BusinessRe: CBN Threatens Severe Sanctions On Banks For TSA Violation by OlaSpeaker(m): 12:21pm On Sep 09, 2015
mrrock:
One problem with this country is corruption is institutionalised. Otherwise, what do they mean by......."all revenue due to the Federal Government or any of its agencies must be paid into the Treasury Single Account (TSA) or designated accounts maintained and operated in the CBN, except otherwise expressly approved".

With this caveat nepotism and underhand deals with be made and corruption continues.

Indeed, corruption is institutionalised in Nigeria. We can't just do without it.
section 80 of the 1999 Nigeria constitution as amended empower the president to do so it state thus
80 . (1) All revenues or other moneys raised or received by the Federation (not being revenues or other moneys payable under this Constitution or any Act of the National Assembly into any other public fund of the Federation established for a specific purpose) shall be paid into and form one Consolidated Revenue Fund of the Federation.
(2) No moneys shall be withdrawn from the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the Federation except to meet expenditure that is charged upon the fund by this Constitution or where the issue of those moneys has been authorised by an Appropriation Act, Supplementary Appropriation Act or an Act passed in pursuance of section 81 of this Constitution.
(3) No moneys shall be withdrawn from any public fund of the Federation, other than the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the Federation, unless the issue of those moneys has been authorised by an Act of the National Assembly.
(4) No moneys shall be withdrawn from the Consolidated Revenue Fund or any other public fund of the Federation, except in the manner prescribed by the National Assembly.

PoliticsRe: If Dickson Loses APC Will Mock Me And My Wife – Jonathan by OlaSpeaker(m): 9:55am On Sep 09, 2015
If Dickson has performed well and passed the pass mark of his people why not they can entrust their confidence in him for another four years but to vote Dickson base on what the ex-president said is unjustifiable and i most note here that mr. Jonathan should stop playin ethnic and religion politics, by saying PDP is an ijaw party says nothing than he his a polical ethnic jingoism and saying if Dickson lose APC will mock him shows even him can not score Dickson base on performance rather he his persuading the people base on his pityful sorry state and a selfish defence of his reputation. Honestly i thought the ex-president should have grown more than this politically after sixteen years of experience

Nairaland GeneralHow Many Of You Can Sing This? by OlaSpeaker(op):
It will be agreed that not so many Nigerians can sing the country's national anthem, though not too good for the country but the truth is not every Nigerian child can sing the national anthem words for words right from the primary school pupil up to the undergraduate in the higher institutions if in doubt call on your neighbor's child to sing the first stanza of the National anthem and you will be shock to hear the blunder that will come out like the rattle of the gun well who will blame the poor Nigerian child if even the law makers can not sing the country's anthem correctly, few years ago on one of the national tele network news a lawmaker was asked to sing the national anthem it was so embarrassing to hear the lawmaker sang the remixed of the "Arise o compatriot" but of course a poor education on that may have caused his bluff that very day.

However if awesome number of the Nigeria citizens can't sing the first and second stanzas of the national anthem how many then can sing the national anthem of the first republic which i called "The Independence Anthem" and i tend to ask How many of you can sing thishuh

#Nigeria we hail thee
Our own dear native land,
Though tribes and tongue may differ
In brotherhood we stand.
Nigerias all am proud to serve
Our sovereign motherland.

Go check the meaning of criticism.
Without criticism this government will get to no where.
I can't be a politician because my calling is totally different from that. Btw there is no big deal in becoming a politician.
your criticism would have been better if constructively given than insulting the first citizen of the country your President my President MUHAMMADU BUHARI

CareerRe: Pls Advise: Architecture Or Civil Engineering by OlaSpeaker(m): 5:42pm On Sep 08, 2015
Abimloaded:
Architecture! Architecture!! Architecture!!!

WHY ? Architecture is the best professional course you can ever study. Architects are the Second God because we create what we conceive !

WHICH COURSE IS LIKE UNTO THEE,
ARCHITECTURE? In school they see us
as the most hard working, simply because
ARCHITECTURE keeps us up most
nights. After school, while graduates of other professions
chase
after job vacancies, we tell Job Vacancies how much we
wish to be paid
if they want us to work for them, just because we are
ARCHITECTS. 1st
class? 2nd class? They are all brilliant. But an
ARCHITECT with a Pass
degree will keep you & your wife as staff in his office,
and on salary
- just because he is an ARCHITECTS. Even if we wish
not to work with
anybody, the jobs come right down to our door steps,
just because we
are ARCHITECTS. And while sitting at home, we make
an average of
100,000naira monthly because we are ARCHITECTS,
you think that's
simple? Then resign from your job and try sitting at
home for 4 days
if you ain't one; call me on phone when you've got
airtime. We can
even make an average of 30-40,000naira every 6days
by simply teaching
people softwares we know in ARCHITECTURE or being
involved in
architectural visualization, just because we are
ARCHITECTS. And for
simply scrambling a collection of lines on paper (which
70% of the
world's professors cannot interpret/read), we get paid;
just because
we are ARCHITECTS. We determine if your hometown/
village will find
development, just because we are ARCHITECTS. Those
skyscrapers and
famous buildings you have promised yourself to visit
before you die,
we built them, because we are ARCHITECTS. For
showing you what your
dream house will look like, we get paid even if you
eventually don't
afford to build it, simply because we are ARCHITECTS.
We do not need
CNN and the NTA Network News to tell people what we
do, every single
house we've designed does all the talking, because we are
ARCHITECTS.
The only profession where you work less (literally,
because you
dictate when to work) but earn more -
ARCHITECTURE. The only
profession that allows you to begin your day by 11am
every single day
but earn more than those who work 29hours (+5 ghost
hours) a day.

#TeamArchitecture
#TeamCreativity
I am proud to be an ARCHITECT

Pa kolade is just trying to use wisdom to mince words by not naming names he learned from Gen. Azazi who hit the nail on the head and end up in an helicopter crashed. someone said he tried to make things right but he was short up by some powerfull forces even if he include this in his resignation letter to the President he will only end up like Azazi after all Gen. Azazi blew the whistle he ended up losing his life in a chopper crash and uptill now nothing was done to his revelation

EducationRe: Religious Propagation On Nigerian Campuses: Infringement Of Rights by OlaSpeaker(m): 12:14pm On Sep 07, 2015
It is not just in our campuses but also in pur national lives. Religion as been used to commit so many atrocities, religion is worse than slavery that is why Christ called the Pharisees generation of vipers and hypocrites because religion is compulsion while God give us free will God said in Deuteronomy 30:19 he has set before us life and death but he urge us to choose life now that is free will, if God want us to be religious he would compelled us to serve him what God required of us is to have a personal relationship with him and not this hypocritical dos n don't of religion. I pray that one day we will see reasons to serve God and not being religious
