Contrary to what many here think, the note 7 fiasco is not going to bring samsung down. Yes it has affected their stock for now but they will bounce back. Note 7 will be back and samsung will probably throw in some incentives. They have come a long way and they haven't stopped innovating like blackberry and Nokia did. So maybe galaxy s8 will make things better for them. They just have to work twice or 3 times more now to make the next flagship blow people's mind away. I don't mean blow like explosion oh lol.

As for the size, 5.2 inch is the perfect size for me, I can manage 5.7 inch so far it is a galaxy note. I don't like the iphone plus series because they are just too big. 5.5 inch and still looks bigger than a galaxy note with 5.7 inch if u know what I mean. Isn't s7 edge 5.3 inch?

I'm just looking at what samsung can change next year because their current flagship design is just too sweet. Don't be surprised if the s8 turns out to be minor upgrade, though I can see them going dual rear camera to take advantage of optical zoom.

The note 7 fiasco really affected Samsung and the phone itself cos it's an all round beast.

5 2 is the sweet spot honestly but like you said one wouldn't mind going further if it's NOTE series. S7 edge is actually 5.5 but feels smaller thanks to the engineering achievement with its dual curved edges which makes it compact.

Dual camera will come on board, they have produced it for some China oems already. Some couple of great internals will follow suit but that design is just something I don't know what it will be but I'm sure they are cooking something.

I don't know what Samsung did but I always notice downloading on Samsung flagships are always faster than on other phones. U can see from the video S7 was getting 210mbps download in speed test while the iPhone 7 was maxing at 150mbps on the same wifi. Even the dude was like it must be an error, he tested again and iPhone couldn't get past 150mbps.

I think I'm buying the s7 edge. From all reviews and from my contact with people that own it looks like the battery is solid. 3,600mah is a big upgrade from 2,550 on the s6.

Well you can say that again. I said something similar last month that my phone was faster on the same smile wifi compared to a friends 6s

You should check out the video where the s7 edge was connected to Internet under water and the screen was also functioning. All these worked flawlessly .


Btw, it's a big upgrade if you are willing to handle the size. It's not really big anyways cos of the design. I would chill for S8 edge or Note 8.

I just watched the video and I'm impressed with the performance of the s7 edge. Did u actually watch the video till the end? It doesn't show the s7 is faster, both had their moments. Some apps are not yet optimized for iOS 10 yet and sometimes it looked like the s7 is faster because of the animations in ios 10. Both devices had their moment and kept apps in memory just equally.

Again like I said previously, I don't care if a phone opens app faster than the other by milli seconds, or benchmarks because in this video it shows iPhone 7 beats the s7 edge by miles in benchmark. I want performance in real life day to day usage. But if we are judging by this video u posted, it shows the iPhone 7 is a little bit faster.

Did you also notice s7 edge was kinda faster with stock apps but all in all. A few seconds speed doesn't change anything anyways.

Even at that you can never compare android and ios directly,they both run on completely entirely diff architecture,we understand that android process is more complex that whatever ios presents,apple has optimized there software to the fullest,that is why the video about the iphone 6 and note 7 you posted earlier was a big flop,we all know ahspalt 8 on android can be as large as 1.8gb but the same game on ios might be 700mb,ios has better app optimization hence the reason they dont need much gb of ram,but no matter how many gbs of ram a droid has,it would still lag,mayb na curse i nor even sabi

Regarding lags, all phone lags. The most recent iPhone 7 and 7 plus lags. If someone tells you ios devices doesn't lag, he is simply lying.

Steve Jobs argued against the QWERTY keyboard by saying the QWERTY keyboard was always there even when it is not needed and hence his first statement for making the iPhone was with a soft keyboard. Apple are far more intelligent than you. They will not put a feature in a device just for it to occupy space and not serve any purpose. They are not one of those Chinese OEMs for crying out loud! If they feel they need extra RAM they will add it but what is the need for the extra RAM when the existing 2GB functioning flawlessly or have you seen any iPhone or iPad that lags? See Apple don't reason the way Android OEMs reason. They are for iNNovation and when they add a feature trust me that feature has got to be put to use fully. The iPhone 7 plus has 3GB RAM because of the increasing source demands of the dual camera system "Per Apple".

Bros, u can do more work on a tablet than a mobile phone. At least that's what apple wants us to believe which is actually true. For example the split screen is useful for when editing pictures or doing some light video stuff with iMovie or when u want to watch a video and do other things at the same time. One thing comes to mind.... screen real estate. Are these things possible on a mobile phone? Yes but how effective and convinient is it? U will be damned to think split screen on a Samsung flagship phone and iPad Air 2 are the same. The difference is very clear. I've used both, I tend to use the split screen all the time on the iPad while I never used it on a Samsung phone.

having split screen on a 4.7 inch phone is as pointless as having an on screen keyboard on a smart watch or having 6gb of ram on oneplus 3. Like u know I am currently using infinix hot s, it doesn't have split screen but do I miss that feature? NEVER. There are lots of other things I miss but not the split screen.

I'm presently using split screen functionality at the moment and it's working pretty well. I can easily switch between apps. I'm replying you likewise whatsapping. Now the question is, can't the current crop of iphones do just that?

Isn't 4.7 iPhone of the same size with some 5 inchers while the 5.5 iphone is almost same size with 6inch nexus 6. You can blame Apple for poor screen estate

The only difference between the 7 and 7 plus is the camera and screen size/resolution. If it isn't one then it is the other.

RAM on a desktop is beyond photography. Photoshop like other apps have a minimum hardware configurations before you can Install and all that. On the iphone it's just a camera which is produced as part of the phone by the producer and works outta the box. The dual camera still doesn't beat the competition rather it was well beaten

Apple should get their acts together and begin innovating again.

You and I both know the extra 2GB is just marketing and it's working for them. LeEco gonna launch a 8GB next week. Yippee!!

Umm... I had split screen functionality on my s6 but I never for once used it. Why? Because it is not convenient. If t is not convenient on a 5.2 inch phone then why would it be convinient on a 4.7 inch phone? Yes 750p sucks and I hate that, but again what really matters is the ppi. 326 is not as bad as having 720p display on a 5.5 inch phone. It wouldn't hurt to make it 1080p though but to be sincere having qhd display on a 4.7 inch phone is an overkill. The iPhone 7 should be having 1080p while the 7 plus should be qhd.

With the optimization of iOS, bros don't be surprised split screen will work flawlessly with 2gb of ram, at worst 3gb of ram.

Yh you didn't make use of it doesn't mean millions don't. Now you get it, incremental changes is what people kick Apple for. It's been stated that dual camera will remain on the plus version and the extra RAM will likely follow same path. The only Apple move device with split screen is the iPad air two and it's got 4GB ram. Why didn't they equip it with 2GB and optimise the shot outta it to make it work flawlessly ?

Moreover the oneplus 3 has 1080p. What is it doing with all that ram?

I never said updating to ios 10 isn't possible. I simply stated some peeps are encountering issues and T mobile informed her subscribers using those phones not to update yet

Well you are wrong. Some users as presently experiencing issues and CEO John Legere, and CTO Neville Ray told users of iPhone 6, 6plus and 5SE not to update. Apple should get their acts together regarding software update. It's just few devices yet every update causes one or two issues.
