We keep hammering on premium tempered glass, not the one that is poor in quality that will want to make you smash your device on the ground. Try a nilkin tempered glass(should be around ₦5k) and come back to modify your statement. There are grades to literally everything.

@the bolded that you have never seen doesn't mean it's untrue, a lot of folks around me use premium phones and they all have a form of protection on their phones. Not everyone loves seeing those ugly scruffs or those tiny scratches on their phones which are most times inevitable when your screen is naked. You see it's not about being "careless",

I've never seen anyone who buys a phone worth 300k using a screen guard! Personally, screen guard irritates me and hide the beauty of a phone. Any force that breaks the screen guard without cracking the screen would not be enough to crack a screen without screen guard

Lol. Baba me no get mind o. Personally I don't believe in repairing phones cause most times when you take your phones to them for repairs for say your screen. They'll repair it and your mouthpiece may start malfunctioning. I used my last Huawei for straight 4years without any form of repairs.

I just use the Tempered Glass and Case to prevent scratches... If the screen wants to break it will break, irrespective of the Tempered Glass, so I don't really believe In using TG to avoid cracks from falls... Beht at least the TG and cases can prevent all these small scratches on the main screen, and on the Body.. keep the phone fresh and new looking.., without any marks ✔️

Nailed it. Over time screen would have some scratches on it that's the only disadvantage of not using screen guard

Maybe my own personal expectation tho. The way xaiomi chun out phones in a zig zag manner is annoying. You make 8 note successor of note 7, but note 7 is better, you make max 2 successor of max 1, but max 1 is better, you make note 6, but there is no difference in processing ability with note 5. Like wtf is that reterdiation or what? All you guys would use to justify these is the price tag which in the end is like robbing you Peter to give you Paul. They give you low price but make you suffer for essential things without you realising. I know it had still be worth it and the brand is good. But the overhype abeg e too much. You guys made Samsung, oppo, umigidi look thrash just to praise xiaomi. While in reality xaiomi has long way to go to catch up Samsung. That's the bitter truth you guys wouldn't accept. I don tire for this matter again and I wouldn't bother quoting anyone or saying anything again. #peace

Because na me put the issue there or xiaomi didn't fix with updates? If it was only me that has the issues that one for be different thing. But tons of users are expecting update to fix the issues. Some people don't even use WiFi-Bluetooth at all but would come and quote me just to spew thrash and defend the phone because they own it and are obsessed with it. Its not about midrange phone or whatever I've used max 2 before and I must say I'm totally satisfied with the phone. But you see this note 8 is just too overhyped and overrated.

Redmi Note 8 is going to get a major update by July na. Besides what are the issues you are facing because my brother uses the Note 8 and he doesn't have any complaints about it.

Can't use Bluetooth and WiFi simultaneously. WiFi connectivity on it's own is very poor. Notification issue on lockscreen. Gaming performance, battery performance etc

They started this shit with redmi note 5..
We that bough redmi note 6 tot we would become the top dogs..
We were wrong. Everything that was done for note 5 was done for note 6. And note 5 was always talked about more..
It got worse when note 7 came out..
It was lik note 6 didn't exist..

Same thing is happening now..
Note 7 is still hugging all d fame.
Note 8 users feel lik they don't exist.

Nd now note 9 is out..

By December note 10 will come out.
Note 8 will be a forgotten memory.
Note 7 will still be thriving hard.

Redmi note 8 is a needles phone by xaiomi if they know they would not support the phone. Since i bought this phones all updates I've gotten are security patch updates. Who even care about security update? There are numbers of issues that need fix such as notification, WiFi and Bluetooth interference issues, but no, what they choose to give is security update. The phone has couple of let downs from the processor to the battery etc. I will first xaiomi to abandon the phone before they do. One would have been better of with the mtk note 8 Pro sef. My next phone na Flagship straight. All these mid rangers na just market strategy not really special
