IDENNAA: Nwakali , for this season , has operated almost entirely from CM or DM , but just to win an argument you had to compare apples and oranges. Why aren't you asking how many goals Ndidi scored this season.
Iwobi is putting up embarrassing performances but you are more concerned about Nwakali who has not touched a ball with SE.
Where is yout sense of logic ? Nwakali is not a defensive midfielder From being better than Aribo now it Iwobi. ;d |

Sometimes, what you call lazy turns out beautiful in another system. The coaches value Kelechi Nwakali. Let us wait and see how they use him. Remember he was brilliant against Atletico Madrid. ATM Match that was played over 3 year ago |

ChrisKels: Boy, no matter what happens, never wish evil or failure your fellow man's hustle, so that evil will never come your way.
Nwakali is pursuing his career and you want him to fail just so you could come here to say "I told you so". You are also pursuing your own career and someone somewhere will prolly be wishing you what you are wishing your fellow guy. So I put it to you, whatever you wish your fellow man shall befall you. Oya say amen to this prayer. There nothing like downfall cause Nwakali style of play is lazy Do you think he could withstand Angiussa of Cameroon in midfield tussle, besides being a little bit creative he is lazy off the ball And he has not done anything reasonable this season to deserve a call up |

Danielnino00: Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. Sequel to my post yesterday where I expressed my intention to take over the responsibility of organising the annual Nairaland Nigeria Football award as requested by Icon4s this year, I'm glad to announce that the award would go ahead as planned, and I'll be coordinating it with Drklever.
Three people from this thread will join the nomination committee alongside me and Drklever, with icon4s being a honorary member.
On this note, members of the thread are to nominate 3 monikers they wish to be part of the committee. Unlike how it was previously done where we would nominate only one moniker, I suggest we nominate 3 each so as to make it more flexible and have more people nominated. Here's how the nomination selection will be sorted; 3 points would be awarded to the first name nominated, 2 points to the second and 1 point to the last. Example: I nominate Danielnino00, Drklever and icon4s. in this case, Danielnino00 will have 3 nomination point, Drklever will have 2 and icon4s will have 1. At the close of the nomination process, the 3 monikers with the most points will be added to the committee. Any moniker that's selected to the committee but doesn't wish to participate for any reason whatsoever will be replaced by the another one from below the top 4. Nomination starts now and close on Monday, December 27th 2021.
Thank you. BascoVanVeli Andrewbaba Philosopher1979 |

seems like the Ousmane Dembele
contract saga has taken a fresh twist if an
update from journalist Jota Jordi is to be
believed. Speaking on El Chiringuito TV, the
journo has sensationally claimed that the
winger has informed Barcelona manager
Xavi Hernandez that he will leave the club at
the end of the season.
The 24-year-old has a little over six months
left on his current contract with Barca. The
club are desperate to tie him down to a new
deal, with president Joan Laporta and
manager Xavi repeatedly insisting in the
media that they see the forward as an
integral part of the future at Camp Nou.
In the past, reports indicated that Dembele,
too, desires to stay put at the Catalan outfit,
but his agent is pushing for the Frenchman
to consider an exit in search of a more
lucrative contract which clubs from the
Premier League are ready to offer.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner will be
entering the last six months of his deal in
January, from which point he will be able to
negotiate over a pre-contract agreement with
clubs from abroad. That is believed to be one
of the reasons why his representative has
been delaying the contract negotiations.
It had previously been claimed that Barca
had given Dembele a deadline till mid-
December to make up his mind on an
extension. And, as per the latest update
from Jota Jordi, it seems like the ex-
Borussia Dortmund ace has indeed come to
a decision on his future, with a free transfer
exit at the end of the season now very much
on the cards.
If true, this will come as a bitter blow for
Barcelona. While he has struggled with
injuries, Dembele has immense potential and
based on his impressive cameo in the
weekend defeat to Real Betis, there were
hopes that the 24-year-old could up his
game under the tutelage of Xavi
