I have a 2012 Acura MDX, the gear oil drops while in motion and when parked.

Please help me on tips or who is reliable to fix this.
Picture attached.

Thanks in anticipation

Where is your location? It will need to be checked to figure out where the oil is leaking from and then, it can be fixed.

My car ES300 03 model is suffering from acceleration drag.
when it takes up speed, I feel some sort of drag , a bit slow with a bit of noise . I don’t know what would have caused this.

I have replaced the fuel pump, had my mechanic check my coils to see if any one is losing power , I’ve also replaced all plugs.

Could this issue be from the injector? Should I check the injectors to see if there are blockages ( if they are not passing fuel well)?

Have you checked if the exhaust is free from blockage?

Positive sign that OP should go ahead..

No shaking.. Lol.

But to be honest,Nissan recent model designs are dope,na engine be problem.

I call them,beautiful devil.

This particular model carries the VQ35DE engine, which is actually not bad, and it's reasonably reliable too.
Car Talk / Re: Please I Need Your Advice On Nissan Quest 2012 by oluwaseunla(m): 7:43pm On Jun 21, 2022
It's not all bad news actually. That car can be sensitive and can be very temperamental, most especially if you deviate from any manufacturer's recommendation. If you generally prevent abuse, it should last you a long time. Preventing abuse however may be expensive.

The CVT transmission is actually not that terrible in recent models like the previous ones. Against popular opinion, it is actually one of the few transmissions that can be easily rebuilt as long as the "belts" are fine. You can replace literarily any other thing in that tranny and get away with it. Compared to the crazier "13 pin" in Toyota's, I feel this is still more reliable. Again, just stick to the recommended fluids, and possibly install an external transmission cooler if you will be doing a lot of long distance travel.

If you cannot pay attention to details in the car, the car isn't for you. If otherwise, you may give it a shot.

To my observation, His scanner is OK, he is one of the leading guys in Enugu on scanning. I even have to wait for a scanner he purchased newly to arrive Nigeria. A wireless scanner that can scan and print the results.

Good. So let him carry out an idle relearn on the car. That should sort the issue.
Car Talk / Re: Official Nissan & Infiniti Thread by oluwaseunla(m): 7:17pm On Oct 05, 2021
MrBuzy:

Good day. You said that I should state the problem. My Infiniti G35 2007 rpm gage and idle up and down continuously between 1100 to 1900 forever. This was after the Mechanic mistakenly cleaned the injectors and the thottle body (injector mouth). I took the car to an Electrician that uses scanner. He tried to control the idling up and down but couldn't. Fortunately that day, someone brought an Infiniti G35x 2007 for him to scan. He quickly removed the throttle body from that Infiniti and put into mine and my car start and settled well. So he advised that I should buy throttle body. I ended up buying it two pairs twice and none worked for my car. He tried with his scanner and it didn't work. He will bring it down with scanner and once the scanner is off, it will go up and down. I need solution to the problem because it seems that none is available for now.

What kind of scanner is he using? From your description, it sounds like he needs to carry out an idle relearn on the vehicle.
