dollaflow:Please state your bag size, offer price, type of egusi and location. |
cybug:We communicated. For those who couldn't reach me earlier, the number is now active. You may call preferably before 9am or after 9pm. You can however text/pm at any time and i will reply at my earliest convenience |
Sanitty:. What's prices are we looking at for beans now? Any decline? Brown or white? |
For those who had tried to reach me earlier, i apologise. My line is fully active again and you can reach me now, preferable before 9am or after 9pm. You can always text/pm at any time and i will respond at my convenience Compliments of the season and do have a fulfilled 2017 |
The hand peeled egusi has however done well this year and still stable at 16k a bag, i believe most bought under 12k. For these type of egusi, i will suggest people hold for a while as it should hit 19k. 16k is however is a threshold price as peeling it will give you roughly 40-45 modu which can be sold for 400-450 per modu The pessimistic option still arrives at 16k currently so it's worth holding |
You may have noticed i have not updated in a while. Prices have remained constant and stable. For those who intend to sell their unshelled as is, the best offer i got last week was 25k per bag. If you do have in any of the markets in nasarawa, preferable with proximity to keffi and it's size 32 bag, i can assist in selling off. Offer is only available for this week |
websolushun:I believe you may have been able to settle amicably as @dav8id has refused to comment and you have also been mute. Please lets have an update asap |
websolushun:That's the third person complaining now. @dav8id, please come and defend yourself Will allow him defend himself then i can make comments. |
cybug:Noted. Will revert |
mercifull:Bird eye chillies are the tiny short dry pepper. Super hot and slightly more expensive than the ordinary one. I know it's available in kaduna and plateau. Havent been to kebbi in a while so can't tell. They are much smaller and sometimes neater than the ones in the pix
|
ifeomagodwin75:Currently unreachable on my 07054515851 but it should be active once i hit civilisation again hopefully by thursday. You can pchat and i will add u up via whatsapp. Egusi season is mid way now though but you can learn and prepare yourself for next season |
mercifull:It's been a busy season so it's expected that most people will be busy. Soya is great if you get sub 105/kg and are open to supplying. I can link you for soya supply to any of Jalingo, Yola, makurdi or sagamu. Pepper on the other hand is strictly storage except you have the bird eye chilli which is also exported So the choice is yours now. |
chinwezita:If it's the white face, yes the prices have come down so there is really not cause for concern. However size 27 bag at 13k sounds ridiculous though location dependent. You can wait a little bit longer to exit or you peel and sell to make marginal profit |
chinwezita:You need to confirm which type of egusi you bought (hand peel-able or machine peel-able). Secondly, you need to confirm the current size of the bags they are currently stored in It is not impossible for prices to dip and rise continually within a cycle so extra care must be taken before arriving at a conclusion |
Not good times for egusi sellers. Prices are 24/25k for carry go bags and 28-30k for rebag (UNPEELED WHITE). Demand has however gone up for the peeled and this should influence prices soon enough. Strangely, the price of peeled gradually heads north while the price of unpeeled remains stable. If you have the capacity to peel, you may exit now as demand peaks for the yuletide. Black peeled egusi now trading at a fair premium and exit should guarantee atleast 30% ROI |
enet1:My details are here so you can either call or pchat. Will attend to your inquiries then you can decide based on your interest mapping |
Kunglaw619:330k? My best offer for this week is 285k/ton pickup |
Tyche:Please explore and feed back. Thanks |
lorhema:Apologies for the delay. I only have unprocessed locust beans, still trying to get info on the processed. |
Tyche:Beans isn't even out here yet. How's guinea corn doing there? Any reliable SESAME link? |
Strictly for those within Adamawa, Yola or Guyt and environs. If you can supply soya, minimum of 10 tons, you can pchat or indicate here and i will reach you |
Olayimikami:Who can supply SESAME or have a minimum of 5 tons that i can pickup. Please specify here and i will call. |
Can i have prices for sesame also call beniseed please. Prices should be per kg or ton. If unsure of weight, specify the bag size. Select opportunity also exist if you can do delivery to nasarawa. For supply options, you can either pchat or call |
confluence:Generally, the roads are busier around this period and "boys" will also be on those biz routes. They are aware of purchase routes for different produce in difference zones and step up their game too. Once the yam season peaks, more patrol vehicles will be on those routes so be rest assured. Some routes are more dangerous than others so good understanding of alternative options especially when dark is necessary Ultimately, it is God that protects. The two popular yam markets in Benue are the Ugba and zaki biam markets, i can assure you however that for every big market, there is a cheaper and smaller market May God protect us all |
Prices of most commodities should dip this month. Maize which was scarce is gradually appearing again, at much lower prices. Guinea corn at N180/modu in selected area in kaduna. The only commodity not moving south here is rice, hopefully by the third week in december, it would eventually start its decline. For yam buyers, you may initiate action now. |
Tyche:Thanks for this, pretty timely. Update on beans prices please |
dealerman:I don't do Cray fish and Ogbono but Chilli Pepper weight in at 60kg, Peeled Egusi approx 100kg. Delta for Crayfish, @beauty: This is within your zone, you may please help with the weight |
I'm happy you could try your hands on something new. Since you are new however, will give you some advice otherwise your gain will all be paper profit Variety is what assures you of profit not the size of the yam, always buy good variety that have longer shelf life. Maintenance of the yam purchased is very important otherwise you lose a sizeable amount Yam prices will be low all through now till february so you are likely to have more experienced competitor on the prowl, I inclusive Transportation cost shouldnt exceed 1500 per 100. It even drops lower to 1000 once sales peak. Try to get a bargain as 2500/100 is rather high though location dependent Nice attempt though, i wish you swift sales. |
Since the thread and whatsapp group should have been running for a while, can i ask what varieties you are buying? Which varieties are available in both markets? Any pix ? Which of the yam market in niger do you buy from? Just playing the devil's advocate...... |
farydah:Once you don't exit in dec, next exit is February |
Olayimikami:This is wrong then, thought i saw peeled. Unpeeled is 140/modu for black face and 170/modu for white face |
farydah:Peeled egusi of 60 modu @5500? |
