Who doesn't like Ebuehi particularly after his performance at the last world cup. Also I'm tired of seeing Shehu and Awaziem as our RB's, with Ebuehi, Ola Aina and Ehizibie we now look covered on the right flank TheLoneCitizen: Chidera Ejuke and Terem Moffi will not be sold this season by their respective clubs this window except and undeniable offer comes.
Olulong, you seem to like Ebuehi a lot, you've been following his progress. |

daveP: At 23, Osaze was at Lille
Does that now mean Onyekuru is better? The Monaco he's yet to score for or hold a place down in yet. This is just like saying cos Solanke is in Liverpool then he is better.
Modified
European champions Chelsea looked at the relegation guy and got him on board
Pls Show me where that has happened for Onyekuru since Monaco?
.i hate this cos it is more an in house drag now... "This is just like saying cos Solanke is in Liverpool then he is better". - isn't that the basis of this argument. Forgiveness even said Osimhen will exchange his big transfer to Napoli for sitting on the bench at Man u. "Pls Show me where that has happened for Onyekuru since Monaco?" - Pls what happened to Moses in his first four seasons at chelsea |

Pls remind me what the said Ighalo won this season?? play @ a big stage when it matters - Chukwueze, Dennis, Osimhen,Onyekuru to mention a few have all played and scored at either the Europa league or UCL which is the highest level of club football. Ighalo and Moses at thier age : One couldn't cut it at Seria B, the other was at crystal palace Enough said |

komekn: Available options** 1) Osimhen - good quality yet to be proven at Higher quality Seria A. 2) Iheanacho - EPL flop 3) Simon - Good 4) Chukwueze - 3 goals in 37 games, a lot of development work required. 5) Kalu - Ok but not outstanding 6) Onyekuru - Good but unproven at Higher level 7) Musa - EPL flop
Onauchu - unable to justify selection from games played in the SE 9) Dessers. - untested at a higher level 10) Umar - very low quality league ( village champion) 11) Nwaekeme - untested at a higher level 12) Ejuke - untested at a higher level 13) Iwobi - midfielder 14) Kayode - Good potential but untested in SE opportunity not given.
None of these players has attained the level of Ighalo and none of them is better than him. The only player able to contend is Osimhen.
We talk about players in form, what will be Osimhen form in the much more quality and competitive Seria A.
He will not be the focal point of the team and with a ball played into space and or over the top of defenders for him to run onto as the main strategy will simply not work in Seria A. This league is well know for defending and closing spaces.
[/b]This is a test that Ighalo has already passed with flying colours, PROVEN, TESTED and CONFIRMED[/b].
If we bring Vic Moses into the equation none of them has played at his level and or exceeded his ability. [quote author=komekn post=93045738]This is a test that Ighalo has already passed with flying colours, PROVEN, TESTED and CONFIRMED - hope you were not referring to his time at Italy |

Until these young pretenders can get to the levels of performance and attainment if Ighalo and VM there is no competition. Individual accolades of a pretender(add Ligue 1 team of the season) at 21 Individual accolades of tested and trusted at 31 I rest my case

When their outstanding talent produces fruit we shall call them not before and by speculation.
Progression in football is the HERE and NOW players who are perfoming NOW. You keep contradicting your self in the process of proving the nonsense you always want to make sense of What is here and now? This season And this season Chukwueze, Moses Simon,Osimhen,Dessers and Emmanuel Dennis all have better stats than the so called players who are performing now. forgiveness: But Moses won Samsung fair player of the whole tournament. I don't think Mikel was suppose to win the player of the tournament.
Anyway, from my own perspective, I think Victor Moses was the reason we won that cup. That's my own opinion. Moses was the reason we won?? If victor Moses was that important why was Mikel nominated for African player of the year for that year and Moses was overlooked (despite the fact that they both won the Afcon and Europa league that year) |

elyte89: FYI...Vic moses is d only Nigerian player with d highest assist dis season (and he started half season with inter)January
And for ur first paragraph we av played 2competitions Sir 2 competitions of which both players were part of at least one. The so called "young players" have not played a major tournament since both of them retired. And by the way sir I thought you said stats doesn't matter but laurels or trophies do. Simon Moses,Dessers, Dennis, Osimhen and Nwakaeme all won laurels either for their individual performance or trophies and even if we come to stats they all had more goals and goal contributions than VicMo and Ighalo |

elyte89: I can c dt majority don't want to c d so called old legs again in our team.however my position on dt is dis 1) I av not seen a team been rewarded with trophy or laurels for parading d youngest team in a tournament. D idea of capping d age of those who represent us in a tournament irrespective of d talent doesn't seem ideal to me. D advantage is dere no doubt (we would av a team dt can last us up to a decade) but @ d moment we re yet to c result.we av been parading d youngest team since 2018 with nothing to show for it.I c no reason y nwakaeme can't be giving anoda chance again in team despite pulling nice stats for his club,he was shut out obviously because of his age. I saw d stat of rohrs untouchable player Samuel kalu.his stat is so poor dis season.more like a Gk stat, yet he keeps getting d invite and making d starting line up all because he's young
2) for d oldies in d aws ,let's go back to d memory lane and look @ d teams dt lifts d previous world cup.the least average age is beyond 26years.this shows dt experience counts if well blended with d young talent.I will support forgiveness on dis. Beside dt,musa has shown us dis in d past world cup, when chips were down ,he lifted d team with his goal..Iceland and also against argues(2014;though we lost )
3 if d players (v.Moses and ighalo re WILLING to come back) if I am rohr..I won't hesitate to bring dem in.dis bring healthy competition in d team U can't imaging a Vic mo and ighalo on d bench wyle our strikers(osimhen/nacho and chukwueze) re on d pitch playing.they would naturally give deir all on d pitch cos dey knw dt once dey mess up..d next match ,dey won't smell d starting line up in d next match..dis is d kind of competition dt has been missing in eagles for a very long time..d last time I can remember such competition existed in super eagles was in 2005/2006,dt team was star studded but were very unlucky coupled with indiscipline and bad management. That team could av done wonders if dey had qualified for d 2006 world cup edition. So.in a nutshell.. I believe if a player is still playing actively at d top level and he's still willing to play for us..d door is wide open irrespective of ur AGE.MY OPINION "Youngest team since 2018 without anything to show for it" - How many competition have we played since 2018?? Were the said players not at the world cup in 2018?? Was Ighalo not at the AFCON in 2019?? Cos I don't know what you are driving at by that statement Also there's enough competition in attack if Kalu struggles, there's moses simon, Ejuke Nwakaeme,Osimhen, Dennis,Dessers and Chukwueze who had better stats than the said players and some even won individual laurels for their performance last season. We don't need to beg retired players |
