Kano was created the same time with Enugu, but look at Kano today while Enugu still look like colonial outpost or provincial district somewhere cheesy
Enugu has no economic advantage like Kano has to facilitate the sort of economic boom that will attract revenue you can channel to infrastructures. Kano is the numero uno in northern Nigeria. I think Enugu state government is too concerned with housing estates and aesthetics. But , the average Enugu man is ok with their progress.

Dunno if it’s just down to the harmattan, but the aesthetics of Enugu looks to have deteriorated under Ugwuanyi!
Enugu is very dusty naa. They will have to go with materials that can go with that will suit their environment.

Even ADAMA people also has a saying that goes like this Igbo fesia Eri, Eri efi ADAMA
This saying is not literal. The Adama Nri play a very important role during the initiation and making of Eze Nri but EZE never bow down to any living man. Why is it that no Adama man ever sat on the throne ?

You guys are ignorant because you are jealous and don't want to show some obeisance. You keep running around using articles written by disgruntled elements to attack the most sacred institution in Igbo land...while the Yoruba , Hausa and Bini are busy build a strong front using their royal fathers

I have read that trash written by Nwaezeigwe to tarnish Nri history...just like Onicha claim to originate from Benin yet no single evidence you trying to call us Igala without a danm evidence is comedy at its finest. If you may know Anambra is filled with Igala all the way down to Orumba...Aguleri, Awka, Oyi , Onicha , Idenmili, Omanbala towns etc all have Igala admixture.

We are also proud of it and love the Igala people.

EZE NRI Enwelana...,Adama Nri pays homage to EZE NRI .....this is Omanbala culture !

Your jealous will not stop Nri from breaking the Kola...Nri Ji Offor. All those nonsense you post are mere day dreams...lmao. I thought you said Aro are the leaders of Igbo...after I have finished trounsing you with a bit of Nri culture you turned to Igala then Adama....lol. This is after you have tried to use Awka to divide Omanbala. Why didn't Nnamdi Kanu go to EZE ARO ,instead he went to Aguleri for blessings.

Every stream has a source and Omanbala is the classic essence the Igbo is made from...Arochukwu has no single cultural practice of their own....just bunch of marauding criminals Who terrorized Igbo land in search of slaves
PoliticsRe: . by OMANBALA1:
Pazienza , I will address your post per paragraph and I will try to make my intention in regard of what I try to achieve with my Omanbala project know and understood. But, let it be known that at no time did I oppose collaboration with sister states.

I dont have to prove who I am to you because it amount to ridicule on my name and image. However, I was born in Plateau State , lived in Jos, Umuoji , Benin , Lagos and many cities in North America. So, I am well travelled and also speak other languages and these exposure and experience has given me the ability to see Igbo people from different angles and dimensions that you cant see with your very extensive education. Onye nje-nje ka onye isi awo. I have practical experiences you can only dream of.

You do not contribute to Anambra thread simply because its not important nor priority for you. To us , Anambra come firstly, mana ana esi na unor dilu mma puo iloh. If your cultural intelligence isnt inadequate you should know these things.... If you brag about being more Anambra than me then show it ..Nnaa, I will not debate with you on who is more Anambra.....but , I can trace my lineage back to 14th century. Every single person in my lineage is from Anambra. Even , my sisters are married to Anambra men , I married Anambra girl. Calling me a northerner is simply pathetic, because I have given out my name here which is verifiable. So , lets drop that topic....its quite trivial.

The problem with many Igbo like you is your victim mentality. You have drapped your senses with victimhood, which in itself is a hindrance to your progress that why I dont join you lot in your wails for an Igbo nation that never existed. You want to hoist an Igbo identity that never existed yet you feel threatened by a more original and realistic Omanbala project ? I dont even think you believe yourself.....the closest you can come to a uniformed Igbo culture and identity is the Omanbala culture. All the elements of Omanbala culture like Ofala , Igba Ijele , Igba Akwunechenyi , Nze na Ozo , Izu ino, Igba Odu of women folks,Igbu ichi , Ijele masquerade , Ufie , egwu ota , the dance steps and all aspect of the Omanbala culture are some practices Ndi Anambra share and relish amongst themselves and I plan to magnify and build more aggressively on that.

I will not stand and watch you erase Omanbala culture just because you want to create an artificial unity just like you people came up with the failed Igbo Izugbe. I want all Igbo to get a clear idea of who they are , so , why are you trying to blur lines...more like delete peoples culture

You can only tell your lies and fables to your village folks. Don't rope in Anambra into this. The discussion is on Nri. The four market days weren't an invention of Nri. All your grandiose claims exist only in your imagination. The Igbos have been using the four market days from time immemorial and yes, the four market days are deities also.

Nri got nothing on Aro. It is verifiable that Eri is of Igala origin. His name, the names of his kids, the attire of the Agulueri king of the old, their customs and folk lore all scream Igala. I'm not condemning Igala. Just setting the records straight.

Eri was an Igala king who arrived into an Igbo speaking area. When Eri arrived he met indigenous people. He engaged Awka blacksmiths. These are verifiable.

Nri was great in its own way, however, it got nothing on Aro. Now, stop claiming what you are not.

You can continue living in your lies. We all know the true history
Bla Bla Bla.....making unfounded claim ain't gonna help you. Nri is Anambra and Anambra is Nri! I a tried true son of the soil will speak on that not you....Omanbala culture is a mixure of Eri/Nri, Onicha , Omanbala , Awka. etc . You cant divide Anambra, you are inconsequential!

Aro has no cultural ground....I know it hurts when you realizes your people are nothing but criminals in the past. The most powerful, elegant and prestigious institutions in ana Igbo all have strong and proven Nri and related groups roots....

Cc. Pazienza, you and I have different goal. I don't mince words and I know the Igbo agenda you are pushing will never come to fruition. I am a thoroughbred realist and I will stick to what I know will work for my dear fatherland/Omanbala.

You are ready to sell your fatherland for ten kobo just to achieve your aim....May I also point out I never see you contribute jack in the Anambra thread yet you are from Ogidi...lmao.

PoliticsRe: . by OMANBALA1: 2:23pm On Dec 31, 2019
This is going to be short and direct.

To those salivating over the partitioning of Anambra, you are dead on arrival because not an inch of Anambra will be ceded to any stupidd Njaba , Anim nor Orashi whatever.

Firstly, your problems in Nigeria did not correlate with your number of state Igbo has , henceforth your proposals has no rational force. Today ,you want Biafra with mentally sick Nnamdi Kanu as your leader, tomorrow you want to be President as if that will solve all your problems next you want to chop Anambra in little pieces to reduce the magnitude of our influence and clout....you are dead on arrival and you better create this stupidd state before I come to political limelight. One of my many goals is to change the Anambra name to the original Omanbala and revisit our ancient culture, find elements of it that I will use to build a single Omanbala structure that will forever bind all Omanbala towns together.

And , now, you want Ekwusigo , Nnewi south , Ihiala and Orumba....my prayer on anyone wishing disintegration of Anambra is mental illness!! Go to your miserable state , fix it and leave Anambra the ffucck alone!! State creation is not solution to the underdevelopment and impoverishment of Ana Igbo.

I am ffucking pissed right now.....onye obuna welu nwayo kwanyelu onyie ugwu!

I always felt the hotel was a bit small...considering it would be one of the best in the state and wouldn’t lack for customers! They need to commence construction on a even better and larger capacity annex ASAP, as time is money! Ceasers Palace on the Las Vegas strip started of small like this, but had to build a even bigger and grander annex when their business improved!

If the airport is actually delivered by the end of the Obiano admin’, it should be expected demand for hotel accommodation in the state would shoot through the roof as even more diaspora, tourists, entrepreneurs and workers/contractors troop into the state en-masse!
Good point. There are also a lot of lands to build a bigger structure, develop the area and build some beautiful mansions. That vicinity has beautiful scenery

Fivestar Golden Tulip Agulu Lake Resort Anambra. My cousins came back from Canada for holidays but by the time we got to Golden Tulip Agulu Lake it was already booked completely despite the fact that it is a very pricey hotel resort, though it's worth it. Agreed, Aros were hustlers and slave hunters. They however, wielded a lot influence back then. The British recognised this and fought to dislodge them. The Brits never bothered about Nri.

However, I totally disagree with you on the four market days and the nze na ozo claim.

The four market days have been with the Igbos since time immemorial. People who never heard of Nri had it. Your claim is a fallacy, my friend

Many Igbo societies had Nze without Nri influence. Many communities in Owerri and Mbaise have it also.

The Ikenga wasn't popular in many southern Igbo communities. I also believe it has an Awka connection to it

Eri was an Igala king who met an already established Igbo community even in the Omambala area. The Awka people were already well established before the arrival of Eri. Many other communities were already there before the arrival of Eri.

You can only tell your lies and spurious claims to ignorant folks
You dont dig into what you dont know. The four market days were originally deities worshipped by the Nri and related groups on different days thats how it was named after the days...you dont know these because you are not from Anambra.

Mbaise and Owerri dont have Nze na Ozo!!...the behavior of an Ozo man lacks in the average Imo , Abia and Ebonyi man. Those who didn't learn Nze na Ozo directly from the Nri borrowed or copied it. You dont have the prestigious institution of Nze na Ozo nobles. Stop claiming what you dont have....and what Anambra practices is Omanbala culture and it has definition

Ikenga is the cult of the right hand that spread beyond Igbo land into Uhrobo , Igala and Edo. It is an Ndi invention and all the Igbo know that Aka- Ikenga is the most powerful arm of Ohaneze Ndigbo. Now, you know.

The Eri and Igala gibberish is nothing more than trying to save face....bring your proof, oga . By the way Anambra share alot with Igala and we are proud of it....all the way from Aguleri to even Orumba has Igala. We love our Igala brethren. Anambra has beautiful elegant culture and you are jealous.

List Aro achievements...even the Aro Izuogu , Ajali and Ikelionwu practice Omanbala culture. Aro people are nothing but criminals who terrorized Igbo land and today they have nothing to show for it because there was no substance nor essence...read history of Nri because we are the pride of Igbo!
