Removing the back will release any pressure on the buttons if that's the cause, just open it and try as advised.

Try volume down button + power button.

You may have to open the phone and disconnect both the power button and battery

GrandMufti:
Just charge the phone for now. When fully charged, while the phone is booting, press and hold the power button for a long time till it vibrates.

You can also try volume button down + power button combo

It could also be a faulty power button or battery. Check YouTube on how to open the phone and disconnect both. Be careful.

Is your bootloader unlocked?

Abeg my people I have a serious issue with my mi max 2, tried to turn on the phone but it wouldn't on, but when I connect charger and try to on the phone keeps rebooting after the mi logo and would not boot into system. It wouldn't boot into recovery or fastboot mode for me to even think of flashing the Rom. It only reboots at mi logo when I connect charger. Pls any solution to this?

That's strange, am totally enjoying my redmi note 8T, both power and performance. There must be something draining your battery cos am a fairly heavy user, data is turn on all through the day plus lots of surfing and it still gets me through the day.

Power Saving mode is more effective from like 40%. From full charge the battery backup is better with it turned off

My redmi note 8 of less than 5 months is already having screen bleeding problem.. the lcd light at the side of the screen becomes obvious on the light grey background ..and the screen is also getting transparent like i can see my previously opened app from the background..is there any solution to this?
