Good day mamas in the house hope w3 are doing good.

Pls I have begin noticing this thing that looks like dry skin on my baby's back. Like it comes and goes but now its frequent. I was thinking may the water I do use to birth him is kind of hot or its because he usually sleep on his back but someone came visiting and said its NLA" in Igbo language and ELA in Yoruba laguage and its kinda dries children and make them to look malnourished and it can only be cured with traditional herbs.

I'm kind of scared cos my baby that was chubby before is now kind of skinny. This is not an exaggeration cos he was 6.3kg when we went for 10weeks immunization. Same weight (6.3kg) when we went for 14weeks on wednesday. Which means he didn't even shishi......

Pls is this NLA / EELA if yes how do I go about it. Pls help me out... First time mum is not a joke ohhh small time I don begin worry pls help me out

I don't think it's something to worry about... He would poo... My baby too does same, she takes only breast milk for now and sometimes it takes about 4 days to poo... She might now poo for 2 or 3 consecutive days and go on strike again... I think it's something that comes with taking only breast milk... She passes gas a lot too and sometimes it smells...
You can also talk to a paediatrician about it so that you would rule out any other issues..

Pls my LO refused taking formula for a week now and only feed on breast milk.
My concern is since 3-4 days now he havn't toilet only passes gas that are sometimes smelly ���

Pls is it something I should be worried about??

Good afternoon everyone, please who else is using Gbaja mother and child hospital surulere?do you think this people are serious like this, especially one Dr Smith,I have had 3 appointments and this is the first time she is attending to me and God knows I am not satisfied with her service and all they do here is collect,collect and collect money for every single thing,the initial payment of close to 40k only covers for one scan while in other hospitals you do 3 scans with your initial payment,I am not happy with what they are doing here at all.

Thats the hospital I used.... And Dr. Smith was my doctor nit until delivery time when one nurse misfiled my document and I ended up with another doctor during delivery time.

though its my first time but she is really good as in she knows her onions and people talk well of her. I believe u will met with her like more than twice before ur due date...... As for the billing aspect that's how we see it ohhh

Yes ohhh finally the lord has done it. Is a "beautiful" baby boy � ..... Though the devil really battled but God gave us victory.

Thanks to everyone for ur concern ...... When i brought my case here some mamas suggested I go for elective cs which i find scary then. And being that doctor have already opted for CR (cervical Ripening) hubby will not agree to anything aside doctors opinion .

Was induced on monday evening, on tuesday morning i started seeing blood show and was moved to delivery ward. Labor started around 2pm. At the first check it was progressing 6cm, second check it went back to 3cm. That is how dialation was moving front and back with constant checking (puting hand inside mi VG..... a very horrible experince) for more than 15hrs than I was already tired, and baby too was getting tired.

Dr now advise hubby for emergency CS to save my life and that of the baby that was on wednesday. In all honesty it was a horrible experince being my first time but looking at my Pericous LO it worth it...

In all I give God all the glory.

You will be fine ma. If you are 41 weeks I feel you should opt for elective CS instead of induction, safe delivery.

You should have asked at the hospital what next or better still they should have asked you if you'd like to be induced or you'd opt for elective CS...
I know the catheter is always inserted into the bladder to help with urine passage though I've heard and read it can be used for induction as well. the gloves are used for examination, they wear it on their hands before inserting to check if your cervix is dilating. Saline water should be normal drip water if I'm not mistaken
I'll also suggest you should opt for an elective CS.. don't be afraid and stay strong

Please make sure what she wants to register for is UKVI general training which is 89,500 and it can be done on BC website. The one of 83,000 you talked about earlier is the IELTS standard which Home Office will not accept.

Yes that is where British Council account is domicile. But you can just make payment with your atm card once you have booked a date. Its faster that way.
