Morocco has Ziyech and Hakimi. Their number 1 GK plays for Sevilla.

Senegal has 2 GK that play for top clubs in france and england. Koulibaly is better than every defender we have at the moment. Sadio Mane is better than all the forwards we have.

Algeria has a solid GK plays in france. Mahrez better than any winger we have at the moment. Bennacer that plays for AC Milan better than any CM we currently parade.

All this i've mentioned of the top of my mind so please enlighten me how are they not ahead of us?

pound for pound Senegal, Morocco and Algeria are ahead of us. Ivory Coast is roughly on the same talent level as us with Mali and Ghana not far behind

very invalid/Inaccurate Statement. Pound for pound, Algeria Don't have a better Squad than Us but their present Coach made a huge difference at them winning ANC. Pound for Pound, Senegal has the strongest 11 but not the strongest Team.

world class coach may change nothing. This is national team not club where a world class manager comes and starts buying good players. In the NT you are only as good as your players are. You only do a little amount to change things. I hope Rohr goes soon so that we can see how average we are. The way people are talking, you will think that we have won the world cup before.

The Super Eagles have played all their matches for 2020, and to crown up all our analyses on Nigerian Players for the entire year, it is time for us to select players who have made more Impact than the others in various categories.

And, like it has always been, we need to nominate Monikers who will come up with the list of players in the various categories. Then, the entire house will do the voting.

I'm responding to the guy that said coach should guarantee a WC R8 and ANC win. Omo with the kind of players that we have, nothing is guaranteed

My guy if Rohr contract stipulated that he must Win "Anc" or Termination and he fails to Win Anc then there's a reason for Termination. Also, Any team from Algeria, Senegal, Nigeria, Egypt, ivory coast can win ANC. Also, He can also Qualify us from World cup although i don't think it might be effortlessly. My own is that you should create a contract for a coach and make sure he understands that contract. If he fails to meet his contractual goal, then SACK him. But, I dont support sacking a coach based on things not on his contract.
For example: even if rohr Lose 20 0 to sierra leone and his contract says that he must qualify for ANC. As long as he qualify us for ANC, he achieved his goal. Mind you, I am very disappointed in some of his selections i.e ahmed musa, Akpoguma at RB or his lack of untimely substitution

Truth is I doubt Rohr's team can defeat Algeria, Senegal or Egypt in an home and away fixture.

He has lost to every tough opponent he has faced since 2019.

It is either Rohr is not doing something right or our team is just overrated and a bunch of average / below average players.

Of a truth, Ndidi and Osimhen are the only above average players we have at the moment. This is in sharp contrast to the likes of Senegal, Algeria and Egypt with world class players like Mane, Mahrez and Salah respectively.

This puts our team in a different perspective. Perhaps Rohr is overachieving with this team and he is justifiably right when he says we are a young team that is still learning.


Still, I'd rather we got a new manager than keep Rohr. The 4 - 4 comeback was all down to his inept game management. He refused to Sub tiring midfielders and he insists of playing misfiring attackers (Musa and Onuachu).

This team may not be world class but the hints we have seen in the games against Brazil, Argentina and Ukraine shows that with the right manager, the team could become world beaters.

We overate these guys expecting too much from a bunch of average guys who for majority of them, starting for their club is a matter of insha allah.

Time for Rohr to go and the team disbanded. Imagine Iheanacho,a bench warmer for ordinary Leicester playing full time and consistently under performing,when we have very good ballers like Olayinka, Moffi and Mukairu. Our marking since 2016 has been poor and since the exit of Moses, Mikel and Ighalo, we haven't got any player with similar experience, skill and composure. Musa's days are over. Too many defenders and wingers. Few options in central attack and the midfield. My high school team, CKC ,played far better football than these over pampered and relaxed team
