Yes he did. But not being on the chopping block killed his game. His fans don't even know his strength, so can't judge. He too thinks not being up for eviction is helping his game. He had the opportunity to be in the shoes of Ilebaye, but chose to avoid confrontations or does something unique to stand out. BBNaija does not reward passersby, because to me, he's just a passerby.

He doesn't have any form of confidence because he was the first to be evicted in his season and that was six years ago. Many BBN fans of today didn't watch see Gobbe. In fact, Soma came with zero fans. I was even surprised he got called considering the fact that his season had more vibrant contenders. He feels the best way to stay safe is by avoiding nominations. His case is similar to that of Neo, only that Soma at least puts in some effort and he's in a depressing ship that most people are paying attention to
