I'm completely in support of the hate speech bill. If the bill was in effect, people like Elrufai, Ango Abudulahi, FFK, Reno, would have been hung by the balls.

The Senate on Thursday passed the Finance Bill which seeks to amend seven Acts of the National Assembly relating to taxes payable in the country.

The bill specifically seeks an increment of the value-added tax from five per cent to 7.5 per cent.

It also seeks an increment in the Companies Income tax, Customs and excise, Petroleum Profit Tax, Stamp duties, personal income tax and Capital Income tax.

The Minority Leader, Enyinnaya Abaribe, and Senators Ifeanyi Ubah, Gabriel Suswan and Abba Moro, however, raised objections to the bill.

They said the increment in taxes would further compound the sufferings and pains of Nigerians.

Ladies and gentlemen, we need to start talking...is there an economist on this platform, please share some implications of this bill. How weighty will its effect be on the citizens, the lower class?!

The python was found crossing the road towards the Senate building of the school around 11pm when a shuttle bus crushed the head and alerted students near by. The mother snake fought for long before it was finally killed by Abiola Hostel Boys. It was taken to the school wildlife center this morning.

FUTA and order sha, it would have made a great meal for lala and boys.
