remove the hard drive and put it back. or test the hard drive on another system. if system sees the hard drive but the hard drive would not just boot to window, you can repair it. but if it will not see the hard drive at all, you may have to buy another harddrive. but don't worry you can always get your files back.

lawalhu: I tried to upgrade to windows 8 from windows site but my zip code was rejected; that it was in an invalid format. Obviously, upgrades from Nigeria aren't allowed. Go get a visa card at UBA (Not a UBA visa card o). You can use it anywhere, it is not nigeria based atm/master card; but real internetional visa card. Meanwhile you don't even need to have an account with UBA before you can pick it up.

Have you tried window 8? I have, and it makes sense far better than any of the window's "osses" I had ever used. Infact I hate window 7 straight away the moment i started using it for one reason: speed. I am completely in love with win 8 for its new features and speed. The funny side of it is that the crack for window 8 is already out! a friend gave me and i can't believe I already have genuine window 8 even before it is officially released. The only prob I have with it now is driver problem. All drivers are fixed but the sound.

Just want to know if everybody is facing the same prob. Please respond.
