Small tip: If you follow what Oga Agba, and the rest of the doomsayers on this platform say, you will just be playing yourself. Do your proper due diligence on stocks, monitor macro-economic trends, recent company results, etc. Never go by what the doomsayers say.
which one be doomsayers? what was your view when they made those prediction? Their projection was based on the result released so far and the dividend history of the company. Please don't discourage anyone from post there view on this thread.

I have started to have a lot of respect for him, he has called it right twice since I know him. He did it in Jan 2018 and also in Jan 2020 for people to exit the market. The guy is truly Oracle, I come they fear may be the guy truly get shrine for Nnewi wey hin dey consult always to know when to come into the market/exit the market .

The two calls were right and he made it when everybody weas carried away with the bull. Am waiting for his stock outlook for the remaining part of the year and Oga CP individual stock pick.

You know why I personally wasnt comfortable with Oga Rabbi's submissions was that, he encouraged people to key-in to these banking stocks, even when Agba and some few others were saying otherwise, more people went with him.
......but what happened? He made a sudden U-turn, thereby making some to lose some fund out of Panic.
He should understand that quite some people believed in him so much.
When Agba was saying opposite, maybe if he had looked well into it, it wouldnt have been like this.
Just saying though.

Oga Oracle says stay on banks because banks tend to lead during bull and are liquid stocks.
If u follow oracle post well. He used to say he is a fat man and cannot be struggling with tiny people as the exit gate, thus he sold some percentage of his stock early before everybody start selling.

To the newbies:

You have never seen driven a car before and you are given a car, will you jump into it and drive the car at once? You will panic! You could crash immediately!

Why then should you just come into stock market and want to drive off? Without knowing the 'controls' that will aid you to move? Without having the knowledge about the market? You will panic! You could crash immediately!

Leave the market at once and go and study. After studying and asking pertinent questions, then you can be sure that you understand the market very well and emotionally ready to battle in this arena. On this arena, you can gain fast and lose very fast.

If you are promised lots of percentages if you invested for 1 year, ask them about those who bought Fidelity at 4.3, FCMB at 3.60, Zenith at 40, GTB at 56, in early 2018. Till today, they are yet to recover. This brings to fore the question of PATIENCE! Will you be patient enough to wait if your capital erodes rapidly or will you sell at a loss?

You could be lucky and enter a stock and in 1 week, you are at 50% gain. As a newbie, you will want to go for the same stock grin and buy higher hoping that it will keep rising, the experienced ones will be selling by then. And you will be the one carrying their kaya(loads of shares).

You need tons of knowledge about the workings of this particular market, timing of entry, and control of greed and fear. You can learn the first 2 by studying but you can't learn the last (control of greed and fear) by stuyding.

Always learn from the experience of others so that you can be alive to tell the tale!

Good advice. Thanks

After reading previous pages and further research, I have Considered ETI@7.8, WAPCO@15, Caverton@2.91, FBNH@7.25, FCMB@1.92.

Bosses in the house, please are the stock listed above good Buys and okay at the current price?

Thanks in anticipation.

Just buy the two recommended by Oga Emmanuelewumi.

Messi and Suarez's lack of pressing is seriously hurting this team. It will be a miracle if we win any trophy with the way this bastard dey coach us.

That is the truth. we only have possession but do nothing with it. We need to attack more and create chances

Rule number 1: Don't fall in love with stocks

Rule number 2: Even if a stock (based on FA) is wonderful and signals a buy, TA will still be showing sell. And I think the TA people are more than the FAs. So just use the chart and buy into a wonderful company at a low price.

Thanks for these rules

Why would Barca be finished? Because you said so? Baba go and sleep. You know nothing about football and club management.

Enjoy Messi while you still can and stop drinking panadol for another person headache.
club management you say, na so arsenal own start, they are still on it till date. We need a player that can carry the team now before messi leaves. Any long injury to messi this season means end of season for barca.

If not for Messi no goal for Barcelona? Wtf!!!
Is Messi not a Barcelona player?? Is Messi playing for himself or what?
While Messi is still playing football, we will continue to depend on him for leadership and goals.

BS lipsrsealed
If messi no play today, who else would have initiated attack and score. Post messi era go bad, if barca continue to depend on only him. At least there should be a player, that can carry the team in case messi is injured. Any long injury to that guy, barca is finished.

One question we should always ask before buying any stock is,"if i were being paid my retirement benefit today, would i /can i ,put all in this stock at the current price"

This is one strong checklist for me,and once i have the slightest doubt about this, infact Usain Bolt no fit catch me.

That is a strong question I will be asking myself before I buy any stock now. FBN of today no dey that category. The bank is where some people collect there national cake at the expense of shareholders. Retirement money can not be invested on hope.

In this bear market, I cannot see Zenith at 16 and be pursing Transcorp if there fundamental remain the same. Presently I can only gamble money I can afford to lose on Transcorp base on rumor going round. If the big news come, na another story we go dey hear.

This is the rate I got from stanbic today. I think it's quite low. Especially the 356days

139days--12.50%
356days-12.25%
76day---13.5%
