A Star is Born is a well written emotional romance musical drama. I loved every breadth of that movie, but our choices differs, so I'm not surprised you don't like movie. The drama genre is a genre most Nigerians I've related with find boring.

I'm one of those people that prefer tightly plotted slow burns to high-octanes with plot holes the size of Australia. With slow burns, there's just enough time to develop the characters, the story, and exposition.

I haven't o, and I won't. That movie franchise seems likes a jump-scare haven and I'm highly scared of such movies.

The Nun has to be one of the best horror movies i've ever watched. I haven't seen Hereditary and Apostle though. Are they any good?

Hereditary was a boring horror movie. Its message lost in the sleep-inducing time-wasting mechanism the director employed in the first one hour of the movie. A movie that took so much valuable time to build up its storyline, only for the ending to be very basic. Compare it with The Others whose build up matched the unexpected ending. It's worth the wait. Hereditary still employed jump scare towards the end to salvage what had been a total waste of time. If that movie was scripted well, it'd have achieved its aim within 1hr 30mins instead of the 2hrs borefest. Mtcheew.

Meh, The Nun is average. Jump-scares don't scare me. Hereditary has far more quality. Apostle is pretty good too, although I'm not a fan of the shoddy ending.

Yes, all related. Its the same Nun that appeared in all. According to the Franchise, The Nun happened before the Conjuring and the rest. Valek is the name of the demon. Only possessed one of the nuns, as shown in the beginning of The Nun movie (reason for the movie tag)

The ending of the Nun shows the beginning of The Conjuring 2. But it's kinda disjointed (which is intentional) and trust there's more to come due to the loophole to tell us more on it (Esp how Lorraine Warren is related to the main female character in The Nun)

Though, the Nun is fictitious (the demon exists though), unlike The Conjuring and Annabelle.

I don't think there will be a sequel. Remember they showed the French guy (20 years later) receiving exorcism.

The movie is connected to 'the Conjuring' movies. They even showed the couple from 'The Conjuring' movie giving a lecture at the ending scenes
