From valued at 25 million to 10 million bid grin

Club Brugge should accept this one or they'll be left empty handed
Last last they'll lower their asking price especially if the transfer window is about to close

Partey vs Ndidi: Stat-by-stat comparison of Africa's top midfielders

How did both West African defensive midfield men compare in various categories in 2019/20?

Tackling
The pair are renowned for their strength in winning back possession or stopping opposition attacking midfielders but there was a chasm in both stars’ numbers last term.
Unlike Partey, Ndidi was head and shoulders above many players for tackles made in the Premier League, with only Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka (138) attempting more tackles than the Nigeria star’s 125.
The Leicester City man also won the second-highest tackles in the entire division with 76, behind only West Ham United ’s Declan Rice.
Partey, on the other hand, attempted 65 tackles throughout the season (29th in La Liga ), winning 45 of his total, a 69.2 percent success rate. This was, interestingly, better than Ndidi’s who won 62.4 percent of his tackles.

Interceptions & Blocks
While the Atletico defensive midfielder ranked 12th in the Spanish top flight for interceptions with 52, his number was some way behind Ndidi’s 84, the top ranked Prem star in this category.
The Leicester man didn’t have the most blocks in the division, but was still the Foxes’ top performer in this area, with 72, which placed him at 14th.
Partey ranked 30th in La Liga for blocks made having stood in the path of a pass or shot 56 times. This was higher than all but two Atleti players – Saul Niguez and Renan Lodi.
Passing
In the previous campaign, Ndidi and Partey cemented their importance to their respective side’s build-up, which undoubtedly reflects in the numbers.
The Leicester man attempted 1649 passes, with 1416 reaching its intended target, an 85.9 completion rate.
Furthermore, 138 of the Super Eagle’s attempts were sent into the final third, fourth in the Leicester squad and 29th in the league, while 74 were termed progressive.
The Ghanaian, on the other hand, outdid his West African counterpart in volume of passes made but was edged for attempts completed – 1704 and 1414 respectively.
However, Partey played 179 passes into the final third and as well as 186 progressive passes, highest and third-highest in the Atleti side.

Ball retention & press resistance
Whilst eye test will be the true measure of how these two excellent defensive midfielders fare, some statistics put their ability or otherwise to retain the ball and beat the opposition’s press into context.
Ndidi miscontrolled the ball 18 times last term and was dispossessed 26 times, 0.61 and 0.88 times per 90, compared to Partey’s 20 miscontrols and 15 dispossessions, 0.71 and 0.53 per 90 respectively.
Even though the Nigerian rarely gives the ball away, the Ghana man fares even better, evidenced by the numbers.
Interestingly, the Atletico Madrid man played the highest volume of passes when pressed by an opponent with 298, although his West African counterpart outdid the 27-year-old having played 306 passes under pressure by an opponent, which was fourth-highest for the Foxes.

Duels
This is probably the area featuring the greatest disparity in both players. Partey not only won this category but floored the Nigeria anchorman.
The Spanish-based player won 64 percent of his total tussles in La Liga to Ndidi’s 56 percent in the Premier League, despite the latter’s greater involvement per game which read 8.1 to 6.4 total duels won pg in the former Genk star’s favour.
A breakdown of their battles showed that Partey won 61 percent of his ground duels and an impressive 71 percent of aerial challenges. Contrast this with the 23-year-old Nigerian who won 57 percent of ground tussles and 55 percent for aerial duels, despite being slightly taller than the more experienced Atletico man.
Again, the Foxes midfielder wins more duels in both categories per match, but the gap in success rate is pretty remarkable all the same.

But when we mention players like Osimhen and say he will be the better Striker than Yekini, Ighalo Yakubu and will be the top goal scorer in Seia A.

It's objective and very acceptable, we did not say we are waiting for three seasons first or for him to play in Seria A first. Before we say anything.

Thats double standard, bias and favoritism.
Take your own advice by not putting Ighalo and Yakubu or Yekini in the same sentence

With this move. He might struggle to get call up with the new players that has reportedly agreed to join us. Very wrong move.

The only positive I see I'd he'll be playing with an experienced player and world cup winner. Maybe he'll improve that way

Actually I think you need to burst the huge bubble of delusion.

Look.at Bazee over the past 3 season, Injury prone and nothing to show.

Ademola Lookman is better in every respect
Bright Osayi is better clearly
Bobby Adekanye is better
Sammy Ameobi is even better.

Bazee will not get game time with any EPL club and will certainly be struggling in the Championship unless the bottom level clubs.

So what makes him better, because he is anonymous in his league, don't think he played more that 12 games all season.

If Ademola, Bobby, Bright and Sammy were in Augsberg they would be consistent starters.

Finally, most pPeopleton the know will consider leaving the Championship to Belguim league a step ddown. As a result Osayi is making an informed decision.
you've gone back to 3 seasons ago just to prove your point. What happen to the "here" and "now" theory??. And based on the here and now none of them(Bazee inclusive) deserves to be called up.

And which of those players are/have not anonymous in their leagues except for Bright Osayi last season

On what basishuhhuh

Poor performance, injury prone, lack of impact, mediocrity or the one over riding consideration he is German.

Is he better or has he ever been better than Ademola Lookman, Bright Osayi and even Sammy Ameobi ❓ Or even the rank outsider Bobby Adekanye.
Sorry to burst your bubble sir. But non of Ademola Lookman or Bobby Adekanye is an upgrade to Bazee based on last season stats. As for Bright Osayi,he had his chance to play UCL and top flight football with Club Brugge buh he chose to stay in his comfort zone, Hence none deserves to be invited. The only excuse you can make for bazee's invitation is that no switch of allegiance is needed unlike the others.

I absolutely disagree..

He is the best offensive full back, we have at the moment. Definitely an upgrade on Jamilu.

His defending sometimes can be a weakness.
I've seen his clips and I feel so too. Maybe playing him with Kalu and Moses Simon would be better because those two put a lot of defensive shift

Even though he improves, he needs that bench treatment for confidence sake..

He has played well in every game even this game, but he keeps missing chances.
I think he's putting himself under undue pressure. And the interviews he keeps granting aren't helping either, It only adds to the pressure
