But at least the fg would have gotten their own share for the dollar(profit) before paying back na A bond is like a paper to say I have given the govt $50 and the govt will return it in 2, 3 or 5 years with interest. So basically we borrow money put for bank come dey claim say na we get am. So what the guy is saying is how will we pay back with interest when even now naira is falling. By the time we pay back instead of 1600 naira to the dollar it may be 2000. If na payment for oil or some other agricultural goods that we have sold then it is very good news but na borrow borrow |

ireke: Who should bear it? It depends. If the sales person received fake naira notes, then the fault is absolutely with the sales person. If it was a fake transfer, then the sales person would be at fault only if she was supposed to receive the bank alert or if he/she breached some established policy to accept and approve the payment. For example, was there an established system to not receive transfers over a certain amount, or was there a policy to call and confirm payments before releasing goods?
I think the punishment should be managed within the context of existing policies, but of course this is Nigeria. Anything goes. It is all about the survival of the richest/strongest. Thank you jare |

For other sales girls resigning means there was a conspiracy, I'm happy the owner dodged a bullet E no dey easy like that. If you sack everybody that works for you soon there will be nobody left. Even the business owner has been scammed before it is almost certain. E sack himself?? |

In simple English, we need to produce what other people will buy. If people across the world are looking for naira to pay Nigerian business for goods then naira will appreciate. That’s the basic economics. |

atmy1: I think the Ukrainians have truly entered Balakliya, a town of 20,000. It's. Big victory for them in an ongoing campaign of despair. Let them enjoy their flags in Balakleya until the Russian reinforcements flush them out.
Kupiansk and Izium are exposed but Russian troops are already pouring into the breach and destroying some of the Ukrainian forces around. Joker Abeg mane Russia go house. They’ve disgraced themselves enough. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Ukraine Claims Counteroffensive Success To ‘starve The Russians’ by Olafisoyem: 9:21am On Sep 10, 2022 |
Just40: well the Ukrainians themselves said it, you can ask Washington post for your update and the figures are real.
As for Kharkiv, like I said earlier, the Ukrainians are trying but like everyone have learnt over the past 200 years.... Russian fortifications are the hardest to overcome..and the Ukrainians are paying that price with their blood using a war strategy from the Americans who are are yet to understand the Russians BTG formation.
The Russians just sent out 2 plane loads of special forces from Grozny to help keep the line in Kharkiv. The Ukrainian losses in Kharkiv are already mounting Oshe strategist. Have you seen how many Russians have been captured. Have you seen the tanks that Ukraine has captured? |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Ukraine Claims Counteroffensive Success To ‘starve The Russians’ by Olafisoyem: 9:19am On Sep 10, 2022 |
atmy1: Ukraine and the West are fighting a media and political war while Russia is conducting a Special Military Operation. You can glimpse the differences in their approaches to the war from what is most important to them. Ukraine is more interested in taking photos at any little space it can find for as long as possible even if it loses that territory in the next minute just to show it's western masters it is capable of taken space from the Russians.
On the other hand, Russia is simply interested in securing the donbas from Ukrainian army threats, protecting the Crimea and it's supply lines, and then destroying the capability of the Ukrainian army to wage a large scale war. Even though this trend is glaring even from western reports of the war, western media still doesn't understand and would rather reconstruct the narratives of the war according to what they want. Does everyone remember those TikTok Chechens and Russian propagandists haha. Joker! secure them from what? Informationally and operationally the ukraines have been defeating the Russians. What a disgrace. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Ukraine Claims Counteroffensive Success To ‘starve The Russians’ by Olafisoyem: 9:09am On Sep 10, 2022 |
Said it all texazzpete: Nah. That’s just what Russian propagandists were pushing before this latest quick push past Balakliya. The maps are misleading because you see all the reds etc and assume they’re filled with soldiers. Actual troop concentration is around or close to settlements.
The Ukrainian troops have pushed to Oskil, right to the banks of the river which is VERY defensible. They’ve also heavily damaged the bridge that Russians could have used to reinforce the region, so reinforcements will find it difficult to arrive. And now they’ve pretty much encircled Izyum (only remaining road out is under artillery control) and are currently in the strategic railroad city of Kupyansk as we speak (there’s videos coming out now)
It would take a near miracle for the Russians to be able to push back strongly in the coming days. much of their best troops were pulled to the South to Kherson oblast and are tied down there. They’ve constituted a new army corps, but that’s undermanned and filled with raw recruits and currently lacking the best equipment.
Ukraine would probably find it much harder after they mop up Izyum and Kupyansk, but at least capturing those areas would dramatically reduce Russia’s ability to supply their troops in Donetsk and Luhansk via rail. |

KillerCrocodile: I love and would always support the United States.
But I must say here that Putin fell for their Trap.
The United States have been planning to divert the European countries from Russian gas to American gas for a long time without success.
But since Putin's invasion of Ukraine, their plan is seeing the light of day.
Nord Stream 2 is dead and buried. Even Nord Stream 1 is on life support and may die a natural death if Germany and other EU countries can source for gas supply from other places.
Putin never saw this coming....
He was banking on division in the reaction among NATO and Western countries in response to his invasion.
If Donald Trump was President, that would be possible but not with Joe Biden as President.
Joe Biden is known as a Unifier. He is known for bringing different parties with different opinion to the table and coming up with a compromise plan of action.
Putin underestimated the European Union
Putin underestimated the old man in the oval office.
Putin's Russia fell for the trap that America has set for the Russian economy for a long time.
We are likely heading for a prolonged battle in Ukraine and with news like this, then the Russian economy would be severely dehydrated....
Slava Ukraini....... Glory to the heroes. Heroyam Slava |

Foreign Affairs › Amid Russias Disastrous Invasion Of Ukraine, Finland And Sweden Apply To NATO by Olafisoyem(op): 9:48am On May 12, 2022 |
Since Russia decided to pick fights it cannot win and be a bully in Europe instead of living in peace with its neighbours, many countries have had to rethink their security.
Germany has increased its military spending dramatically and many countries have decided to stop importing Russian goods including oil and gas.
The most surprising and what will probably annoy Putin most is the application of Sweden and Finland to join NATO. The organisation he believes is the cause of all these issues.
It’s now sad for Russia that the whole world knows their armed forces is a joke and even he now realises there is nothing he can do about these countries joining NATO.
This adds a 1340km NATO border to Russia and strengthens NATO with Sweden and Finlands military skill.

Well if that’s how they feel they can send their men to die for nothing. Two more countries are joining because of this invasion. Russia should go and fight them too. I laugh in Ukraine. |
