Concerned elders and chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bauchi State have accused the national chairman of the party, Ahmadu Adamu Mu’azu, of not doing enough for the re-election bid of President Goodluck Jonathan.

The elders and chieftains of the party in Mu’azu’s home state said they were reacting to the statement by the PDP national publicity secretary, Olisah Metuh, faulting insinuations that Mu’azu is not committed to the campaign efforts of the president.
However, a political associate of Mu’azu, Alhaji Sani Toro, in a swift reaction, denied the allegations.

“Mu’azu has met with stakeholders and whoever that matters in Bauchi twice and sought support for the re-election of Jonathan and other PDP candidates,” he said.

The elders said Mu’azu has his own secret agenda and advised Metuh to “stop defending the indefensible.”
The elders in a statement signed by Alhaji Bibi Dogo warned President Jonathan not to rely on Mu’azu to deliver the mandatory 25 percent to him in the forthcoming election, saying the national chairman has not done anything to empower stakeholders in the state.

He said: “There is also nothing concrete on ground to show Mua’zu’s personal commitment to the Jonathan re-election efforts. Attending Presidential campaign rallies organised by PDP presidential campaign organisation is not enough commitment from the national chairman of the party.

“In fact to govern a state for eight years under the same party is enough for Mu’azu to deliver Bauchi to Jonathan 100 percent, if actually Mu’azu is in control of the party in his state,” he stated.

“Metuh should come to Bauchi to carry out thorough investigation on the true character of Mu’azu before defending the indefensible, The truth of the matter is that since his emergence as the PDP national chairman, Mu’azu has not on his own convened a stakeholders forum in Bauchi State to convince the people on why it is incumbent to support Jonathan’s re-election,” he said.

Even the FGN owes salary, but the case of Osun is so provoking because the workers don't even have hope unless Buhari (APC) wins or arebesola decamps to the PDP so he can get ruling party assistance outside the statutory allocation. I think the issues with Osun is the case of a strong soldier with 5 machine guns in his hand (osun has 77000 public servant), osun embark on road project that only FGN, Lagos, Rivers or Akwa ibom will complete coveniently, osun begins a welfare package that he can't afford (free education, free food for students, free food) all at the against the teachers wishes. The indigenese of osun need to come home to set up companies, the government need to face the civil servant salary and pause facilities provision cos it can afford it, the people of osun especially osogbo are lazy people ( the state wakes up a 8am and sleep by 7pm), a lot of under age parents who still look up to their own parents for meal ticket "aregbe school, Aregbe uniform, Aregbe food for the kids". This have to stop unless osun will be a 4th world state in a 3rd world nation

The most interesting part of Jonathan ' s campaign is that his targeting the youths. "Nigeria youth" the youths that he targeted with "Jonathan and friends campaign" in the last election, the youths that fantasies a modern system of democratic government under him.
If the Nigerian youths can't remember this promises definitely we can't forget ASUU strike and the fact that Nyseon Wike was called to supervised the education ministry (wike wike ) , we can't forget how ours girls were been kidnapped and our president said nothing until after a week. We can't forget how jobless Nigerian youth were been scammed of immigration job.
Yet some dead head youth who earn 30,000 naira at the rate of 200 dollars 2 years ago still earn the same 30,000 at the rate of 125 dollars still want Jonathan back, The same youth who watch our president embark on 36 states campaign and his wife has started hers (wasting our devalued naira), the same youth who's following the campaign from the phone his parent gave him at the age of 27.
