Yes, I've changed sims for 4G. Both glo and mtn

You won't get Glo 4G on note 4x cos of the band glo uses even if you enter water to tap from their fibers. But u shld get that of mtn.

Note also that location matters. If you are outside Lagos u might not get 4G, best is H+. Try other networks to determine if you get 4G services. Also make sure preferred network is in lte mode.

Has anyone ever browsed with 4G on Xiaomi redmi Note 4x? I can't seem to get 4G here, and there's 4G network.

Ekismi, with 4G u can't say u wan manage small data of 500mb or less and enter IG pass 3mins, YouTube, etc o ma fa mu ni.

When you lose your phone, it's a miracle to get it back even with all these features, the real advantage here for me is the inability of the thief or any other person to use the phone again. If the phone is switched off, it's even worse because the phone will become inaccessible due to Mi Lock. Lastly it's not possible for the thief to turn off the find my device option, because Mi password is required to do that.

Bro how about factory reset? Cos for other Android phones even with lock, just factory reset or flashing of rom wipes all data. Is it same for Xiaomi?

If you have been an android user for awhile, most likely your contacts were saved on either device or Google contacts.

Anyways for sim [if u sure u saved there] from contacts, go to settings and, and select display all contacts, this will include contacts from sim. Or u can just select sim contacts only to check if there are any there.

For Google, u must enable syn on ur fone and then wait few minutes depending on network strength to allow it download to your fone

For device, check ur old device if the contacts are there, then do a backup/import to memory card, then copy same to new device, import from contacts.

Even without changing region, i was able to change mine. I just typed aafont and different fonts came up.

I think there is a bug in this recent update of note 4x, after updating and doing factory reset, I noticed that music will stop all of a sudden, I'll have to play it again.

Noticed this as well. Infact if the file has a little glitch, it skips as well

Please who can help with the best apn settings for glo on note 4x. I am not even interested in the 4glte. My issue is when it's in preferred network 3g, it works briefly for awhile like few mins, even downloads get accelerated. However afta that it doesn't pick up again until one repeats the process of selecting 3g again and even somtimes lte mode. I have tried Glo Direct and Glo flat. Glo Gwap does not even connect at all. Or is it a function of the sim tray no[sim 1 or sim 2]

Agreed. For me i was using a 32gb mc which was almost full. Now upon transferring contents, the rom[32gb] is filled [had to leave out some] it's why I asked abt the hybrid sim thing.
