I advise you to get veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery serious with God like committing to Him you and your husband such as going to church, have devotions at home daily etc, and let God save and help you in your marriage.

The bible talks about the contradiction of sinners. For example, Jesus betrayed Jesus with a kiss. Betray implies hate and kiss implies love.

The insanity of man can be seen in church. Inside of the church, they say to greet one another with a holy kiss or hug one another shake hands and give a smile, tell them that you love them. Outside of church, they pass you straight, watch you cold in the face and so on.

So are they stressed all the time? What I just mention is a way of life with them, watching tv, reading newspapers, clicking on the computers etc,

Homework keeps children from watching too much television shows and computer games. TV and computer games shorten their concentration spans for school work.

Thomas Hobbes, the philosopher, gives the pessimistic side of man while Abraham Maslow, an American Psychologist and Philospher, gives the optimistic view of man.

Hobbes described the natural state of man in his "Leviathan" book the famous quotation as "soliltary, nasty, brutish and short". In fact, man's basic human motives are selfish.

Maslow, in his "hierarchy of needs", focused on the human potential believing that humans strive to express their capabilities fully, and that this is the basis for happiness. He explicitly defines self-actualization to be "the desire for self-fulfillment. In fact, that man can reach his potential by going through stages of needs such as food, love and respect.

Which one do you believe to be the real state of man? I personally believe the pessimistic view of man. Even though man may have potentials, he can use his capabilities for selfish reasons or purposes.

Love your enemies, bless them that curse you and pray for them that despitefully use you and persecute you.
Please love your wife because you are to  love the unlovable, the ugly and all the negative things. This is the test of true love, God's kind of love. Agape love. God loves us all even the most ugly.
Challenge yourself to love in this way and then you can say that you have really loved. Please go to church and let God help you through his grace.
Whatsoever things are true, honest, just, good report etc, think on these things. don't think ugly or negative things. Think what God thinks. God sees us perfect through the sacrificial lamb of God. Jesus bore all our infirmities and ugliness. So we are all are nice.

My advice to you is to love her in faith, not on feelings. Faith is not a feeling, but an act. Do what you are supposed to do as a husband in faith and trust god. Both of you go to church and be serious. You are already in this position and you are to stick with it. Ask God to forgive you and to help you.

Can someone tell me of a good decent DVD movie to buy. I've seen "Last Chance Harvey" and "Love and Dancing" they are not ok. Sometimes I feel like looking at a movie but don't want to waste my money on bad ones, such as nudity, obscene language and violence.

Maybe men nag too. But they labelled the women as naggers, not the men.
Men play the fool and so women has to nag or complain.

If men take up their responsibililties or do what they are supposed to do, women will not have to nag. Men don't like it when women talk about the issues. Men just want to have their own way and get away with them.
