Career › Coronavirus: How Has It Affected Your Plans For The Year. Share Your Story. by Olusholar24(op): 6:37am On Mar 20, 2020 |
The outbreak of Covid-19 seems to have halted alot of operations in the world at large. All sectors are pragmatically feeling the heat of the epidemic as there is massive shut down in operations of tertiary institutions and diverse agencies nationwide.
Travel plans has been affected as most countries had already imposed a travel ban on high risk countries expecially countries with high infection and death rate.
This in turn would have affected the plans and goals of some imdividuals. To some, it extends their course duration in schools, to some, it means no travel out of the home or visiting country as of now.
Kindly share how the Covid-19 has affected your plans/goals or that of someone close to you.

Travel › Present Condition Of The New Lagos Marcopolo BRT Bus. by Olusholar24(op): 6:25pm On Mar 06, 2020 |
This thread is created to share my experience on the new Lagos BRT buses deployed to move Lagosians intrastate.
This review is based on personal experience, having using the buses to get to places around some parts of Lagos, i can say its a cool one.
The buses seems to be doing well but with few damages which if neglected, it will accumulate and later incure more huge cost in repairing.
USB PORTS Some USB ports seems to be damaged;of which damages were caused by passengers carelssness. Although some ports seems to be working perfectly well.
SEATS All seats are perfectly in place. None appears to be damaged in the buses have boarded over the last two months.
PRICES The new BRT bus cost relatively the same as other commercial transits but passangers still opt for it due to its on-board air conditioner, free wifi(2g) and convenience.
CHASIS External parts of some buses seems to have suffered from scratches and dents caused by slight collisions and impatient drivers around the streets of Lagos.
INTERIOR Interior seems to be wow as the look is somthing to behold.
This are just my review over the last few months have been moving around Lagos with the bus facilities. Maintenance culture needs to be put in place so the buses don't just go back to the cloud before time.

DrTee1: Something is really wrong somewhere.
Aside that this story is from one perspective, another huge concern is the grammar: Lexis, structure, tenses, construction.
Mum is the best teacher you know. She is a primary school teacher. That suggests she teaches at the elementary level where one of the core subjects is English language.
I'm afraid you may just have 'fallen hand' very badly - in the Nigerian lingua - and you not covered so much in glory, at least to buttress your best teacher assertion.
As to the matter at hand, there are established ways in the civil service to resolve disputes: Teaching Service Commission, Civil Service Commission, and at the extreme, the National Industrial Court.
However, excuses like distance of assignment from residence shouldn't arise, really. It isn't a excuse to be officially considered at all in that line of responsibility. If anything at all, it should be lobbied for, under the table, and not presented as a major issue.
Best wishes. Na wa |

500k will work for a unisex salon. You just have to get the cost of budget friendly gadgets you will be needing. Make your research well before diving.
But if its for the pics you posted on this thread, 500k is just a committment fee. No more no less. Those things i see there are kinda luxurious to so extent and you should definitely be mindful of the fact that they will come at a cost, and which can tear the 500k into pieces. |
