Hello House,

Please kindly advise if there is cause for alarm. Applied for a Student visa while Spouse on SOWP. I have gotten Biometric Instruction Letter, but my spouse's Biometric instruction letter is yet to drop. Please do advise. Thank you.

The way around I discovered was refreshing the page multiple times, which seems to fix it. I don't know if other people have a better solution as clearing Cookies and the like didn't fix it. And based on Online searches, it has been a persistent issue on CIC website, that occasionally springs up, and when it starts won't just go away.

juntod: Your friend is already into fashion/design. She doesn't need an undergraduate degree in the US just like the VO said. If she was going for some certification, it would have been a different case.

Please can you kindly suggest possible certification courses she could enroll for. And in case, you can go the extra mile for me, can you state the colleges/universities that provides such .

What happened is that during the initial visit visa application, she has already stated that she is currently into fashion design. And feel like going along that line. In addition fashion design now seems to be her passion more than Accounting.

I have a friend. he has all necessary things. As in 1. money is already in account for 28 days. WAEC certificate, the challenge is that he is having has to do with his transcript. It is not yet ready even though he has applied since the first week of July. Please what is the way out. I need your candid advice pls.
the agent gave my friend the option of using his original certificate + a photocopy a previous transcript requested. But please note Transcript was written on the CAS. But based on post I have read so far on this thread, it doesnt seem advisable as Original copy of transcript has always been advised.

Please I need ur urgent advice plssssssssssssss.

The required amount was in account on the 6th of July. Someone was arguing with me that the 28th day would be 3/8/2012 but I think it ought to be 2/8/2012. Which is correct?

Dharkchild: Scheduling an appointment online gives you an advantage as you would be given a preferential treatment because of the appointment. U also don't need to rush there but get there just about 30 mins before your appointment. Booking an appointment is free...loll...

The online firm is dames your paper form and you don't need to full it online. According to the UKBA website you choose either to fill online our fill the hard copy form.

If you decide to opt for the online form, then you have to print out your completed online form and won't need to fill the hardcopy again.

PS. I think the self assessment form does not have an online copy so that would be filled manually and submitted alongside the online printout.

After following recent post, I realised it is good to schedule an appointment with VFS before going to the visa center.
My question is this, apart from submitting my forms(application form and personal details along with my credentials) at VFS, am I required to also fill the form online as well based on this information below on VFS welcome page

"You will need to complete a visa application form online prior to visiting the Application Centre. To complete the form, please visit www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk. After completing, please include a signed printout in your application pack."

Good afternoon house, I wish to be cleared on three things.
1. While following this thread , I read that the transcript to be submitted doesn't need to reference anybody(by this I mean the school name). So does it mean when my school is asking for where to be addressed to, can I simply give the school agents address without indicating the school name. More so can I simply even indicate that it should be addressed to my home address. In other to collect it directly.

2. The account am using is my salary account. The minimum required is already in my account. But during the 28-days period salary would be paid though I didn't even intend to withdraw the money. But hope it doesn't affect the days count.

3. Also when applying am I to print out the Oanda Conversion page, plus what are the things to write on the statement of accounts. (e.g conversion rate , pounds equivalent of the money in Naira. etc)

Please I want to ask, I was told that it is ideal to keep the money in my account for 28days + 2weeks. AS the Embassy could contact the bank to confirm if the money is there.
My question is this, is this statement really true, do banks release customer's info to third parties. I believe if the money is in one's account for 28days and one has printed the account statement is enough, and One is free to withdraw the money and return it to the owners. please kindly enlighten me on this.

please whoever likes himself not try investing in them, they are simply scam. they might pay you the first time you invest. Then nothing else.
Please avoid them so that you will learn the lesson the hard way.

I have come to the conclusion that all HYIPs are scams. while trying to raise funds for my academics. I invested part of the fee with an HYIP tradingfxworld.com (16, April)They didnt even pay me once, to show how wicked some people could be. Like they are just out to defraud people. I dont know what else to say than to say It is well.

justwise: If you have the maintenance money which has gone up now to about £8,000 then financially you will be ok if you spent reasonably, stay away from university accommodations, they are pretty expensive and not good for families.

Your university student union will have list of voluntary work available, whatever handwork you are good at will help but you are not allowed to start any business with it, no matter how big or small

Please can you give the definition of high. A university accommodation of 77pounds per week. Is it high?
It is defined as a standard room(not ensuite) with internet and other basic utilities.

BY God 's grace I work at Oceanic Bank. You wont understand unless you were in d system and u will know how people have been affected. How confused many people are.

Unity Bank had issues, Soludo didn't not go around announcing it , rather he pumped money into d bank and d bank is still going on. That is what we are saying.

To make matters worse for those that are contract staff. The subsidiary company of oceanic Bank that handles the recruitment of contract staff has been liquidated on Wednesday(17/02/2012). The new management of Eco bank is not ready to pay them off. How can you transfer employment to a new company without paying off.
