Business / Limestone - Companies That Use Limestone In Nigeria by Oluwaruth: 4:43pm On Jul 04, 2017
Good day great people of Nairaland. I trust our day was great.

Earlier today, I was reading up on some of the things limestone could be used for and I saw products like paints, plastics, rubber et al.

Please does anyone know names of companies in Nigeria that use limestone in making their products. I'd be glad if you guys can help me out. This is really important.

Thanks people, God bless you.

Romance / Re: My Girlfriend & I Want Abortion, Mature Advise Needed! Help A Brother! by Oluwaruth: 10:02am On Oct 29, 2015
@Demigods, i'm not gonna pass blame to u but having unprotected sex isn't good though. Now to this issue of murder that you're trying to commit, there're so many consequences attached to it and you need to ask yourself these questions - what if she looses her life in the process? Would you be able to tell her family what killed her? What if she doesn't die but gets her womb damaged? Wouldn't you be the first to rub it in her face and dump her or telling people she's infertile?

Look, mostvtimes, we dont know the things we are capable of or the extent we can go to until we find ourselves in that situation.

I'll tell you one thing. Let that precious gift be. God knows why He has allowwd it to happen this wa. Again i tell you that there blessings children bring with them. You dont know the kind of happines and joy that child will bring you both and also the grandparents.

This will be difficult but visit the girl's parents. Make your intentions known that that you want to marry their daughter when you finish school but you want her to keep the child.

Like i said' it's not going to be easy but they arecthings you have to do if you really love her rather than have blood of an innocent child on your your hands.
Pls carry us along too so nairalanders will know your visions.

Goodluck!

Akbee:
Shut up there cos if u decide to hang your boot both at the club and international level, football will still be played in every nook and cranny of the world.infact the sports will even become more popular than ever.
Mr Oliseh might have bn wrong there but lets not be oblivious of the fact that he is the head coach of the national team which Enyeama happens to be the shot-stooper.The boss has the final say bros Enyeama n ur just a follower.
I never knew the once humbled Enyeama could be this arrogant and still have the gusts to make it known publicly.

To me, he's not arrogant. The guy just buried his mum the saturday before and i'm suure he wouldn'tt have been ablle to do anythhing even of hee had arrived camp onn the said monday. Oliseh should cut him some slack. Afterall he had his issues too when he was on the team and everyon knows he has attitidunal issues too. Like a friend said, leeadership is earned and not enforced.

Romance / Which Is The Right Finger To Wear Engagement Rings? by Oluwaruth: 3:10pm On Jul 07, 2015
I was at the bank the other day and I saw a guy accusing his female friend of getting married and not inviting him. The lady defended herself and said she wasn't married but engaged and will soon be getting married. The man then challenged her for putting the engagement ring on the wedding finger and not the index finger.
I got confused and started wondering which is the right finger to wear an engagement ring on. Any idea guys...?
Family / Re: Why Do Non-virgin WOMEN Wear WHITE Wedding Dresses? by Oluwaruth: 11:52am On Jul 07, 2015
Guys, be careful what you say cos it might turn around on you. Yes white signifies purity but then don't you think everyone deserves a second chance? I imagine if your wife to be isn't a virgin and she's asked to wear black or something, what will u do?

Computers / Re: Can't Figure Out Password by Oluwaruth: 4:18pm On Jun 12, 2015
Someone posts something asking for people's opinions and people just can't help but insult. You could have as well kept the insult to yourself since you didn't have anything to contribute. Well, I don't blame you all the same, it's a Nigerian mentality.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Open Letter To NIGERIA From A SOUTH AFRICAN by Oluwaruth: 5:02pm On Apr 24, 2015
The issues you raised in your letter don't justify your fellow citizens' killing of black foreigners. First of all, Africans are not the only foreigners in South Africa and you know deep inside of you that your country couldn't have tried this with the US or any country in Europe. You guys could only have tried that with Africans because it's so obvious that our leaders don't care about their citizens.

Although, while I agree with you that SA companies here in Nigeria shouldn't be shut down, you should also agree with me that we're investing in your country as you are in ours.

On the issue of black foreigners oppressing you locals, it was reported that part of your complaints were that their prices are too high et al but I'd like to ask you - do these foreigners pay taxes to your government or not?

You wrote about those 7 innocent people who lost their precious lives as if they mean nothing. I saw the pictures of how a Mozambican was mobbed and stabbed to death while people watched. Does that look right to you? I want you to know these people didn't ask to be killed. Maybe you would have understood it better if any of your siblings were to be involved. Look there're better ways to handle issues and that is why you have a government and laws to keep people in check.

It's true we have boko haram issue but it's far different from yours and if care isn't taken these people whom you're encouraging because you believe they're fighting for you would turn against you their own. Then, you'd know what it feels like for us to deal with boko haram.

You also mentioned that no Nigerian was among the deceased people but I don't think a Nigerian has to be killed before we speak because as far as we are concerned, WE ARE AFRICANS!
