Romance / Re: Can You Really Forgive If You Can't Forget? by oluphemmie007: 3:15am On Sep 29, 2013
Forget ke? That would be a sign of a brain injury o.
Seeiously, no normal person can forget life changing experiences they consciously went through. To forgive is actually something that can only be tested by how you feel when memories of that experience comes around. Do you feel like getting even? Do you just shrug and wish evil on the offending party? Or do u feel, within your being, goodwill towards all actors like it used to be before the offense?

Personally, I believe not forgetting is an essential part of the process of forgiveness.

I would however want someone to clear the air on why it still hurts so much, even after you seem to think you have forgiven your offenders.
Yes, I hurt sometimes...but I hold no grudges.

OP, walk!

it might have started that you were his no. 1 but when the ex came back, you got relegated. he has been using you for a long time. you dont want the poo pouring all over you without warning sis.

and like someone noted, avoid slow (love) songs. they make things harder.

Health / Re: Should Doctors Have The Right To Strike? by oluphemmie007: 6:22pm On Jun 02, 2012
Lagusta:

Yes, it is very bad, that someone who is supposed to save lives deliberately abandons his duty post, just because of ego nd selfish interest, ABI!?!?
But wait, if your landlord sends u out of his house (GOD forbid) while ur rent hasnt expired, nd u hav no choice but to stay wit a friend, and d silly landlord still comes to disturb u again, wont u say d landlord is a freak of nature?
Thats just the senario here, an intern working in a federal hospital is paid nothin less than 173,000 a month, excluding taxes nd odas, but in lagos, they r paid 120,000..... Land of opportunities eh?
Thats not the catch, these docs manage the sum, but they r not paid for 2,3,4,5....9,10,11months... IF NA U NKO BROS?
Think about it

bros, get your facts right o...na who tok am say LASG no pay am for 11 months? na which house officer tell you say na 120k im dey take home?

they do have a right to strike (like every worker) but above are not even reasons at all.

Romance / Re: We Agreed To End A 3 Years Relationship Due To Religious Differences. by oluphemmie007: 11:38am On Apr 01, 2012
omobadan: See how people are happy someone broke up with her boyfriend because of religion. Sad. I don't share in their sentiments at all. I believe its silly. You guys loved each other for better for worse & then had to terminate a beautiful thing because of religion. Don't you think the good thing about life is tolerance. You guys should've learned to accept each other's faith & try to come to a mutual arrangement. Being in a relationship with someone of the same faith doesn't guarantee happiness. I don't think its a good move. But its your life. I wish you the best of luck.

i dont know if u are married but you should know that faith matters a lot in a family (except they are athiests afterall).its a yoking and it should be with someone of equal faith.
