Response To: "Nigerian Lady Residing In Canada Berates Fellow Nigerians (Video)" Nigerian Lady Residing In Canada Berates Fellow Nigerians (Video)" https://www.nairaland.com/7267194/nigerian-lady-residing-canada-berates Responding to above video and link of a Nigerian lady in Canada complaining that Nigerians who have lived there long enough don't like to help other Nigerians or newly arrived. She only told one side of the story from the side of Nigerians needing help abroad. I think it would be helpful to hear from the side of those who have lived there long enough to tell you why they may be reluctant to help other Nigerians. Nigerians who have lived there long enough do actually help other Nigerians but you have to earn it! Most of them have dealt with wicked and heartless Nigerians they helped. You help someone without expectations, just pure from your heart, tomorrow, the same person will turn against you for no reason. You yourself will be wondering, what kind of evil person is this? Like, an unwarranted evil. Many Nigerians abroad have experienced this with other Nigerians, so if you find yourself in this situation as someone seeking help, be patient and prove to them they should help you, don't be entitled. An example of an ungrateful and heartless Nigerian helped by a Nigerian abroad https://www.nairaland.com/7180505/nigerian-man-defrauds-us-sponsor#113843316 Now, the fact of the matter is most Nigerians who just arrived abroad are ungrateful and entitled, which is a typical Nigerian mindset and culture back home, that takes time to erase abroad from relearning those bad habits. Remember, the culture and mindset abroad is designed to reward good behaviors, not bad. If people see you are a good person, they will help you. It's not like in Nigeria where you will be disrespecting and inflicting evil on someone and at the same time, seeking help from them. In-laws and village people all on your neck, pressuring you to help the ungrateful idiottt. Nobody here will help you if you are an ungrateful and entitled person. Even the woman making this video is entitled, thinking someone has to help you just because you are a fellow Nigerian, no, you have to prove to those people you deserved to be help. The Filipinos you mentioned, they are not ungrateful and entitled like Nigerians are, so don't compare. Advice to Nigerians coming abroad, don't come here with that stupid naija mindset of "sharp guy and everything about having sense." Leave all that nonsense in Nigeria with you and come clean. You think Nigerians abroad don't know all those the Niaja tricks? We know, but we've advanced from living abroad in a honest system where things work. Further more, be grateful to people and don't feel entitled. Be honest, be fair, be reasonable and always always reciprocate in kind for help given to you. |
IgbuduMonkey:All the Adelekes resemble Igbo, including Davido with their head shape, big body and fresh skin. The first time my uncle saw him Ademola, he said this guy must have Igbo blood. I said how? He said go and investigate. Lo and behold, his mother is Igbo from Enugu. In fact all of the Adelekes where raised in Enugu.

Bloody Spies. Surveying to come back and bomb the church.

Channel55:Why waste your time on that waste afonja boy? He knows the truth but envy will not allow him accept it.

If you are smart, you will see that the video was just a snippet clip intended to take him out of context and paint him as a homophobe by rival party groups. Obi-Datti campaign group is set to publish the complete speech shortly for Nigerians to see the full context of the speech and what he meant. They are aware of this cheap blackmail was coming and are prepared for it. Now what he said and we heard is"such elements should be killed." Meaning, "such things or ideologies should be killed, not the actors or people involved." No amount of negatives will prevent Nigerians from voting for Obi and Datti. |
Beautiful. Waiting for haters to enter this thread, you will be shocked what will happen to you. |
These Yoruba people think about Igbos 24/7, monitoring their progress and comparing to their selves. Also most of you lack ability to reason critically as long as Fulani opens your region. If you have common sense there is a reason why Federal government is building Lekki seaport, when you have Onne, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Warri and Onitsha yet to be commercially functional. You afonjas cannot reason why! Same reason applies to airports, that's why Port Harcourt Airport too is not functioning well. If you want Anambra Airport to be as busy as Lagos or Abuja, ask senate to pass laws to scrap FAA (Federal Aviation Authority), giving states rights to make those decisions. Then you will see what will happen. Same for NPA (National Port Authority)

Afonja aka Tinubu urchins looking at the subject now

That guy that refused to step down, has cashed in. Pretty sure he received about 500m, which is small money to Lawan, with senate budget over 100 billion. |
The source claimed that Kwakwanso and Obi are right now in Egypt, to negotiate VP and merger ahead of tomorrow's INEC deadline. Kwankwanso wants the deal brokered in Egypt, in company of some Egyptian government officials, to avoid any issues in the future of what was agreed to. Kwakwanso has strong relationship with Egyptian government officials from his days as governor and minister of defense. The source added Kwakwanso already left for Egypt on a private jet but given Obi's image of being modest, they agreed he should use passenger jet to avoid being seen in a private jet, which will destroy his image of being a common man. He also added that was why Obi was rushing to make it there because the INEC deadline is tomorrow.

Igbos can survive. Definitely Yorubas and Hausa-Fulani cannot.

Kzinne:Afonja illiterate. Gen Philip Effiong from Akwa Ibom, Biafran second in command.
|
franchasofficia:Afonja idiottt, half of SS are Igbos. Can you get that in your amala brain? Igbos can't leave them behind.
|
franchasofficia:Some of you Afonjas behave like idiiotsss. What is South South? Do realize half of your imaginary so-called SS are Igbos? I don't know what is wrong with you afonajs and obsession dividing former Eastern Region. Have you ever heard Ibibio and Efik describe themselves as SS or Niger Deltans? |
Moferere:What's Deltan? You Yoruba people are very funny. All not to give Igbo credit! He is an Igbo man from Ogbarho/Ika Igbo area!
|
Okay is very smart, what he is saying indirectly is since North and SW brought out two old men like Buhari to rule us and drag us back again, why don't you let them rule over your regions, and allow us in the East to elect our own in Peter Obi. Even though he is right, watch as Afonjas will leave Tinubu and SW, and be wondering about Eastern region and why so-called SS should be put together with SE, even though they were together in the former Eastern Region minus Edo and some part of Delta. That will be their main concern, not Tinubu ruling over Western Region. They won't even allow Tinubu to rule Western Region but want him to rule Nigeria because they know his intentions are not sincere, since Nigeria is only for stealing from others and diverting to their region. Edit: Like I said, afonja poster below "Difrent", already crying over SE and SS. That's their worry!

Tinubu Supporters, Calm Down, They Are Counting Boxes From SW Delegates. Una eye go shine when they get to Northern states, SS and SE.

Afonjas don't know plan B Northerners have for Tinubu. They will let him get the ticket but give him either Abiola treatment or support Atiku.
