Melonne: Hello All,
Has anyone had this issue before? A friend just got rejected because according to them the planned budget for a trip to the UK is 7.5 times more than the persons monthly expenditure - NOT INCOME OH!
I’ve never heard of this before. This person makes a very good salary of about 500k as take home. Monthly expenses is average of 200k, leaving a saving of 300k each money. Planned budget was 1.5m (ticket, hotel, feeding, accommodation and sightseeing were all broken down and estimated) for about 2 weeks.
That was the only reason. No mention of income being insufficient. Just that one reason that doesn’t make sense. This person has a managerial role in a well established financial institution.
The only thing I can assume is that the person has never travelled out of the country at all. Never even attempted, but no mention was made of that in the rejection.
Documents submitted:
Job intro letter 6 month statement Cover letter Letter from relatives acknowledging that person is known and will return. Leave letter Rent agreement
Anyone have experience with this? share the refusal letter so that gurus will help you with it |

Cyberknight: Visit Dubai/Kenya and meet this fabled female friend in person for the first time as well as starting to build up travel history, but you'll need a lot more than that to scale through the UK visa process in your present circumstances. As the previous poster advised, you will just have to exercise a whole of a lot more patience before you make another attempt. thanks so much boss |

OmoBendel24: Desperate packaging infers strong migrant intent....
Seems no one is willing or able to tell you, but I will! Go build ties, genuinely. If you won't heed, you will only just be wasting your money for now, and probably get yourself in trouble with them, maybe stroll into a ban out of desperation. Go see Dubai for now while at ties building....
One last thing, if granted this your much desired visa to the UK, what can you show will bring you back home? You have misfired the first time applying, what you have left now is to rebuild with patience. Regards thanks so much it was my white female friend that want me to come but I will make sure I buy land in my village can that serve as tie to my country? Do you mean I should visit Dubai to have travel history? |

alert20: hi, sorry for the refusal.... ekpotek said it all.. you shouldn't have declare your employment status, you should have just said you are a student and submit documents . the Eco thinks you just want to use this travel as an immigration intent thinking you will not come back home. my advice is for you to work on your home ties eg. better salary, statement of account with good balance, try and work on this for 6months, but if you think you can't wait and want to re-apply then make sure you submit a cover letter explaining your financial and personal circumstances..
as per the immigration lawyer, forget it its just a waste of time and money consumption... thanks boss |
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Olugerm(m): 8:21pm On Aug 22, 2018 |
ekpotek: Sorry about the refusal. The ECO is concern about your finances and personal circumstances in Nigeria which makes you an immigration intent with high potential of overstay. There is no appeal and I would not encourage you to reapply unless your situation change significantly. Continue to keep in touch with your white friend and hopeful you can try again next year. thanks boss I really appreciate your response pls what are the finances and personal circumstances cos I summited almost everything abt me abt the travel history can I travel to any Africa country like Ghana |

solaiphones: Bro sorry for your refusal. This uk people wicked gan they just dey spoil person plan My observation, at the beginning you shouldn’t have mentioned you are employed 17k is very small amount of money as a salary you should have said you are a student not working. Then make sure your account balance is fat with a good inflow and outflow. You might be considered. If i may ask how much do you have in your bank statement as closing balance when you submitted your application? thanks 98k but the 17k not really reflect in account and I have inflow and out flow of money |
