No politician is worth the pain these trekkers are putting themselves through. Is Niyi (the Gej trekker) doing it because he wants to honour GEJ or enrich himself? He should stop being hypocritical about it. How can you abandon your pregnant wife and kid back home to trek for one politician who has ruined our economy?

The move by the 19 All Progressive Congress (APC) lawmakers in Ekiti State House of Assembly to impeach the state governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose and his Deputy, Dr Kolapo Olubunmi Olusola may have suffered a temporary setback

The lawmakers through the embattled speaker,Hon Adewale Omirin had announced through a letter sent to the Chief Judge of the State last week, Justice Ayodeji Daramola to set up a seven member panel to investigate allegation of gross misconduct against the governor, Mr Fayose and his Deputy

But the move may have suffered a temporary setback,as the state judiciary has claimed ignorance of such a letter

Even ,as there was uneasy calm in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital on Monday as news filters into town that the apex Court would be delivering judgment tomorrow (Tuesday), in the disputed June 21, 2014 Ekiti gubernatorial election.

Leadership of the two political parties ,PDP and APC are already in Abuja,the Federal Capital Territory in readiness for today’s judgement

However, the Chief Registrar of the state High Court, Barr Olufemi Fayemi told Vanguard in a telephone interview yesterday that he knew nothing about the letter

“I do not know anything about such a letter’

When remanded that being the Chief Registrar of the High Court that he must know all the correspondents of the court with other bodies or arm of government,Mr. Fasanmi said,”From your own observation or comment ,you should be able to draw inference from what l have just said that “I do not know anything about the letter you are talking about”

Nobel Peace Prize winner and teenage activist, Malala Yousafzai on Monday criticised Nigerian and world leaders for not doing enough to help free 219 schoolgirls kidnapped a year ago by Boko Haram militants.

Malala said this in a letter she wrote to the girls on the anniversary of the kidnap of the girls by the dreaded Islamic sect, Boko Haram.

In her letter, Malala wrote:

“In my opinion, Nigerian leaders and the international community have not done enough to help you.”

“They must do much more to help secure your release. I am among many people pressuring them to make sure you are freed,” she added, calling the girls “my brave sisters.”

No election since I became wise as a man has gulped more money than this one. Why should they be spending money recklessly without considering the harm they are causing the nation? Governance in Nigeria has stooped so low as a result of the charlatans manning or holding various posts in both federal and state levels. The South-South had their chance to fix this country, and they allowed a Jonathan and a Patience to mess things up.

That sounds very interesting as Android users have been waiting for the version of the app, which was released long ago for Apple users. The new app provides you details and graph on how to get your dream job, and interestingly tells you a couple of other things you might not have heard of that influence job search.
