Smalling has done alright against bottom and mid table teams but against top table teams he is nothing ! So where do United go from here ! Spend even more money or replace the Dutch fool manager with a manager that knows what he's doing ! But who that is available would want to manage United ? I didn't think any manager could actually make Bodgers look decent. Jose has bitten more than he can chew. First he embarked on an egoistic white elephant project of signing Falcao just to show that he could do what his teacher, Louis van Gaal could not do; & when United declined to sign Pedro, he quickly signed him. Neutral observers have always felt that both decisions were quite misguided. More than that, Jose has successfully alienated himself and the club in the league by being constantly belligerent, by constantly being abusive towards Wenger, by being habitually cranky when losing and irritatingly triumphalist when winning. He's alienated himself further by talking like some idol of whom everybody should stand in awe. He's also made Chelsea so hated by ALWAYS defending his players' indefensible actions. But his biggest undoing is the way he's been talking down on and blaming everyone and everything for his failures but himself!
