that’s a complete madness. You don’t have any business taking an apprentice when you know you’re secretive about your knowledge. That’s why the black man will always lag behind. What happens to the form fees and training fees that was collected? What happens to many years of sacrifice on the part of the apprentice? Some boss even send their apprentice to wash their clothes and those of their families, cook for them , send them on errands, beat them when they make mistakes or comes late to work, and you’re still justifying their greedy and selfish attitude. I have seen people spending 8years and more just to learn trailers mechanic while the white man that assemble that trailer spent less than a year on it. It might be a norm in our society but it’s our duty to condemn it and not advocating for it. That everyone is doing it does not makes it right, and that no one is doing it does not makes it wrong. If you know you can’t hand over your skills and knowledge to another person, then don’t accept apprentice. If not wickedness and stupidity, how will you love your kids and want them to surpass you even though they’re not obedient to you, but don’t want another man’s child to get to your level talkies of surpassing you despite being loyal and obedient? I reject to be a mean, greedy, selfish and wicked boss. If my apprentice can know everything in one month and stands on his own, so be it!
