What about those people that did not receive email? are they attending to them too?
LeoFish92:

I've finished my screening, see crowd for Enugu, up to 3000, and an official told me it's just 500 Bsc They will take nationwide, meaning about 15 per state..and when you remember the ogas at the top will be given slots, makes you wonder... Hehe

Don't know about other states but medical and fitness report wasn't even asked here, and yes you can wear the rubber, that was what I wore.

Hint for those going on other days, better go very early, the screening process is extremely slow, like snaily slow, everything I'm talking about is for my centre in Enugu, these things could differ in other states... Cheers!

Politics / [NEWS] Archbishop Of Canterbury Reveals What He Told Buhari In London by ollyfessy(m): 11:32am On Apr 12, 2018
The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, has revealed that “the complex security situation in Nigeria” was on the agenda, when he was hosted by President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday in London, UK .

The Nigerian Presidency had earlier circulated a statement detailing what it said both men discussed.

The update by Welby was accompanied by a photograph showing him presenting a copy of his book, “Reimagining Britain: Foundations For Hope”, to Buhari

FULL STATEMENT BY THE ARCHBISHOP:

It was an honour to meet President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria in London today. We discussed the complex security situation in Nigeria and their government’s efforts to address it, and I offered support in seeking a sustainable solution to the herder-farmer conflict.
I expressed deep concern about the suffering resulting from raids on Christian communities and villages as far south as Delta State. We discussed the causes of such depredations, which have led to very many deaths and threaten an escalation of violence. I urged measures to restore confidence in the neutrality of the state, and spoke of the suffering of the poor in such tragedies.

I also raised the urgent situation of Leah Sharibu – the 14-year old Dapchi Christian school girl still held captive by Boko Haram for refusing to convert to Islam – and urged the President to do everything possible to secure her release.

I briefed President Buhari about my pastoral visit to Nigeria in 2014 following the abduction of the Chibok girls, and assured him of my continued prayers for the release of all those still in captivity. The President promised that the Government would do all in its power to secure their release.

No country or society can flourish without excellent education – so it was good to speak with the President about how education helps tackle poverty. I highlighted the vital role that churches in England play not just in educating a million children, but in providing them with values, identity and purpose.
Please join me in standing prayerfully with those suffering from the herder-farmer conflict, the Boko Haram insurgency, and all those mourning the loss of loved ones. It’s so important that we pray for the peace and progress of Nigeria – and particularly for the liberating peace of Jesus to be with all those held in captivity.

Politics / Shocking Revelations:election May Not Hold In 2019 -apostle Adeyeye by ollyfessy(m): 11:23am On Apr 12, 2018
Apostle Jeremiah Adeyeye, General Overseer, Clear Revelation Ministry (CRM), Ibadan, Oyo State, has revealed that 2019 elections may not hold in Nigeria.

The clergyman warned that Federal Government’s failure to stop herdsmen killings, kidnapping, militancy, insurgency may stop the 2019 elections.
Speaking with The Sun, Adeyeye also warned that series of events would occur this year that may lead to a state of anarchy in Nigeria if care was not taken.

According to Adeyeye, “If the situation in the country continues like this, Nigeria will be at war before 2019. So, any nation that is not at peace, will any election hold there?

“If there is anarchy, the police may not be able to put it under control in time, even some security agents will join forces with their ethnic groups in the pandemonium.

“I am not sure if we have up to 300,000 policemen in Nigeria, let alone Nigerian Army, Nigerian Air Force, Nigerian Navy, and other paramilitary agencies. And we have a population of close to 200 million.

“If anarchy starts today, and security agencies want to work, how many people can they detain and how many people can be kept in various prisons? Nigeria needs somebody who fears God.”

Speaking on the cabals in the Presidency, the clergyman said, “Three people need to put their heads together and save the country. They are a nephew to President Muhammadu Buhari, Mamman Daura; Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari and Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN).

“Those who hold Aso Rock and elders of the North should put their heads together if Nigeria will be one before the 2019 general elections. God is angry because of innocent blood being shed in this country on daily basis.

“Those at the corridors of power, especially those they call the cabal, their people will not welcome them when their secrets are revealed to the whole world. North will split into many parts and they will not be able to come together as one again if this trend continues. There are many things to say, if they are ready to listen and hearken to God’s instructions.
“I have been warning Nigeria since 2007. Lord opened my eyes to see that there are secrets that are hidden in the presidency. The three persons I mentioned have mouths and whatever they like to quench in the presidency, will be quenched. If they want it to be, it will be.

“Before 2019, Nigeria will shake. What they are planning for this country is quite different from God’s plan.”

Crime / Boko Haram: Air Force Launches Air Strikes On Sect Locations [VIDEO] by ollyfessy(m): 5:07pm On Apr 10, 2018
The Air Task Force of Operation LAFIYA DOLE, in a combined operation with the Nigerien Air Force, yesterday launched a coordinated air strike on Boko Haram Terrorists (BHT) locations at AREGE and TUMBUN RAGO in Borno State.

Air Vice Marshal Olatokunbo Adesanya, NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, made the announcement in a statement on Tuesday

He said the successful attacks followed reports received sequel to an Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission conducted by an aircraft belonging to Nigerien Air Force, which revealed BHT activities at AREGE and TUMBUN RAGO.

“Consequently, the ATF detailed Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Alpha Jet and F-7Ni aircraft to conduct Air Interdiction strikes on the locations while the ISR aircraft from Niger provided necessary support and also conducted Battle Damage Assessment (BDA).

“The subsequent BDA revealed that during the first wave of attacks at AREGE, several vehicles belonging to BHTs were totally destroyed, killing all the occupants in the process. Furthermore, the NAF fighter aircraft neutralized fleeing BHTs in subsequent waves of attack.

“Thereafter, NAF fighter aircraft and the ISR aircraft from Niger again combined to successfully attack BHT locations at TUMBUM RAGO. The combined operations by the air forces of both countries are part of renewed efforts at clearing BHT elements from their known locations in Northeast Nigeria”, the statement concluded.

Travel / Secret Of Giving Birth Abroad- Things You Need To Know (PART I) by ollyfessy(m): 5:34pm On Apr 08, 2018
Ninety nine percent of Nigerians desire to give birth to their babies abroad with the

USA being the choice destination. Whether it’s due to the poor health infrastructure

leading to high maternal mortality rates in the country or because of the wider

opportunities that an American citizenship will give their American born babies, no

matter the reason, it is fast becoming a status symbol leading to more families

exploring the option.

Want to have your baby abroad too? Here are key things you need to know to aid your

decision.

1. VISA REQUIREMENTS

With a tourist/visitors Visa, you are eligible to deliver your child abroad (Yes, you

read right. You don’t need a medical visa). Once you have employment/business and

family ties in Nigeria showing you intend to return and you also present bank

statements proving you can afford to cover all the expenses for your trip, there’s a

high possibility that you will be granted a visa.

Gone are the days when you needed to apply for your visa before your pregnancy or

wear a kaftan and lie about not being pregnant when you’re 30 weeks gone. Be honest

and upfront with the visa officer. Once they certify you have sufficient funds to

cover all medical expenses and will not be a ward of the Government, you’ll be granted

a visa. More honest people I know got their visas than dishonest people.

Religion / Re: Jesus Is The Only Way: My Personal Experiences by ollyfessy(m): 11:35am On Nov 26, 2017
Originakalokalo:

I have read the scriptures and by the grace of God, I have the understanding.

Before I introduce you to some scriptures, lemme share my personal experiences with you.

In June, I slept in the afternoon. I saw a man, who told me that my sister is going to die.

That " They" have seen her struggles. That there is no amount of prayer that can stop it. I was warned not to bother praying.

That it is time to come and rest.

I was in 1st semester of my masters degree program.

In the dream, I was told that this passing on shall happen before we resume.

I woke up and discussed with my wife. I didn't understand the meaning of " before we resume." The school was on session.

End of July, we went on a strike.

On September 13, I got a call from home.

My daddy died in an accident.

On 18, The six weeks strike was called off.

We resumed. My sister is still alive.

Let's analyse this dream

1Corinthian 1:18. Do not allow anybody to discourage you on divine project given to you my dear brother.God is about to use you mightily more than the way he has worked in the life of your Father.

Ososo town is located in Akoko Edo local government area of Edo state.
Ososo has its own customs and tradition just like every other town in Nigeria One of the Ososo most valued tradition is Obikho (Womanhood Tradition).

The obikho festival is very important and significant in ososo kingdom. Obikho which is simply referred to as initiation of girls to womanhood and usually carried out yearly on girls attaining maturity, whereby the girl in question is kept in the house for seven days without getting involved in carrying out domestic house work.

This period is also referred to as the holly period .The young girls prove their virginity by walking naked in the town and even market places, whereby this maiden will get their suitors, however this depends solely on individual choices.

On the last day of this sanctification (holly period) the maiden popularly called obikho is escorted in naked to a designated place where the final traditional rites takes place and this marks the end of the obikho as it is done once in life time and it is compulsory for every female child of the town.
Note that this writer up is a summary and not a comprehensive explanation about obikho in ososo kingdom. Read more ...
