if the 45 days deadline is official, it should be specified somewhere or the other by the UAE government, UAE is a very organized country from what have seen.

I agree that people's visas are been cancelled before entry but it's not only because of time deadline, I met someone whose visa came out this June and was cancelled. People's Visa are been cancelled even before 40 days. The little explanation I was able to get was that cancellation involves agents one way or the other.

Am not trying to mislead anybody but am willing to take this gamble. My Visa States clearly that I have almost a month before I move so I'm sticking to that. Those that have their visa cancelled should find out exactly why. There is a reason why the embassy is always telling people to contact their agent after having visa cancelled.

For what it's worth, I am willing to use myself as an example in this 45 days issue and am very optimistic. I'll share my experience later about the outcome so people can learn. I believe if am destined to go to UAE, some assumptions or speculations cannot stop me. I have already warned my agent not to try any nonsense.

guys!! how do one calculate the dates on 3 months dubai visit visa. Cos on the visa sticker as written, date of issue and date of expiry is like 45 days. Does it mean that 3 months visa is now 45 days?

OR

the visa starts to count from date of arrival in Dubai

OR

is the 45 days, the interval date at which you are to travel??

i'm bit confused. can someone help out!!!!!

This was October last year. Then, Eligibility letter was not required

Sorry about the previous info, since they started this Biometric ‘wahala’ in Abuja they’ve also implemented that 2 years employment visa applicants should go for medicals in designated hospitals prior to coming. They will still do another one here in Uae like the old process.

he need eligibility letter for any kind of result, be it waec or degree. About your question, if you can use agent; well it depends on you, the way you can negotiate your way at the MOE and MOFA because those two ministries are something else.

1. How do I go about the abuja visa stamping? Where exactly do I go in abuja? I grew up in Akure so I don't know anywhere. Also , I heard one has to take some steps to get an earlier appointment, how true? How do I do this?

2. The certificate attestation, how do I go about it? Where do I go?

3. About the police character report, is it compulsory? How can I get it done in abuja?

And the cost of the above.

Please , this is my last resort of information, I need to know these things and any other thing you think I need to know. I don't know much, just want to leave Nigeria.
