Popular Nigerian singer Zlatan Ibile was allegedly beaten by rival cultists last night at The Gateway Polytechnic, Saapade, Ogun State.

According to reports, the singer was slated to perform at the school and moments after mounting the stage to start entertaining his audience when a fight broke out.

Reports also have it that the singer had kept the students waiting for a very long time but trouble eventually started when he mounted the stage and was rocking a beret of the Aiye cult group.

Angered by his effrontery, one Eiye cultist identified as Ronaldo, approached Zlatan and removed the beret before attacking him.

To prevent further anarchy, soldiers immediately moved in to whisk the singer away.

Popular Nollywood actress and producer Funke Akindele-Bello has disclosed that at her point in her career, she almost gave up acting.

Taking to her new YouTube channel, the mother of twins shared some things about herself many were not privy of.

Talking about her career, she said;

“I want you to look at me and my story. When I started acting in 1998, I remember how I struggled to get up there, I got a lot of “no’s”. I was the ‘queen’ of auditions and ‘wakapass’ roles. I would read so well and people will clap, I will be so excited and would think when I get the list, I would get a supporting role. But all I got were roles like church extracts. I remember crying on those occasions.

“But my mother would tell me that I’ve got the passion and it is a God-given talent. She would give me money for my transport fare; sometimes I would trek to some places then take a bus to meet up.

“I could count the number of shoes I had then, maybe two or three. But today, the story has changed. Things changed for me positively.

“After ‘I need to know’, I didn’t get any more roles, I went down; I got back to attending auditions and lobbying, calling people and knocking on doors but none opened. I felt I had lost my chance.

“I can remember going for a project and I met an actress who spoke to the producer on my behalf. I remember going to Oshogbo for the movie, I packed all my clothes, I was so happy because I was told I was going to play a supporting role. I got there, and we were supposed to film but something happened to the generator and we couldn’t film. I was waiting to be called to film in my hotel room but they did not.

“On the fifth day, they called me and I was shocked. I was asked to play the role of a secretary in two scenes. This was after playing a major role in ‘I need to know’. It was devastating for me, I was crying but an actor advised me to take it.

“I took the stipends I was given and went back to Lagos. There were different situations like that where I could have given up but my mother’s words kept encouraging me till I got my big break to produce my own movie.

A man has stabbed his fiancée to death in Austria after she mocked him for having a small penis, Mirror UK, reports.

The man named Daban K. and who hails from Iraq, killed the woman after she had sheltered him from the Austrian authorities for several years.

The woman hid Daban in her flat when he ignored a deportation order to be sent back to Iraq from Austria.

After he was arrested for murder, the 40-year-old blamed the attack, which saw him stab his partner at least four times in the neck, on her for mocking his masculinity and being unfaithful.

Daban K., who’s full name has not been released due to Austrian privacy laws, said in a conversation with court psychiatrist, Sigrun Rossmanith, that: “She was a very good woman to me, but she repeatedly insulted me.

“She cheated on me three times with other men and did not want to have sex with me anymore. One day she told me that my penis was too small.”

A Chinese woman has given birth to twins from 2 different fathers, an indication she had been cheating on her husband.

The woman had a set of twin boys but one of the boys didn’t look like the woman’s husband. A DNA test showed that they had different DNA.

This increased the husband’s suspicion and the woman was forced to admit that she cheated on her husband in a one-night stand.

The story was uncovered after the couple, from south-eastern Xiamen city, had to register the birth of their twin sons at the local police station early last year. In order to complete the registration, they had to produce the results of a paternity test to prove that the babies were theirs.

The husband, identified only as Xiaolong, had wondered why one of his sons didn’t look like him.
