drakeskull: When did you update? When you update a phone, major update for that matter, it's expected it needs to settle for some days before getting the best out of it. So you might notice a change in your battery.
I updated note 9 pro today and noticed just a slight difference in battery life but it's getting better Thanks Update has stayed at least 2weeks |

Obedinho130: you put your phone in airplane mode before you sleep if you wont receive calls in the night. You can also make sure your non browsing sim is switched to 2g when the two sims are active Thanks boss |

surely22: You want to make it stop? You'd have to change your network provider, then.
The other is: Unstable network >> phone draws more power to try to stabilise it. Stable network >> phone doesn't draw much power.
Therefore; Stable network = More SOT time = Lasting Battery Unstable Network = Less SOT time = Non Lasting Battery Guess I have to switch to MTN since it is Airtel that is causing this... |

surely22: That there is the culprit. It isn't your phones fault, due the network. Network has been quite unstable since after the #ENDSARS protest. So how do I make it stop please... And also can you make me understand how the network is messing it up too I will truly appreciate |

It is like this MIUI 12 is causing more harm than good. Since I upgraded my battery doesn't last again. The one that gets me mad is me leaving charge on my phone before I sleep and it discharging on its own. For example my phone was on 60% before I slept and now waking up I saw 43%. Data was off and all fah. I use a Redmi Note 9s

Some of the Candidates that wrote first session (7am) at my center (Ekiti Anglican Diocesan High School, Ile-Abiye Premises, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State) were left redfaced as many of them were logged out of the session without them attempting upto 15questions out of 100. Exam was set to start by 9am and finish by 10am but 80% of the candidates due to no fault of theirs (the systems we not connecting to the network; so majority had to wait for some to finish and then use theirs) did not start until 5mins to 10; in some cases 10 o'clock. Then all of a sudden, the supervisor says 10mins more, after all complaints and begging they say OK only to start logging people out from the server at 20mins pass 10am leaving some of the candidates stranded and resigning to their fate... |
