obailala:I am usually careful around people who talk without restraint and play to the gallery, what Amaechi did during the on-spot assessment of the damage caused by the Attack was very horrible and barbaric. As a public office holder, he needs to outgrow his penchant for vindictive nature. I could recall the same scenario and blame games he deployed during the NPA saga without empirical evidence. Mr President needs to Act and stop this senseless campaign of calumny against his cabinet members for being meticulous and professional. |
On Kperogi’s Hatchet Job By Clement Tuoyo Kperogi's hatchet job reflects a patently biased reading of the Memo he talked about. It appears to me as blackmail to force Osinbajo out of the presidential race. There is no way Osinbajo can win based only on Christians' votes. Neither do I think Osinbajo nor the church is naive enough to believe so. I believe Osinbajo stands head and shoulders over many of those who are in the race and that has nothing to do with his church. In the 2023 Presidential contest, of those who are being speculated as interested, I agree with OBJ (a man I believe is the most hypocritical leader of all) on their one score: most of them should be in jail. The others frankly have major chinks in their armour. There are no saints. I believe Nigeria will benefit from the intellect of Osinbajo, Peter Obi and of course Moghalu. Moghalu unfortunately has no structure to get him there. Both Obi and Osinbajo will need to make compromises with the devils strewn over our political landscape to get there. Short of a revolution from ground up, Nigeria has very little chance of getting on a trajectory of years of good governance to close the gap between our Asian comparatives of the 1960s - South Korea, Malaysia etc. Kperogi's bogey of RCCG people around Osinbajo has been disproved many times and the hint of abuse of office around the social investment scheme headed by a Northern lady who has not been indicted is nothing but Kperogi’s deliberate over-reach to tar Osinbajo. If Kperogi's interest is in good governance, he should have noted the allegations of corruption against the Minister for whom the Ministry was created. He of course did not remember the Saudi "Dategate". Before I drop the casualness of using the corruption bogey to tar Osinbajo. I remember all the allegations of the use of FIRS and NEMA by Osinbajo. So far no credible evidence has been adduced to the allegations. They were as it seems smokescreens to replace the Chaiman of FIRS and hang the brazen corruption in NEMA perpetrated by the DG on the VP who heads the Board. Finally, I think Pastor Odeyemi who wrote that Memo was a little too loose in his language and allowed mischief makers room to make the kind of insinuation that Kperogi deliberately stretched out to create to fit his deep-seated bias against RCCG and Osunbajo. I worship in RCCG but I am certain my vote is not going to be directed from any man's pulpit. Indeed, like many Christians, my vote will be directed by my convictions of what each party and their candidates represent for Nigeria and the welfare of Nigerians which will also determine mine. It is impossible to corrall all RCCG members into one party or their votes for one candidate. It is infantile to suggest so. All parties are represented in RCCG, just like Presidential candidates have supporters amongst RCCG members. That however should stop the church or any group to encourage their members to participate actively in the politics of their nation. Kperogi should stop this campaign if tagging Osinbajo's rumoured and undeclared candidacy an RCCG project. It is not, cannot be and will never be no matter how much some people may desire it or would like people to erroneously believe it is. Kperogi is a distraction. Lets get a restructured, secular Nigeria led by people imbued by values focused on delivering the greatest good for the greatest number of citizens. As we were saying . . . |
Health is wealth, with this noble scheme reaching the vulnerable populations. I make bold to say this is a massive and welcome development. Kudos to our amiable VP and the FG for thinking this through. |
This lecture is top-notch and refreshing.personally gain a lot of insights from reading it.VP is intellectually mobile and sound. |
The menace of fake news is so disturbing to every discerning mind because it can destroy the fabrics of our unity and harmony. |

[quote author=AdeniyiA post=85903185]What happened to it is that elections have come and gone, and those who created the scheme have achieved their The government has a reason for removing the scheme from the VP. So, therefore, it is ignorant and/or malicious of people to wrongly attack the VP over the SIPs rather than call the ministry concerned to order. Besides, the ministry is still new and facing teething problems associated with fledging incorporation. We all agreed that the VP and his team did a yeoman's job. Don't worry the new team on board are equally up to the tasks and going to surpass the benchmark if and only they can't think outside the box and share notes from the previous crew. |

AdeniyiA:The SIPs are not under the VP’s office anymore but under a new ministry. The public will be doing their fellow Nigerians good service by calling out the ministry for their ineptitude in managing the SIPs rather than attacking the VP. |
The two great team players, good leaders and architects of Modern Nigeria.Ride on Sai baba and PYO. |
Jackson Ude AkA ode is well known as a merchant of fake news. He's a lost soul and no amount of his shenanigans can bring the amiable VP down. Osinbajo is a rising star. |

Prof Yemi Osinbajo is love and admires because of his novel and creative ways of confronting the multifacet tasks of nation-building. My take for now is that it is in our own interest to keep supporting the next level agenda and put aside any individual differences. |
Osinbajo has contributed immensely to the promotion and empowerment of the youth of this country through many government programs and initiatives. A very youth-friendly administrator that believes in Youth's spirit of resilience to succeed in the face of adversity. He has commended and supported many of our youths creative contents and industry in many diverse ways and showcase them to the world via numerous platforms. |

GoldenGeneral:Prof Osinbajo is the man i strongly believe can drive and continue the next level agenda beyond 2023. He has been a good team player and a key actor in this administration's developmental plans and reforms. |
amuwo1980:No one is licking anyone ass.keep yourself abreast and thinking outside the box. The government can only provide an enabling environment and conducive atmosphere for small and medium scale to thrive.if you can see any good thing in this government , then I can't help your circumstance. |
amuwo1980:. Keep daydreaming and hating on well-loved and people's VP. Osinbajo remains a torchbearer and icon of this administration. A man with many first and a rare gem for posterity, like him or otherwise, he stands shoulder high above anyone for the race comes 2023 for his outstanding and innovative arts of governance. A man with distinctive quality, able and loyal to a fault. |
Gandollar:. You are just a joke with this stale and fake news about the so-called N90b. Osinbajo is a moving train no one can't stop. A man that is taking necessary tutelage for better tomorrow and future for this country. He's a man to beat and well equipped for the tasks ahead. |
Yemi Osinbajo is one of the very few that are giving this Administration a sense of direction and keeping with the social contract the government signed with the electorates. The Cabals re certainly anti-people oriented and narrow-minded always for self-preservation. Yemi osinbajo acts appropriately by firing Daura. He's a golden and shining star this administration. |
Pastor Yemi Osinbajo SAN, Vice President of the Republic of Nigeria and failure can't be in the same sentence or bracket. He has distinguished himself in every aspect of human endeavor to be qualified as a result-driven and a trailblazer in corporate governance. A timely and wise decision from the management of nairaland for removing the barbaric post against an eminent and amiable VP.kudos to the team and crew of Nairaland for doing the needful, next time ensure censorship of article or post before dissemination. |
This is a great and decisive decision by Buhari led administration to promote and encourage local production. The multiplier outcome of this is enormous and huge to our GDP growth cum National development plans. The endemic rate of unemployment is going to drop drastically if our youth base can key into this agenda and embrace farming as a means of self-development. Many farmers will be smiling to the bank and praying for continuity of the administration for being farmer-friendly. |
