Mftivi:If we have been sending big men to jail starting from that time ,don,t you think we would have had a better country by now, where every body is equal and where no one is above the law.Have you heard of a Big man going to jail in Nigeria for offence committed why does the same politician go to London and respect their laws and dis respect the laws in his own country? |
Mftivi:Your ignorance is why so many Nigerians are on death roll in many prisons around the world, because you have taken so many things to be a normal way of life.Corruption is not normal, drug peddling is not good for a society , politicians need to be accountable to the people, laws must be respected. |
ichidodo:Well informed people are voting for change because all promises were never kept and all Yoruba from south were never in government of GEJ ,he made some junior ministers and you think they dont know, the place is divided because of dollars. The perception is that of change ,the emotions is that of change, the cry of the people of that of change the poverty level is just to much . |
natureblack:Buhari was head of state and he did not know what was going on around him ,he was busy with other programs ,so he might not have known ,because we have people in charge and they just report back to them. But the corruption was just too much in 1983 when he took over the government ,they took over because of the corruption the politicians back them were using champagne to wash their hands after food ,the champagne came all the way from France ,some of them were labelled back then with names of the politicians on them. The politicians signed agreements with pea gout automobiles when there were other good auto makers back then ,The same year pea gout came to Nigeria was also the same year me cedes Benz went to India.Today the Indians have built their own brand called TATA and it is powered By me-cedes Benz engines .while in Nigeria we are still on one spot assembling cars .They made wrong choices.Umaru dikko ran away because he was corrupt . |
ichidodo:Lies ,the most popular candidate in the whole of southwest Nigeria among the voting populations is Buhari .You are talking about well informed voters. The leading senatorial candidates of the APC control a largest chunk of the parts of the major states .So you mean they will vote for the APC senators and then vote PDP for President .Can that really be the case ![]() |
natureblack:cheers!All the best |
ichidodo:You cannot win where they dont like you ,you vote must translate to the overall perception of the people of the area |
[quote author=jogojogo post=32037966]Did you SouthWest? I laugh......Jona can't make more than 30% in the Southwest The person is forecasting using 2011 scenario |
natureblack:You listed drug peddlers on that list to also get sympathy right, laws of every land must be respected if you break the laws of a land you have to face the consequences of breaking the laws.Drug peddling in Indonesia is punishable with death, Singapore is death, Malaysia is death,India is 25 years ,Thailand is life .so what is wrong in death penalty. In fact in China corrupt politicians normally face death penalty. That is the only way to reduce and eradicate or bring down corruption. Even High tech countries still face the problems of kickbacks |
who in Nigeria does not know that PDP is against card readers.Every body knows they are against it because they want to use analog to Rig at gun point. |
natureblack:Nonsense |
(Bloomberg) -- President Goodluck Jonathan left the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange after a visit two weeks ago to traders singing “For He’s a Jolly Good Fellow”. Some investors would prefer that he keeps walking. Since rising to a five-year high in July, Nigeria’s benchmark stock index has plummeted 30 percent and is now only 11 percent higher than when Jonathan took office in May 2010. Stocks in South Africa and Kenya rallied 90 percent in the period, while those in Zambia and Ghana more than doubled. The naira fell to a record in February, and domestic government bond yields of almost 16 percent are the highest among 31 emerging markets monitored by Bloomberg indexes. “It’s been horrible,” Ayodele Salami, who oversees $200 million of Nigerian assets as chief investment officer of Duet Asset Management, said by phone from London on Feb. 23. “Foreigners have been getting out of equities and fixed income. Bond yields in Nigeria are now astronomically high.” Jonathan’s failure to wean Nigeria off its reliance on oil, and save surplus revenue when crude prices were trading at record highs, is coming back to haunt his campaign for a second term in office. A plunge in crude of almost 50 percent since June risks slowing economic growth in 2015 to half the pace set over the past 15 years. A win for his opponent, Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress, may tempt foreign investors back to Africa’s biggest economy and spur a rally in Nigerian assets, according to Holger Siebrecht at Boston-based Acadian Asset Management. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-03-26/jonathan-exit-seen-as-spark-needed-to-ignite-nigerian-markets |
Very bad Government ,intimidating and bribing and planning to rig the elections even though he his not popular. |
1. Number tag of a real policeman must be six digits, lessthan six, is fake. 2. Only female police officers have their numbers begin with "0", any policeman with number beginning with "0" is fake. 3. Every policeman's name tag is woven to the shirt, no more removable name tags. 4.A distinction between the normal policeman and the SPY (supernumerary) police personnel, is that a SPY number must be either three or four digits with the word "SPY" boldly inscribed on their uniform shoulder. Please, at night be vigilant, always roll-up your windows in traffic, central lock your doors, be double sure they are true policemen, if they are not, be strong and speed off. Never get frightened. Be watchful, they are everywhere; educate your family members, neighbors, and friends. GOD Almighty will continue to protect us. source Rose P. Graham |
aresa:You can be influential without any education ,you can see emotions ,perception and behavioral attitude towards what they feel at that moment and they can win people to share in their feelings towards a candidate without any inducement .Have you not seen pastors that preach in local dialects without any form of education and he is able to win follower ship. It is the same thing. Elites are opinion molders in particular societies and it is not necessarily politics but in other areas such business, farming, fashion etc as well |

The police in Ekiti we are told are not involved. It is a combination of members of vigilantes and policemen working directly with the governor that are carrying out the arrests. Those arrested are being detained in a house in the government premises. The excuse for the arrest is that they have not fully defrayed their car loans under the government of former Governor Kayode Fayemi. We are calling on people of goodwill to call Gov Fayose to order. As at writing they are in homes of Mrs Bunmi Dipo Salami, house of reps candidate Mrs Eniola Ajayi, Chief Mrs Ronke Okusanya. News getting to me indicates that a former Commissioner for Finance Mr Bayo Aina has been arrested about an hour ago. source Ojudu Babafemi |
IVORY2009:You cannot rig where they don't know you, Perception and what people think about you is very important ,so you can not lead in a poll without an image that is right . we have about are about 167,371,945 telephone lines ,this people sharpen ideas of the people around them including you.In iruland here a large percentage of the people are connected to internet and this helps in awareness creation of people around them.Opinion poll such as this one is almost correct and accurate. |
IVORY2009:The people online are elites,we have millions of Nigerians with telephones now and 60% being young people, they are all opinion molders .So online polls are real, without guns on election day ,in a free and fair poll ,the people,s opinion will matter. |
