Ishilove:

Why start with Anioma? Let us go to the very beginning. What is 'Igbo'?

Igbo is an encompassing identity used to identify all the communities that use "bia" and spread across south east and the midwest. The single and most strongest factor that can be used to define a people is their ancestral language, especially when you cant prove there was a lost language. Henceforth , Ukwuani can only be grouped as Igbo or Igboid regardless of how your emotion directs you...reality is reality and facts are facts. Cc. Ishilove

Secondly, that your line of excuse about how every body in your village despise Igbo makes no sense because what you are saying in reality is that you believe whatever people tell you , in spite of contrary views. Ask questions , madam. You are NOT a ffool ! Ask your father , mother and village people wetin Igbo people do them !!! Ask questions because you cant tell me jack about Kwale. I be correct Lagos boy and I have dated Kwale girl and , yes , 99% of Kwale deny Igbo but none can give you a sensible reason. But , they run around chasing Igbo women...Why are they infatuated by Igbo women if they so much despise us?

When my father wanted to change our surname from my great grandfather to his father because of family land tussle I refused and said NO ! Your personality here paints you as no nonsense girl but you cant ask simple questions like why does Kwale kept speaking Igbo and naming their children Igbo names like Ndidi , Ifeanyi , Isioma , Chiemeka etc. I hated the colonial corruption of my culture so much that I changed my baptismal name and took my grandfather's name. Kwale should do same stop using onu fa ji agu ngu ajah kwue na uyom bu ego.

Do you care to prove your claim ?
Also, I will have you notice that Obaseki is of Anioma descent and that the obi of Onitsha is also Anioma.
The Design of Agbor as well
None of them has ever claimed what you just claimed.
Also I will have you notice that the Midwest was voted into existence by each zones overwhelmingly and that included the Anioma who chose to be in a region with themselves and their other Edo brothers.
So please, prove your claims or else everybody will know you are mentally ill for making such horrific and disturbiy claims with nothing to substantiate them.

Trying to smear the Oba of Benin will not get you Biafra and it will not turn Anioma into Igbo. They remain Edo and that is that.

You the bastvard making threats and posting disgusting smears, you don't even have the courage to use your real name and adress. You want to play Jackie chan under the cover of the internet.

What sort of irresponsible post is this ? You no knowledge of what you are are delving into. You are not qualified nor knowledgeable to discuss Anioma and Igbo subjects.

Ha! You people should stop spamming my mentions!! It is not by force to be Igbo!!! Make una carry una wahala go. This is a new year abeg

Madam , nobody is begging you to be Igbo and YOU KNOW THIS ! Stop feeling important on a faceless forum....Your denial of Igbo is not based on logic. You will still give your children Igbo names just like you were given Igbo names by your parents. Now, being Igbo could not have been so bad if you speak it and uses its nomenclature. Indeed, internet has turned nonentities to heroes.
In fact , I have an Ukwuani co worker who kinda distances himself from the Igbo tag and me being the type that dont give a crap ignored him until the day I heard him greeted his mother in law "ote ofe" and also told me his greetings were Ogbuji na Ukwuani....here is my response, being Igbo couldn't be so hurtful, is it ? And with his own mouth he says , " my brother , we are all Igbo , forget matter" and I said is that so and kept quiet. All his children has Igbo names ,too. If every Igbo was like this Igbo denial would be dead by now.

She is from Ukwuani.. what the hell is she even doing here ? She has always been a confused woman

Cc.Ishilove will not afford us the time to have a decent and civilized debate on her Igbo hate. However, she doesn't shy away whenever this Igbo denial issues comes up and the
Yorubas masking as Anioma indigens join the melee thats when you hear her screaming " God forbid" , " I will never be Igbo" bla bla nonsense. She dare not engage us in a proper debate and tell us what informed her views and opinions because her position is not bases on rational thinking...just incoherent twaddle ricochet from her ignorant forebears.

Enugu looks more or less like a colonial outpost or provincial district, very dusty and old outlook. See Kano which is the age mate of enugu

Kano had continue to produce visionary and ambitious governors , Enugu of the other hand has not and the people are ok with it.

Carry this your advice to the Anambra thread and get out of here. This is a Pan Igbo Forum and anybody is free to post any picture of Igboland here. We point the good parts and bad parts and proffer solutions and hope the people in government stumble upon them or where u expecting Spyder880 to post 3d CAD pictures or computer edited pictures of Anambra here?

But , the guy he condemned is posting Anambra pictures. You guys behave like rrettards sometimes....very emotionally weak and most Igbo youths are like this. I don't think Spider had covered Anambra adequately to service this thread with good pictures but I will just ignore.

what is the meaning of SS igbos?
oga stop living in self delusion the language that Anioma tribe speak is far different from igbos, they may somehow sound a bit similar but they're entirely different.
the language of Igbos of the 5 states of SE is far different from that of Ikwerre, Ndoni, Etche and Anioma of Rivers state and Delta states respectively.
LLobiorah there's nothing to concur, u guys are deceiving yourself.
there is nothing like igbos in SS.

You are not making a modicum of sense. Just because we are here exchanging words doesn't mean we have equal thinking capacity....abeg , shift. I have family members from Iselle Azagba , and this is a prominent family. Go play with kids

And , honestly , Anioma is what the Igbo need not some sinister idea to create Orashi/Njaba state etc state being peddled to dismantle the Omanbala structure.

This is just the plain truth.

I know some emotions are flying around here. But if Aniomas get their own state and have a better control of their politics and economy, the need to deny igbo or the incentive to deny igbo will be mostly killed off.

Oga , you haven't answered my question, yet. What state are you from ?

I have watched you on many occasion and your denial of Igbo is not a problem but the hateful passion you bring with it. You speak of Igbo with deep disgust. And for a person who is not an illiterate and prances herself as an intelligent girl I am constantly perplexed by your level of reasoning...its shameful and disgraceful !

While you guys are at it , here is a shocker....Ndokwa are being heavily Igbonized. However, I am not here to preach Igbo unity but in as much as we are distinct from one another that doesn't stop us from working together for a common good.

It has nothing to do with number of LGAs but your goal and drive. Enugu people are not as agitated about development as Anambra people. This is the reason why there is no opposition in Enugu

No I disagree.

It is simply 50:50.

I don't fall to propaganda. If Catholic is 80% why running around to pick an Anglican as deputy since they have the whole voting block to win.

Obi and Obiano simply won on APGA terms as Igbo party not as Catholic.

But if they want it to be Catholic versus Anglican.

I trust my Diocese everybody will now take the campaign right to the church and altar.

No more Sunday service but political campaign as usual.

Its not a matter of trying to,source for Anglican running mate but just that its not an issue. It was the meagre Anglican population that is fanning this sentiment.

If election should tow the line of Catholic against Anglican and protestant combine, hmmm na em be say catholic will continue to rule Anambra.

In my compound alone we get two catholic priest one is my Dad brother and the other from distant uncle. You can imagine other villages in Anambra.

I can remember when I was small women used that word "Nne father to brag" b4 u know it other families want their son to be Rev. Father too and Rev. Father come dey every where.

Even my school days in Anambra, it was as if the whole student na Catholic bkus every Sunday, crowd that leaves church is always massive.

Is better they practice Politics and pick a competent person than to use religion to determine next governor

Anambra is so rooted into Catholic traditions....its no joke. I used to pray 15 decade all the time with my parents and siblings

No one is denying the contributions of Nri to Igbo culture. However, it is a big fallacy to place Nri above Aro or Awka. It is a terrible fallacy to say that Nri is the cradle of Igboland. Nke ahu bu ezigbo asi.

Nnamdi Kanu can go to whomever he wishes. It changes nothing.

Nobody knows the first people to settle in Igbo land. However, the oldest place human ever lived in Igbo land is located within the Omanbala region. Nri , precisely, is the cradle of Igbo civilization and this is a well ingrained fact that your sorrows cant change.

Don't brink Awka and Nri into this....they practice the Omanbala culture. My lesson you is that bringing Aro and Nri in the same sentence is very insulting. Aro has no cultural ground to stand comparison with Nri.... Aro was founded by slave hunters in the 16th century while Nri existed as early as 9th century. This conversation is very annoying....Aro has no say when it comes to Igbo culture and history. You can't break Kola in the presence of an Nri man this is what every Onye Anambra knows
