Hmmmm. Nike must have slashed 90% off Brazil jersey now. Germany, dia ris God oooooooo |
Lesson learnt so far by Ola: selflessness. The Germans are selfless. Personal glory is foreign to them. They believe success is a collective/team effort. This team spirit - espirit de corps, is strange to Africans. A Jordan Ayew would have gone for personal glory and, at least, 3 of the goals scored tonight would have been missed. Lesson quietly learnt! |
What exactly is happening here? Is everything okay with Seun's forum? Why did Seun change my username without my consent? What is this all about? What's the meaning of "one1"? One one? ![]() I am not happy, at all. ![]() |

lacasa: Vote wisely in 2015Vote wisely? Would that produce other nationalities? Don't be fooled, the bandwagon effect transcends parties. It is a Nigerian thing - no matter how religious ![]() |
redsun: Some times one begins to wonder whether they are talking of zimbabwe kind of billions. The gap between these leaders and the common man is unimaginable. They are just toooooo rich. A Niger Delta politician once left a stately home, cars (including X6), in the UK without visiting for about a year. 5,000 pounds hotel suites are normal meeting venues The mind boggles |
jay bee: Why must all these common stealing be in billions geeez ![]() Obviously, millions can't buy houses for girlfriends in Western countries. Also, not good enough for suites at The Dorchester |
Elythron16zero4: Adieu Nigeria public schools may your memories remain infinitely, those you produced will never forget youThe same people they produced destroyed them. Abeg, leave tory |
dasoul: But the case is different in Nigeria! That's what they want to replicate in Nigeria. Remember Naija is a young country. Also, it was better then. Nowadays, it's not easy. A lad with a background such as OBJ's wouldn't get into the military right now. It's now done with connections. BTW, Yar'Adua had it good |
This practice is common all over the world, though. In Britain, for example, David Cameron attended Eton, a school meant for uber rich people and royalties. Nick Clegg, the deputy PM, attended Westminster, a school that charges 8 Million Naira per year. One-third of members of the British parliament are OxBridge grads. It's a very unfair world! |
These schools are for people with oodles of cash. I will Get There! |
deols: How are u?Let's leave NL, dear. It's now all about you Missed ya |

APC as a party has lost its way. It has become elitist and their policies are not public-spirited anymore. Also, their attempt to become mainstream at all cost by romancing strange bedfellows is also strange to SWesterners. The region is unique....its politics is unique. Swesterners see the party as their own no longer. Basically, APC SW governors have lost touch with reality. What they don't know is: there are some things you can get away with in Lagos, but, these things will so tellingly be your waterloo in other SW states. Some of their leaders are also too elitist, e.g, Ajimobi. I really would like to see how Ibadan (11 LG areas) will be won by APC. The party has lost touch with what I would like to describe as the "voting class" Let them keep looking for unlikely companions and allies up North ![]() |
lovelyronke20: am fine and u?? thanksDoing great. Take care. Night....night |

Garri (x7), the best garri account of all time ![]() |
Billyonaire: My major concern is not how I felt about Nairaland offline status, because I felt relieved from supporter of APC mourning of their loss, but my concern is the motive behind Ddosing of Nairaland just when we won an election at Ekiti State. Does it mean the the cyber arm of the supporter of APC have engaged the services of the syrian electronic army to quench our joys after that victory ?Hmmmmmmmmmmmm |
jamace: Yahoooo! NL is back o. I miss NL badly o.Hmmmmmmmmmmmm |
Whao! Oh my Nairaland! We are with you, Seun. May God bless this community. |
excelabbey: FOR THE RECORDS - The Dangote graduate drivers were unceremoniously thrown out this week and few being retained. The status of d scheme point to sham and cloudy intentions. We warned y'all ![]() |
Read this: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2148620/Alexandra-Burke-keeps-ex-Jermain-Defoes-Bentley-firmly-lock-key.html The said car will set you back a whopping 45 million Naira: https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2012/05/23/article-0-133DF687000005DC-446_634x400.jpg https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2012/05/23/article-0-1310F148000005DC-584_306x423.jpg |
Hehehehe ![]() You need to talk to Jermaine Defoe. He gave a very expensive car, a Bentley, to Alex Burke but the lady refused to return the car when she discovered that Defoe was unfaithful. She decided to leave Defoe but Mr Defoe wanted all the love gifts he lavished on her back. A funny drama ensued. ![]() |
