I was genuinely surprised at how Dembele celebrated his goal.

He was given an inflated contract of about 300k per week when Batomeu signed him. But he was never fit for the games. His contract along with that of Coutinho, Griezman and some high level funds mismanagement is why we're in financial crises.

When Laporte was re-elected, he wanted to reduce the wage bill and Dembele was still not fit and contract running out. So, Barca sent a reduced offer I think about 150k or 200k per week but Dembele along with his entourage didn't accept this offer but Barca were not interested in going below that offer because Pea size was never available and his football brain sadly doesn't warrant 300k.

He was eventually booed by the home fans during this contract disputes and at the same time, he started putting up some good performances. I think he finished the season strongly with 13 assist in the last 8 games.

With the contract disputes still on and no team willing to sign him even for free, he eventually accepted the reduced contract but on a 2 year deal. He also inserted some crazy clauses like 50% of the fees going to him if he's signed within the two year period .

I think that contract dispute really rattled him. As such, he was angry with the board and may be the fans who booed him at camp nou during the dispute.

I think this could be it, because I don't understand why he'll Adebayor us like that!

The aim of the DM in my agenda was to come in, calm the game down, help in blocks and pure defensive actions but he did more than I asked for.
