Thanks for towing the line of reasons by making an explicit post regarding this issue, unlike some wretched swine we have up there.

Of course, Ndidi is not a world class player; how many champions league games has he played and consistently bossed the field , what about world cup games where he usually fall below expectations ?
What in heavens name is this statement @bolded. How many good games did Drogba have at the world cup??. All to fulfill your Agenda you carry World cup here. How many World cup games has he featured in for you to even make this conclusion??

Omanambala:
That's a vague question but I will try and be concise. Ndidi only/mostly excel with tackles and blocks. His passing game needs more improvements to reach world class. He is simply above average and I am being nice.

I am sorry, I don't rate Ndidi very high but he can still prove me wrong.
Obviously. Ndidi needs to download and watch video clips of the Almighty Azubuike Modric Pirlo Iniesta Okechukwu. grin

Beats me how some folks keep tagging Ighalo an experienced and proven striker in the GWG.. Somebody that was a late bloomer..He meet guys like Ekong, Iheanacho,Omeruo, Ndidi,Shehu and Simon in the team..
Don't mind them, they chose to focus on his age and ignore his no of caps

So, Rohr talked about Simmy yesterday. He said Simmy has a chance but the striker role has so much competition. And........... Rohr still mentioned Ighalo againgrin.

This man has a problem. One would think the player in question has about 80 or so caps with the way he keeps shouting experience

Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has claimed that Reading playmaker Michael Olise was not handed a late call-up for the national team's Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches last month due to international travel restrictions in response to the coronavirus crisis.

Having said that, British-based players such as Everton's Alex Iwobi, Rangers' Joe Aribo and Leon Balogun, Leicester City's Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi, and Fulham's Ola Aina all reported for international duty in March.

Former Chelsea schoolboy Olise was among the players on the standby roster and it was logically thought that he would be added to the main list following the spate of withdrawals that hit the squad.

Spanish-based duo Kenneth Omeruo and Sadiq Umar were prevented from traveling to Africa as a result of coronavirus concerns and the same applied to French Ligue 1 stars Moses Simon, Simon Kalu and Terem Moffi.

Olise has played non-binding games for France at youth level, and also qualifies to represent Nigeria through his father as well as England.

"Michael Olise is a player we put on the standby list but he could not come because finally there were some restrictions and he could not travel, like other players," Rohr said to Elegbete TV Sports.

"You know the French players have not been released, some Spanish players have not been released the last time - Omeruo, Sadiq Umar.

"In France we had Kalu, Moffi could not come, that's why I took in the last moment local players to replace them."

Olise is having an outstanding season at Reading with a goal involvement of 16 (6 goals, 10 assists) in 41 appearances in the Championship, and continues to be linked with Premier

My friend farmers league doesn't apply to "Proven experienced players" mind you, he was just at the biggest club in EPL history as early as 2021 and could had signed to a bigger team. Yes, I am 100% against Farmers league players but when it comes to Proven experienced players, their league is irrelevant. All we require them.is to be fit/playing
Lmao

"proven experienced player"??

The same ighalo in question how many caps he get gaan. Person wey Ndidi and Iwobi get caps pass. Even Moses Simon sef has equalled his no of caps. Or how do we count experience in the National teams, no be by Caps??

I dont understand you guys here. A 32 year proven and fit experienced player that was recently the top scorer at ANCQ and ANC in 2019 and became the first Nigerian to play for Manchester United isn't good enough to be recalled because we have many youngsters? You my friend is the Mad one. I still don't know why Nigerians love to retire its players early while other countries legend are playing even at 36, 37. Ibrahimovich just got recalled back to sweden
The reason is simple, Zlatan at 39 is Sweden's Highest goal scorer this season. Ighalo on the other hand has barely played all season and has 3 goals all season so based on form, he doesn't deserve to called up. EOD

And BTW we recently played a qualifier where we scored 14 goals in 6 games so we don't have issues scoring goals hence I see no reason dragging him out of retirement

Hmm, I don smell small wahala.

Iwobi is 24 and Moffi is 21

If Iwobi and Moffi were close, then it would be that, at six years, Iwobi's close friend was a three year old boy, very unlikely cool

It gets more weird to think that the friendship had been going for some time. So when Iwobi was five, his best friend was two grin

If this story is true then Moffi's real age might be +2 or 3. The addition is not much sha.
Hmmmm

As Onauchu's move to Lyon gathers more momentum, with Sadiq already penciled down by Monchi, I just can't wait for summer, all things being equal, to have such options in our striking department as;

Osimhen - Napoli

Iheanacho - Leicester

Onauchu - Lyon

Sadiq - Sevilla

Then, others like Moffi, Maja, Awoniyi, Ugbo

Yap I agree. He should buckle up because with simy, Sadiq and terem waiting on the sideline, our 9 shirt is open for Grabs. As for Chukwueze, when lookman and Kalu returns, he will Rightfully drop to the bench
Lmao. Not under Gernot Rohr.

And I don't think He'll bench Osimhen for any of the guys you mentioned as well.

The same coach that didn't invite them when he needed 1 point from 2 games, I don't think He'll do so for a more important game like the WC qualifiers.

Moreso, he had 5 Goals and 5 Assist from 5 games probably the most Goal contributions in this qualifier. I don't think He'll bench that sort of player for 3 untested guys heading to the WC qualifiers. Buh then it's just my opinion
