I am not here to peddle superiority thoughts. I call things the way I see it and if you dont like it write rebuttal. Igbos are very innovative, enterprising and fearless. The war brought the Igbo land to rubbles and without any help from the federal government Igbos rose rebuild their land. That is a great feat that even some tribe with all the wealth and privileges have not been able to achieve.

Nigerians fear the Igbo man not because they are the worst but because they fear TOTAL DOMINATION by the Igbo.
Sarduana made it known.
Former Oba of Bini made it known.
Oba of Lagos feared usurpation of power by Igbo.

It took me a while to come to this conclusion but it is a danm fact. And I don't care whether Nigerians hate Igbo or not because it is an open practice but how long will you keep living in fear of the Igbo man even when we have no political power.

Mediocre projects are all over Anambra but we have no choice than to appreciate the projects. When you tell them the truth, they will say you are an Afonja or you are from Abia or Imo. All the streets constructed by Obiano have open gutters without space for planting trees and flowers that is why the state is always looking like a prison and very dirty. If you go to Anambra, you may be disappointed with what you will see. Onitsha and Awka are very far from uniqueness and beauty except you what to view their aerial views from the top of a house or bridge. This is the main reason why Anambra can never be more beautiful than Enugu and Imo and I won't be surprised if Onitsha is listed as the dirtiest city in the world for the second time because of its dirty and poisonous air. I was also shocked when Demographia Urban did not even recognize Awka as one of the 28 major urban cities in Nigeria.

I am not into tribal emotional sentiments. Everything must not be by collected data, common sense can work in many situations. Do you need data to tell you France produce better players than England? Do you need data to tell you Ethiopians and ,Eriterean and Somalian women are considered the most beautiful in Africa ? Igbos are by far the most enterprising African group and a visit to Igbo hinterland will fix your doubt.

I know the mindset of the average Kenyan. I have met them here and interacted with them. They are quite calm and cool headed and I try not to engage in this ridiculous dick measuring.The pictures posted here by the Kenyans is what Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie called DANGERS OF A SINGLE STORY. These pictures are not true reflection of what is on the ground. But we cant ignore the fact that Kenya is a beautiful country, I mean, look at those pictures. They are breathtaking. The scenery ,the Arab , European and Indians played a major role in what Kenya has become today.

@OMAMBALA1. Tbh with you, when I joined this thread, I thought highly of Kenya and felt they were completely better than us in all ramifications. Not until I did some deeper research on my own. That was when I discovered that these people are not worth taking seriously. They have very very terrible problems as well. Problems that make me prefer my Nigerian citizenship and would never wish to trade it for theirs, not even if I was offered a good sum of money.

I get your point but we can't ignore the fact that we have been unfortunate with bad leaders. Nigeria has never had a decent leader. Kenyans have A LOT OF FOREIGNERS LIKE SOUTH AFRICA WHO HAS HELPED TO DEVELOP THEIR COUTRY. The inputs of these foreigners has helped to maintain the standard of projects and institutions.

Igbos are involved in many social vices around the world not because our ideologies but because the Nigerian broken system. But NO Nigeria tribe or any African tribe can match the Igbos in wealth based on per capita. Igbos are still by far the richest African group, by a very wide margin and we are not talking about drug money here. Igbos even do trades in Afghanistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, China, Japan, India and many other ridiculous places no African can ever dream of migrating.

The resentment the average Nigerian have for the Igbo man is not because the Igbo are criminals but because of fear of complete economic domination. Sarduana of Sokoto had expressed this fear, the last Oba of Bini had expressed this fear, the Oba of Lagos had expressed this fear and many Nigerians live with this fear which show is offensive way. But they all love Igbo women, of course.

Nnaa, but they all looked up to Ojukwu to provide a safe leadership. I love Ikemba but I felt he failed us as I got older. Ojukwu could have avoided that war, easily. We were not ready for war and we shouldnt have let it happen there is always a better way. This took me a while but I cant keep lying to myself.

After the infrastructural deficit there was a massive and aggressive exodus from the east of Igbos and this exodus carries other social vices with it due to the experience of the war. There was never a Nigerian President who ever tried to integrate the Igbo and made them feel belonged. But the Igbos were determined to survive regardless of how it came by. They became even more aggressive and bullish and this scared many Nigerian groups,also, including the fact that Igbos are core catholics and conservatives.

After the war , you can only imagine ,eastern Nigeria was left in rubbles and there was no plans to rebuilt the east and the neglect started. Murtala Muhammed took over from Gowon and tried to rebuilt the east but he was brutally murdered by Buka Suka Dimka, a Gowon apologist. After the death of Murtala things got really bad for the easterners and rebuilding process were completely abandoned!

On May 30th 1967 Odumegwu Ojukwu declared the sovereign state of Biafra and war ensued. Of course, eastern Nigeria suffered massive casualty including Asaba massacre and things just went down hill from there.

Ojukwu threatened to secede and Gowon dared him and he took the offer because of pride. Ojukwu felt he was more educated , exposed and wealthy ,hence, who is Gowon to stand before him. Gowon himself said Ojukwu didnt think we was gonna fight him. Ojukwu flee the county when death got closer.

This very war destroyed not only infrastructure in place but also our sensibilities, culture and tampered with our very own identity. I dont wish a ffoolish leader on anybody
