Politics › Re: Please Nairalanders, Let Us Obey And Apply The Following Nairaland Rules by olaric(m): 3:00pm On Jun 14, 2015 |
The notion that one tribe is inferior to the other is the cause of so much hatred and lack of tolerance amongst Nairalanders. Some people just can't air their views without insulting others. Yorubas and the Ibos are two of the most advanced tribes in Nigeria, yet you will be amazed that no tribe engage in bashing the other more than both. Their strength lies in unity, but they choose to be more interested in those things that separate them. They are always at each other's throat. |

SGF. ( even with less than 100k vote for buhari) Can't believe you are celebrating mediocrity. 16 years after democracy, and you are still celebrating Deputy Senate President and SGF when Southwest, Southsouth and North have all produced a President each- even with the high literacy level in the Southeast. Stop playing catch-up and put your acts in order. |

It depends on the country. Nigeria for instance has made more criminals worse off than they were before being jailed. However, the purpose of jailing an individual is meant to fulfil two purposes in the real sense-corrective and deterrent. |

How can a right-thinking person come up with something like this? I think you need to have your head re-examined. It seems like the stress of not getting fuel all these while has taken its toll on you. Please show some respect to other people's parents, and use your talent for something more positive. Are you condemning them even before trial? What if one of them was your parent and someone did similar thing? |

You are very stupidd to tell me i wasn't properly brought up. I won't blame you for this mess If not cos of Nairaland, a nobody ll open his poverty ridden mouth to say jack shit Once again u just confirmed what I said earlier about your upbringing. Go back home and be retrained. |

Mintek: I'm not holding brief for Kashamu but due process must be followed. An accused is not guilty until proven so by a court.
House Arrest is alien to our constitution...that court's pronouncement is in order. I guess you are right. |
Politics › Re: Court Orders NDLEA Out Of Kashamu's Home by olaric(m): 7:12pm On May 26, 2015 |
GentleToks: Shut up.
Do you guys know how US and UK judicial system work?
UK acquitted this man couple of years ago despite all the presentations of US/UK prosecuting attorney in court. These two countries failed woefully in court to present their case with convincing evidences and the case was technically and practically thrown out of court on the basis of unsubstantial evidence.
But guess what, Almighty US came back and demanded for one of their slaves(You all except those who can thru the double standard of US) to be brought back to face the same trauma the man was subjected to couple of years ago.
Do you guys know what it takes to be locked down for 5years in a room but only for the case that made you to be banged up in a room for that long to be thrown out? The psychological, mental, physical and emotional tortures is killing and excruciating to say the least.
America prosecutors would do anything to bang up regardless how innocent you are cos it boosts and secure their profile and job. You slaves should watch d videos of your fellow sold out brothers; Black American and see how bleeped their lives are.
Justice in US u said!!!! The injustices in America are all over youtube and those are the ones caught on Cameras. However, the question is what about the injustices that were not caught on Cameras?
Finally, if truly this man has committed the alleged crime, America has got everything within her arsenal to ensure that the case is well dealt with in Nigeria court. Let them present their case before a competent law court in Nigeria and if he is finally convicted then they could extradite him to US and do whatever they want with him.
Bunch of stupid Hypocrites.
Bunch of these stupid Igbo guys here who shouting "take him to US 4 prosecution" were the same stupid people advocating for their dying brothers in Asian countries here last couple of days to be forgiven despite all the glaring evidences against these dead criminals. They were even advising federal govt to throw her Wright behind their brothers.
I only blamed Yorubas who always use their own as sacrificial lambs in the cesspit called Nigeria.
From: Tafa Balogun Bode George Ette FFK etc What I have observed about most people on Nairaland is that they can't seem to get their feelings and arguments across without insulting others. I guess you just showed from your use of insulting word (shutup) that you were not properly brought up. You lack respect for other people's opinion. |

proudlyhandsome: If that(Mental test) was in place, I am 100% sure that you would have been disqualified right from day one, but unfortunately we are the one tolerating and coping with your mental instability.
Having said that, I m sorry if my first post was disrespectful and insultive. I was actually shocked at your response to prof. Osibanjo's submission about unhealthy state of our economy which i believed we all know about.
I think I was expecting something better than your response to what Prof. Osibanjo said.
My first paragraph is necessary in case you are still looking for war. Luv u though. Did you say war my brother? Aren't you tired of the wars we wage everyday? We battle insecurity, power failure, bad roads, unemployment, and the likes. As far as I am concerned, you are not my enemy. I only responded to the Prof's statement because our leaders are not telling us anything new. Who doesn't know that GEJ failed us (except of course, some tribalists who seem to think whether good or bad, Jonathan should not be voted out because he is their kinsman). My assertion: Buhari and Osibanjo should stop telling us what we already know, and let's move forward. That's all bro. Peace! |

Those who find it hard to respect and accommodate other people's views are no better than the worst dictators of this world. Can't you just be civil at least for once in your life? Have I said anything to warrant insults from you? I think someone like you who can't engage others in matured argument and discussion should be made to undergo mental test before signing up on Nairaland. |
