Two ways to look at this:

1. Its either they are lying. They must have fired before asking questions and later discovered he is one of them.

OR

2. Mr. Clement is using his service pistol to rob people on that infamous area and on sighting his colleagues fled so that he wont be identified.

Its either of the two.

Nosa, I have a question for you:

If I am your father(president) and you are my son (masses). When you go to school (Nigeria), I give you some money for your feeding(subsidy) since they do not provide food in school(constant electricity, good roads, etc) and as you get to school, a bully( Cabal) takes that money away from you. Should I, the father stop giving you money or should I tackle the bully?
Kai! your analogy is poo.
1. SUbsidy money was not for making up for bad roads and epileptic electricity etc.

2. The bully you termed the cabal can easily be pointed out and dealt with in school wheres as it applies to Nigeria, finding them out might end up being a one-point-agenda of a full presidential tenure. A time we (nigeria) dont have!

3. Even if the bully shiit stands, why would your dad continue giving you money (which the bully will steal anyway) before tackling the bully and why not after tackling the bully.

Quattara - a known former IMF executive, this guy that was hand picked by the western countries to rule Ivory Coast. We are finished. Nigerians reading this, don't take my words at face value, go and do your own research on why former President of Ivory Coast, Gbagbo was hunted and ousted  from power. This guy was trying to untie Ivory Coast from the shackles of colonial France, in other words, he was trying to untie Ivorian currency from french currency. Same way that France tied Haitian currency to theirs for more than 2 centuries and Haiti never made head way. Most of you might not understand this, essentially what this means is that the former colonial master(France) still controls the currency value of Ivory Coast. Gbagbo was hunted because he VOWED to untie Ivory Coast from the shackles of colonial slavery. They tell you in the mainstream media that Quattara won? Lets put this in context:  how did he win? Who decides on who won elections? What constitutional body has absolute and final say on election malpractices? Is it the supreme court or electoral body? My judgement tells me its the Supreme court and most of you will agree. Who decided the election of President Goodluck Jonathan vs. Buhari few weeks ago and in the past elections, was it Supreme court or Electoral body(INEC)? Of course it was the Nigerian Supreme court.   Who decided the election of Bush vs. Gore in 2000?  United Supreme court did. Now, conversely, when the Ivorian Supreme court ruled that Gbagbo was the winner of the election in Ivory Coast, the western world said, No! no! no! The electoral body or INEC in our case, has the final say. Who did these people think they are fooling? Like we are babies and can't think for our selves.

This guy Quattara is only there as ECOWAS chairman to carry out the bidding of western powers like outgoing-chairman Jonathan. What did Jonathan accomplish as ECOWAS chairman? Absolutely nothing. I am afraid to say this, yes Abacha was a dictator, by far, the best ECOWAS chairman the body has had. Go and read his accomplishments and how he brought peace to many unstable countries in West Africa. Why didn't Jonathan as ECOWAS(didn't even know he was ECOWAS chairman because never heard of him all those while) work with Zuma, former AU president to devise a plan to protect Libya and Gaddafi?

Governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa State has stated that the 13 Igbo businessmen gunned down by unidentified killers recently in the commercial town of Mubi, in the state were killed as a result of business conflict. This is contrary to media reports that they were killed by the deadly Islamic sect, Boko Haram. The governor said government was still awaiting detailed report from security operatives before releasing the corpses of the 13 Igbo to their families for burial, adding that he stood on his ground as regards N25, 000,000 reward promised any person or group with credible information that would lead to the arrest of the criminals behind the killings.

The governor who spoke through his Press Secretary, Malam Maijama’a Adamu, in a press statement made available to Sunday Mirror said that immediate assumption of government and people generally in the state was that, the barbaric incident which was unprecedented in the history of the state was ethno- religious in nature, which he said led the government to take a proactive measure, by beefing up security across the state to prevent further escalation of the crisis. According to the governor, “Contrary to our initial assumption, however, preliminary investigations revealed that the unfortunate incident was not ethno-religious in nature, but likely due to personal or business conflict.

This is highly regrettable and unacceptable, he claimed. The statement, however, said that the people of Adamawa State condemned in strong terms, “this act of inhumanity has portrayed the state in bad light and affected it socially and economically at both national and international levels, adding that Adamawa State should not be used as a theatre for such heinous crimes. According to the statement, “while regretting the occurrence of this incident, we wish to state categorically that no Adamawa State community is involved in it, and it was neither ethnic nor religious as previously assumed.

However, the statement did not talk on 12 worshippers of Christ Apostle Church who were gunned down by unidentified gunmen; neither did it speak on four bomb explosions reported by the state’s Police Command at the Christmas period. Effort by our reporter to speak to the victims’ families or Igbo leaders in the state was fruitless, as none of them was ready to comment on the issue, which they feared might

1. Please show me 1 country that has achieved an AUTONOMOUS secession without conflict.

2. If Ojukwu Had died in that conflict, then the Biafran struggle would have taken a new dimension and would still be alive today.

3. My mission is not to "Curse, mock and whatever else you have decided to make my mission", I only made my own opinion on the issue of the Man Ojukwu, His Life and his death same as all of you have done on this SIte and just because mine differs from yours, your lackeys resort to challenging my ethnicity.

4. Tribe was a major issue in that war. As a matter of fact the entire war was Tribalistic. Thats not in dispute by anybody or article ever published.

5. So you agree that this thread grants everyone the platform on which to share their "True" feelings and yet those who dont share yours must definitely not be Igbos.

6. Ojukwu would go down in history as the first man ever to lead a secessasion from Nigeria and failed. And his secessasion campaign led to the death of over 1.5 million men, women and children of his tribe and region at the hands of the same men and women he was supposedly saving them from. History also has it on record that HE RAN AWAY. History!

7. Ojukwu didnt RUN to fight another day, He ran to be pardoned, contest for Nigerian senate and Presidency, Marry the most beautiful girl in Nigeria, get involved in Anambra State politics and Die in a London hospital. If that is what you call fighting another day then I must really tripping off of this weed!

8. The underlying issue is tribe, The name UNN has been placed on the scale against the love of Igbos for BIAFRA & OJUKWU. Choose ye, this day where your allegance lies. You can either drop the name NIGERIA which you and your friends hate so much and replace it with either Biafra or Ojukwu which you and your friends have been clamouring for since your parents told you the war stories! You cant eat your cake and have it!

P.S; Dont give us that line of "Ojukwu was not an Educationist" hence an Institution of Higer learning would not be a befitting monument for him because USMAN DAN FODIO was also a Jihadist and he has a University named after him.

Why does Okija present facts to your challenge and all you do is insist he is not from Igbo? Next, you start an abuse and he responds in kind, yet the only argument you have is that he is not Igbo? I have many friends in real life and none of them is anything like the Igbos on NL.

I know most of you are little kids who only heard a little story about the war and cannot think, read or understand the history of Nigeria. It has been established that virtually no NL saw the war (except liars as the poll was taken after over a couple of hundred views). In essence, read and understand the history of the war from a neutral perspective to understand what really happened. It is because most of you have no clue that you seem to be doing exactly most of the things that caused the pogrom and war some which include: empty boasting, arrogance, know it all, inferiority-superiority complex, dishonesty, tribalism, ethnocentrism, etc, etc.

@Topic, Ojukwu is respected by his folks and should be immortalized as they wish. It is not on record that he did anything to unify Nigerians but fought for his tribe and so it makes sense for him to be immortalized within his sphere of influence which is in the SE. They can name the university after him if the alumni and current students have a consensus on doing so. Or, modify the name as it is and slot his name somewhere there in some creative way: Ojukwu University of Nigeria, (OUN) University of Ojukwu-Nigeria, (UON) Nsukka, etc or whatever they decide. Or, they can build him a statue or road, etc. One thing though is naming that university after him may create problems for the graduates in getting jobs if the interviewer is another tribalist like most of you on NL.

If you can see 'fact' only in okija's post and not from other people's response to him, then it simply proves that people only see what they want to see.

Who am I to change what you want to see!

Your leprous father and your anally fistulated mother and your entire diseased clan are not fit to talk about any Nri person. You little urchin. Atleast she has her dignity intact onlike your mother, aunties and grandmothers that were passed around like the cheap LovePeddler that they were to all the Biafran soldiers on the frontlines to anally and orally r'ape and use as a moral booster. What bastard father inseminated your tramp of a grandmother and continued your linage of cheap pros'tituting women?! If you had any shame left (which I greatly doubt), you would commit suicide or cut your acursed womb off and do the world a favor of ridding it of the curse that is your linage.

Anuofia! You are not afraid to talk about a princess of Nri Kingdom with your rotten mouth. You filthy pig! You dare talk about a daughter of Nri kingdom like that! Your luck is that civilization has caught up with us, your slave tribe would have been drown in the Niger river for this. Let me tell you now, wether you think you think I am Igbo or not will not stop your mother from sleeping with that Onitsha spare part dealers apprentice. If all you have to talk about is my being non-Igbo then I suggest you delete your Nairaland account because that is a stale argument and has aboslutely no importance in this discussion. Meanwhile, you may want to go assist your mother graduate from turning tricks every night at Iweka market to a brothel.

Atulu! This is the last time I would address an Osu! Royalty and peasants have got nothing to talk about!  angry
Now that I got you talking, I have deduced some few more things, vis:
1. your mother who eloped with the abokis was from nri.

2. she later came back to the east and deceived an okija man into marrying her (telling him you were just a kid she conceived in error)

3. she might have been badly fistulated by abokis (probably conceived you thru her anus). Horrible!

4. i believe your step dad (the one at okija you used to think was your dad ) committed suicide when he discovered he was married to an hausa violated woman thus explaining why you want everybody to commit suicide when they think they have failed (thankfully, not everyone else is depressed like your step dad, many igbo people know how to live and fight another day!).

5. your secret wish is that there is a way you can curse the igbo tribe and it will come to pass. poor boy!

If you respond again, I might find out more about your past and lineage!

Okija_juju,

You keep claiming that you have read books about things that precipitated the civil war, but you fail woefully to show us how Ojukwu started the civil war. Only mentally deranged humans would buy your theory of secession =declaration of war.
Let me ask you, if Hausa/Fulani secedes from Nigeria today, would you fight them?
If Yoruba secedes, would you fight them, even if all Nigeria's oil is there?
I know for a fact that you won't! So, your theory fails on arrival.

However, that is besides the point really. The point is that anyone familiar with Igbo people's mindset, someone with eyes to the ground, can smell from very far that YOU ARE NOT IGBO.

We Igbo are very sane and are NEVER devilishly bitter even against our enemies, not to talk of a man who you admit did some things right at the beginning of the crisis in 1966.
So, just because according to your own false and warped history which no history books corroborate, he failed to die at the war front, you harbor this devilish bitterness against the same man you praised for some things he did right? Even to the point of dancing on his corpse before his burial?  undecided undecided
Take a look at this whole Nairaland; out of thousands of Igbos on this forum, how come it is ONLY YOU that harbor this level of bitterness against Ojukwu?
In Igboland, we say that a man who thinks that ALL his kinsmen are mad, that his own madness is worst! undecided
If you are from ANY part of Igboland, you would understand this simple Igbo belief.

YOU SEE HOW IT IS CLEAR THAT YOU ARE NOT IGBO?  undecided

What still baffles me is why folks are going about on this site claiming to be Igbo when they are not.
How many Igbos have you seen pretending to be any other tribe than Igbo?
One of these days, you will bleat this nonsense to the face of an Igbo guy who would gladly put you out of your misery.

As for Okija juju,

The best way anyone can fight a group is fighting from the inside.

The guy is no igbo. he might have lived all his life in igboland and speak no other nigerian language but that doesnt make him igbo.

How can he claim to have read and researched and didnt read where Ojukwu was made (by the northern milad) to let the igbos he invited back home from the north to go back only for the northerners to start another round of killings.

His claimed his only beef with Ojukwu is that he did not die in the war? Tell me if there is any igbo person on earth who would want that for any reason at all knowing fully well that killing Ojukwu in the war woulda been the abokis greatest defeat to the igbo race.

Like I said before, there are many like Okija Juju, those whose mother followed hausa soldiers to the north for protection. Hausa have rejected him and igbos rejected him and he is undergoing identity crisis.

Since it appears everyone is not answering your moronic questions, let me indulge you.

GenBuhari:

Thanks kunyeo,
Abacha's human rights record was much better than both Obasanjo's and IBB's

Nobody who is criticising my view has come up with any answers to few simple valid questions that I have posed:

1) What would prompt IBB and Obasanjo to blind probe Abacha? Who told them Abacha had foreign bank accounts.

2)Why would a PDP crony - Abubakar Bagunu, be the only person to link Abacha to the looted funds that they allegedly discovered. So all the $700million was owned by this  crony went to court and said he is a 50% business partner with Mohamed Abacha and that they have approx $700m in Swiss accounts.

Then the press including International news media reports and say, that $700m belonging to Abacha's family and friends and business associates have been located and the accounts frozen.

Most just say that $700m belonging to Sani Abacha has been located.

3) Why would the same PDP crony not be mentioned in any Nigerian newspapers?

4) Is it a coincidence that whilst this Abubakar Bagunu, was trying to claim that  Abacha's son owned the looted money, Abacha's son was unable to attend court and deny the charges, because Obasanjo had jailed him on trumped up charges of murdering  Abiola's wife?

4)Why would the same   Abubakar Bagunu, appear to have been rewarded for his co-operation by chairmanship of a company that won a $1billion goverment contract?

5) Why would the same   Abubakar Bagunu, appear to have been rewarded for his co-operation by being selected as PDP Senator for Kebbi State?

6) Why have the Press never pursue Abubakar Bagunu, for answers about his  looting and his association with government?

1. What do you mean by blind probe? They know abacha had foreign account the same way EFCC and even common police knows things.

2. Most of what you said on (2) are mere assertions but the following  link http://www.assetrecovery.org/kc/resources/org.apache.wicket.Application/repo?nid=78488349-a33e-11dc-bf1b-335d0754ba85 might help you understand.

3. Are you suggesting that all the nigerian newspapers are involved in this ploy to frame abacha? SMH.  Anyway, sorry to dissapoint you, Thisday reported it on 30th April, 2000. see link:  http://allafrica.com/stories/200004300179.html

4. It is not news that corrupt people get rewarded in nigeria, how does that make abacha clean. Even Buhari who stole PTF dry is being rewarded with election votes!

5. See (4) above.

6. Again are you suggesting that all nigerian media establishment are all working together to nail abacha?  If you had done a simple googling of bagudu and abacha loot, you woulda seen that it is all over the news.

That the US repealed a law which targeted the rights of a group of people does not mean it stands for everything contained in that law. The US government or Obama has not put out a statement advocating bestiality, so y'all need to STHU. A law which subjugated a group was repealed to uphold the rights of that group. The same law happened to contain a more obscure law, but progress is achieved by destroying and rebuilding elements (something Nigeria would know nothing about).

In years to come, The exact same way you bigots view a white supremacist KKK member today, is how the world (including your children and grandchildren) will view and remember you. A legacy of hate and intolerance.
