Politics › Re: Dogara Fails To Settle Saraki, Presidency Rift by Olukat(m): 9:06am On Oct 09, 2015
TGM2015:
This is why Saraki emergencies as Senate president was opposed initially by the APC Leaders. One thing I personally believe is that all Nigerian politician are corrupt but some are less corrupt, more corrupt and chronic corrupt. Saraki is a chronic unrepentant corrupt politician and the fears of him being charged to court for PDP to disgrace APC was the initial rejection of him (unfortunately the charges came from APC). Now they want to use their constitutional right to negotiate with the executive to secure protection for all the past corrupt activities, which was the initial motive of PDP Senators to rally support for Saraki.

But I believe Buhari should clearly get it that he was overwhelmingly voted for, for his stand against corruption (as over 70% of vote cast for are genuine against Jonathan whose over 50% of vote cast for his was fraud).

Can Anybody give me one reason why we should politicize this tragedy; Can anybody argue the Nigerian government is not winning the war on terrorism? Come to think of it as an individual just like the US shooter... If you chose to take your own life and you are very sure you are, You can take 200 or more nigerians with you and am very sure nobody will stop you until you do the damage. I have hopes the government will win the war. That is not to say Tragedie like this will not occour every once in a while. Its painful but its the fact. If i personaly want to do wht these terrorists are doing interms of suicide bombings i doubt if i wil be stopped except directly by God. The explosive are not carried by Containers and Cranes but in small bags or even strapped to the body. How can any government catch dem all? You can only Degrade them. The nigerian government is degrading them.

[quote author=tenry post=38321994]Please what does it take to run a modern governance? Put differently, what is modern democracy? Attending a UN meeting with 600 delegates is modern democracy? What did they bring from those meetings in 4 years? Guy, don't just come here to type any nonsense that comes to your mind. To say you are clueless is an understatement, you have no knowledge of what we are talking about here. I guess u just came across the word 'modern governance' and u decided to impress mumu people like yourself.
Your stupidity is legendary! I don't need to see you physically before I conclude the kind of confused human being you will be with mundane or pedestrian argument which could be better passed to the mediocre. You haven't answered my question of modern governance ooo. Just be parading popular opinion abt lateness in forming cabinet as if u understand what u ar talking about. Illiterate who propagate what is in d public domain as if he has his own clear argument on d matter.
[/q

It's really sad that we cannot exchange ideas in a polite manner about how our country is govern.
Do you have to insult him because his opinion differs?
Now let's talk about the six hundred delegates(if its true)
Nigeria is a country in search of opportunity, investment, growth etc
often times, our leaders would arrange to visit countries for bilateral discussion on trade, investment, security and so on
In each of such trips the delegates maybe about 70 or less
Now, think about where there's a gathering of over a hundred nations, business men and women and endless investment opportunities.
With a time frame of about a week or so
Don't you think it's reasonable to prepare different groups of delegates(at least 5/persons) to engage other nations in discussions
considering the fact that time its of essence and cost saving too.
This media governance its getting out of hand, its time we make it real!
Bless you
