Purehuman: Abuja is the seat of power, it has something to offer. Portharcourt is the oil and gas hub of Nigeria, it has something to offer. Lagos is the business capital of Nigeria, it has something to offer. What has Anambra got offer investors? Nothing but average population size at best.
Like the Singaporeans did, lure the investors with little or no tax, when they get comfortable, do whatever you like because they can run no more. This is Ignorance. Anambra has so much to offer ,the state is one fastest in urbanization due to influx of people. |

nnamdijonathan: The Chinese company and other stakeholders were going to spend 2 billion dollars on that airport, don't you think it would have been better to use that money to build a thermal power plant or assist century power to complete their 2,000mw power plant in Okija, at least, Anambra has gas deposits. Anambra can also invest in a 500mw wind power plant which will not even cost as much as 2 bn dollars. Great idea but the over technicality that shrouds the Nigeria power sector probably makes it unattractive for the Chinese investors. Moreover, the Chinese rarely believe in partnership, they want absolute control. They would rather build a privately owned power project. |

hammer6F: Nwanne, I appreciate your honesty, we need this type of honesty in Ala igbo politics.
So, Obiano used phantom airport to deceive us? I wouldn't say deceive but over ambitious. He has the will to do it but lets be honest Anambra do not have the financial strength to tackles all the infrastructural needs of the state. We need to increase taxes, that's the only way out. Our people don't want to pay taxes. There is no way a shop owner in main market should not pay up to 20,000 naira in revenue, monthly. These citizens are robbing the state. |

Omabala wat is the status of Obiano inetrnational cargo airport? I don't think that airport will be done in 10 yrs! There are more pressing issues that takes priority over that fraudulent Chinese airport. You think Chinese people are gonna come and build an airport for you ? Obiano need to invest more in high quality roads. |

The Yorubas , take the arrival of the Europeans and they are not much different from the Northerners. Have you been to the Yoruba villages and see their living conditions?? Their bread and butter is THE ALMIGHTY LAGOS WHERE EVERY ONE OF THEM ORIGINATED FROM. As long as Lagos exist Yorubas will keep playing the ostrich. Yorubas don't really know what they want from Nigeria nor their destiny. If Yeebos clamor for secession Yorubas will start their own, if Northerners push an agenda they will equally join them. I don't think Yorubas are people who are ready to do anything tangible to define their destiny in the present Nigeria. But I know one thing, they will not chose to stay with the north if Nigeria breaks but they will not ask for secession. They just want you Yeebos to do the work...lol. I guess that the definition of that sanctimonious word SHOFISHTICATED..LOL |
Politics › Re: I Don't Want Niger Delta In Biafra by OMANBALA1: 9:48pm On Jul 31, 2018 |
The average Igbo man is politically deficient I guess because we never build a kingdom to afford us the experience on how to play national politics. An Hausa shoe shiner is more politically equipped than even an Igbo University graduate.
I listened to Nnamdi Kanu and his followers and I was stunned by the carelessness with which they insulted the Fulani,Hausa and even the Yoruba.
Listen, you see a northerner has nothing to lose , the Yoruba has Lagos and they could careless if you Yeebos burn to ashes. A northern is accustomed to living in a deplorable condition and their mentality is million miles apart from the Igbo man who want to be rich and live an affluent life. The northerner is comfortable with the way their elites exploit them and to them its the wish of ALLAH MAGNIFICENT...LOL. You, the Igbo is the only one concerned with the state of governance. They have nothing to lose and they will do anything humanly possible to frustrate you. |

Ignorance , arrogance and lack of public etiquette was at the root of the fall of Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB followers. Nnamdi Kanu of all people should have known how much these SS ethnic minorities resent the Igbo yet you ffoollishly carved them into your imaginary Biafran state. These people denied you publicly and even joined Yorubas to insult , incite and mock you yet you think they are your allies!! |

backlog of salaries and pensions are still being owed, there are more public schools because private schools can't thrive there. inasmuch food is cheap there and bus meat readily available, Osun State is very poor state even but fifth world standard. Every Yoruba person is from Lagos...lol |

Secondly, you sound furious and hateful and there is absolutely no need for you to feel like that because nothing has prompted such behavior, except some hidden hatred you habor for the Igbo which will only blind and destroy you. But don't hate anoda igbo State.nah my abia state time to shine nah He brought Anambra into it ,firstly, making it seem as though Abia students were better. However, its on record Anambra is the state with the least cases of exam malpractice. The result of this waec exams is the true reflection of the reforms started by Peter Obi and Obiano is continuing with it. If you paid attention you will notice Anambra dropped by two to three places in the last three exams due to the aggressive crack downs on exam malpractice and even the number of students taking exams in Anambra dropped drastically because its no business as usual. Abia can go clean up their houses and then come talk to us instead of deceiving everybody with these fraud of a result. |

horsepower101: Notice how all the South East states are always in the top 10 every year.
Whenever the playing field is level and system is Merit based, Igbos always come out on top. This happens all over the world not just in Nigeria. This is why the north had to drag us down with quota system.
I am extremely impressed with students from Abia state. Even though they don't get the same level of educational support Anambra students get.
CC; lalasticlala Anambra has almost zero exam malpractice. Same cant be said of Abia. |
