Gudevnin good people of this good page. I really want to thank the great GOD of Isreal, and the people of nziraland. Submitted my passport and documents on 27th august at ikeja, and I just got my passport back with d visa. One reason am very happy is dt I was denied a USA student visa last year fro my masters, so I felt so discouraged that it might affect dis current applicatiin. I almost didnt include in my UK application that I have a previous denial from USA. But thank GOD I said d truth, and today recieved one of the hardest visas to get. All d best to all those expecting. And for those who are contemplating if they should lie about previous refusals, please just tell the truth and present ur case well, first to GOD, then to the embassy, shalom
Congratulations I'm happy for you.. Pls what type of visa did you applied for and the documents you summited

Hello house! My dependant was denied his visa and applied for an administrative review. The review was successful and decision overturned.
Please I would like to know (1) how long it takes UKVI to ask you to send your passport for visa stamp? (2) how long does it take for visa to be stamped and passport returned.
Your responses will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
how did you applied for the administrative review?

Lol. I see no reason why I will be denied UK visa.

I go there in October every year (since few years now). My company's Head Office is in the UK.

I dont even submit bank statements or payslips.

Just a letter fom my company that they will fund the trip and a printout of the email between me and my British boss (who is in London office) on why I should come.

And I have travel history to other countries in addition to a decent income confirmed by my employer.

I don't even think of being refused visa to UK.

If your visa is rejected, you can appeal.
If your Dad is a citizen, submitting all is documents (bills & payslips) may increase your chances of getting the visa approved.
N. B If he is not claiming benefits from the govt because the govt does not like granting visa's to applicant who will be a burden to them or to tax payer

I don't see any reason why I should attach bank statement when my company has written that it will foot the entire costs.

The only time I use bank statement is when it's a private visit to the UK.

I don’t agree with your points. Do you think it’s easy for any Nigerian youth without a strong political connection to achieve all what you said in your second paragraph” Starting a business or getting a job that pays big“ I’m sure in the next 10 years this young man can’t satisfy the British High Commission. So please stop discouraging him. And I’m sure most of the peope advicing people to stay back in this country are not in Nigeria, why can’t you stay and make it in Nigeria.
I’m even regretting it that I didn’t move out of the country when i was young. This habbit is common among abroad based Nigerian to discourage people not to come. We all know the truth Nigeria is not a better place for youth to hussle.
My advice to you as i have said earlier,@gberm this oyinbo people don’t want youths especially blacks in their country even if you have 10m in your account they will still refused you so far you are a young boy. They are just ripping off Nigerians of their money. If it’s compulsory you must meet your white friend tell him to consult an immigration lawyer over there to challenge their refusal decision this may cost you lot of money but it worth it i now what I’m saying. I’m been there for months even my grandma went there she doesn’t want to return again. Please let be sincere
thank you so much bro I really appreciate your advice it really motivate me . You're right cos I've been thinking of what to but no way to satisfy those UK embassy like u said even in next five years

Dude. Stop rushing to apply for a visa with your current circumstances. If you are desperate like this, you will likely get yourself on a 10year ban. In the end, you will even lose your "white friend".

You are young. You are ambitious. That is a good thing. For now, focus on building a better economic situation for yourself. E.g. Starting a business or getting a job that pays big. Heck, you might need to wait few years, but it's better that way.

If you absolutely want to see your UK friend, that is easy. Get her to visit you in Nigeria. Alternatively, you can save up money and go on holiday to Ghana or even the UAE with your friend and enjoy each others company.

Build a relationship with your friend. If it leads to something more serious, in the next few years, you'll be ready (because your circumstances would have changed) and it will be easier to get a visa.

Trust me, if you rush and have the "I want a visa now" mentality and you get yourself banned, five years from now, you will look back at your stupidity and wish you listened to everyone on this forum.

Have you noticed that the people who get visa the most are those who are not desperate to leave Nigeria?

I hope you'll listen to my advise. I am giving it because I was once young like you. Ride on the shoulders of the giant here. Do the right thing.
thanks so much God bless

You are still not getting it.... By hand oh, by leg oh, by back pocket oh, by bank account oh, is it not the 17k still, abi? But it is clear to the blindest of us here that nothing tangible holds you to Nigeria, and that you will never come back if granted the visa. What then? You must deliberately and patiently create or allow your ties grow to the level were neither us nor professionally trained visa officers will see through this. Simple!

I see you have plans and are counting mostly on what you can achieve now and later through your "white friend", and that of course is even a major hurdle to this your visa pursuit. Greetings
thanks so much boss

There’s a way you can do it but it will cost you money. First tell you white friend to take the issue to her MP and get you an immigration lawyer as well. Do let it be long. This technique has work for many in your case if you get rejected apply immediately and correct the errors
thanks so much cos I've been thinking of how to sort everything , I hope this work for me ...pls what does MP mean
