So, one thing I noticed after changing my battery to a new one is the smooth, increased HP and swift engine response of my high mileage 2012 Camry. grin

Could there be a strong correlation between the battery and the ignition coils

There's also an improvement in MPG cool

I have recently learnt to only make my points, share my experience and leave ignorant people to either learn from it or learn the hard was.

No time again for bad energy people here.

The only exception one can get on the fare is if you stop the ride halfway your destination.

E.g lekki to Abule Egba and you the rider decide to end the trip at say ikoyi or ogudu tue fare will never be the same as estimated. BUT if it's a card payment believe me bolt will charge you the full amount oh provide it has gone above 10km.

I experience this just yesterday... I speak from experience. Not bear parlour talk.

A lot of things are happening now on bolt that I don't understand.

If you get a request from say lekki phase 1 to ICM and you call the rider and he says he's at Ajah. If you make the mistake and drive down to Ajah to pick him, the price when you end the trip will be the price from lekki phase 1 to ICM.

If you do a return trip these days, OYO is your case.

The app is seriously messed up for now and fraudulent drivers will definitely take advantage.

I'm having to request for price review almost on a daily basis. I sure say dem go don tire for me but I no send them.

I picked up one Pino Pino from Bera estate. The rider's dressing was so revealing that she was very uncomfortable anytime I looked at the passenger's side mirror, she would just be adjusting her dress as if na her I dey look.
On lekke/epe express, I noticed that those security guys didn't close my boot well. So I had to pull over to close it very well and then hurriedly got back into my car.

After driving for some seconds, noticed that due to the hurry, I wasn't sitting comfortable... I was some how pressing my balls. I tried to adjust but no way, the thing don dey pain me small small.

To free my self, I go need put my hand inside my trouser to adjust my "ngwo ngwo". Ha! this rider that was already thinking that I was looking at her, what would she now think if she saw me put my hand in my trouser ?

Anytime she looked the other way, I go wan quickly adjust, but then she would turn again and be looking forward.

My break through came at one of the traffic lights, where she wanted to buy gum, I said to my self that this is the perfect time to do it. While she was talking to the guy selling gum, as I was about to adjust my things, na so she turn to ask me to borrow her money, na so my hand just freeze for air. Immediately she face the shewing gum guy, I put hand free my self.
Inside me I said "What a ride!"

What distance and time are you still looking for when this screenshot was provided by tojahh, yet you kept mute. Will you say this trip jumped from lekki to ikeja in 1 min?

If I may remember well, your point from the onset has been that bolt calculates by distance and time covered.
I have seen about 3 screenshots here that proved that wrong. The distances can never be covered under such time on the ride details.

If the app calculates right, it should be showing zero distance covered and actual time if it was started and ended at the drop off point.

And my guess could be right that you make use of this to inflate your earnings, thereby discouraging people from knowing about it in the open.
I hope it keeps working because I will be taking back my car to get back on Bolt platform.
This screenshot is a proof I am already dusting my app and vehicle ready for this.

At the bolded, I will not respond to u d way u deserve.

I remember saying if u start and end trip at destination, it will work cos the App senses u forgot to start ur trip. That's what someone posted here last week which u r referring to. I didn't respond to that because I think I had clearly made my point repeatedly on that. If u guys fail to comprehend simple English, that's not my problem.

But if u start trip midway u only get d remainder of what u drive; distance, time and waiting time if any.
Now nobody has proved this to be wrong yet. Isn't it astonishing or is it coincidental that all the people claiming this fraud never embarked on the trip but ordered for someone else? So they can never know/tell wat happened on those trips for sure. Except for one which we have confirmed was a surge trip and hence the higher price.
And I have asked, if u deduct the claimed wait time from the price, will d price of that trip be realistic? But ofcourse no one has answered that question yet because u have ur mind fixed.

If it's fraud and cheating that motivates u, that's ur business. I will not even try this fraud just because I want to prove anything to anybody like Tojahh did. I will arrive, start trip and end trip at the appropriate times and get my rightfully earned money. And u always take things like this up, I tot u disliked unjust earnings and cheating the system bla bla bla but I never knew u were always about getting more information so u go into it too. Good luck to u man.

Hmmmm...I don't know if this claim is ur experience or something that only exists in ur mind.
I still did a trip from Ketu to Surulere and back to Ketu on Tuesday. I just asked rider to change destination. And my money was complete. About 5k cos it was on surge. Would u say my one-way trip from Ketu to Bode Thomas was 5k?

That same Tuesday night I did another trip, rider chose a wrong location and destination, coincidentally the streets she was picking where similar to actual situation.
This is what she chose
PU: Mofowoku street
Destination: Maye Street, Lagos Mainland
Now I called her and asked, where r u going to and she said Magodo. It didn't bother me, because I know people lie maybe because of who is listening. And whichever is d case I will go to both destinations whether d one on d app or d one she said. So I drove to PU around Fadeyi according to my map, and called her after a while she called that she was outside. Long story short she was in another Mofowoku street inside Bajulaye towards Bariga. It was late night so I told her I will be with her in less than 5mins.
Actual pick up details
PU: Mofowoku street, Off Bajulaye
Destination: Maiye Ogundana, Mogodo
I intentionally mentioned to her that the price will be different because she inputed wrong parameters both PU and destination cos I don't want argument. She said no problem, she is still learning how to use d app.
Got to destination and my money was about 2,800 or so. And she confirmed d estimate was significantly lower. Would u say Fadeyi to Maye Street, Yaba is 2,500? even if estimate assumes I will drive from Fadeyi to go and turn at Anthony and come back to Yaba, it will still not reach 2,500

I did another trip last night, similar issue, this time we didn't even change destination on d app sef cos rider didn't know where she was going to. What rider inputed on app was Olowu street, Ikeja to ShopRite, Alausa. I ended up dropping her with her host in Pencinema after driving to ShopRite, Okoaba and back to Wema bank Agege. Trip ended N1,500. Offcourse, Olowu to ShopRite can't be N1,500, highest N700 without surge.
And many many other cases like that.

Funny enough many times these trips have route compensation because it's a short trip, but when rider changes destination to a longer place, it still applies and what u get is what u drive not estimate at the beginning of the trip.

So u see Brov, my point has always been in this current version of the Bolt App we are using, if u like drive to Abuja and come back ur money will be calculating irrespective of what is inputed on the app by rider, until trip is ended by either driver or rider. I just always advocate u ask Rider. To change destination so that when there is a case tomorrow, u r covered.

The argument the last time is that people arrive at pickup, start driving to rider's destination leaving the trip on paid waiting without starting it. Once they're some kilometers to rider's destination or even at the destination, they will start the trip knowing that the distance covered will still be included by the app.
By then the paid waiting must have accumulated quite well; especially on surge trip.

I even illustrated my experience here which is the basis of my own assertion. Which is...

Once you click the arrived button, any distance you covered from that point whether you started the trip or not must be calculated for you. Even if the final destination is not same with what rider put.

If you clicked arrived at Sangotedo, and drove till ogudu before starting the trip while the destination is Berger bust stop, the app will calculate the total distance you covered from Sangotedo to Berger bus stop.

Where the cheating comes in now is the time/trip duration.
The time spent from Sangotedo to Ogudu will be calculated as paid waiting (#24/min), while the time spent from Ogudu to Berger bus stop will be calculated with normal time (#12/min)

Imagine leaving a trip of 1.9 surge on paid waiting for over an hour. That's almost #50 per min times 60mins. Which is almost #3k.
Here, the paid waiting added an extra #1.5k to the original fare the trip should have ended.

Why you think that these can't be programmed into the App is what I don't understand yet.
